Over the days, Ship, the Zorua kid, had been lost to a computer -- a resource he hadn't had access to until now. It was a compendium of knowledge. The internet, anyway. The first thing he looked for was confirmation on the hybrid bigotry phenomena...and as he feared, there were even people on the internet that disseminated that hateful rhetoric. Even when information was freely available that could dispel all these backward beliefs...
But now he had concrete information. Though he felt worse about the potential nature of people, he knew that they were a smaller group than he feared and, perhaps, it was better not to give them credit at all.
It would be fine.
That's what he told himself, anyway.
He walked into the living room sipping a glass of water. It was clean water from tap. He didn't have that back in his homeland, and when he was working, he cut every corner he could to keep his bills low.
This was fine. If only he could better work off the debt he felt he owed to these people...

Blizzard120 Freth gave a sigh then looked over towards the kitchen. Night apparently was around for the most part...and...Darts? What hell hole did he crawl out of. Maybe not having Blizzard around was a good thing, considering the crap that could potientially happen if he came back here very soon. She then had her attention turned towards Ship. "...well, hey there Ship. Are you doing alright?" Darts shoots a wink at Freth as he heads for the kitchen. "Hey there, Frosty." He quips, before extending a hand to open the kitchen door. He looks back at Night, pondering her question. "Well, after you rescued me from the mountains of debt I owed that Yakuza gang you found me in the clutches of, I started wandering the regions again as soon as I could walk." He opens the cupboard above his head, grabbing a fresh bag of coffee and begins setting up the coffeemaker. "I hit the road as a small-time gambler on the road. Three-card monte, find the bead, that kind of stuff. I couldn't hit up any major casinos if I wanted to keep my legs intact. I befriended other travellers, met some interesting people, but for some strange reason, I kept ending up in spiritual havens. Stuff like Lavender Town, Ecruteak. Abandoned Mansions, other places like that. It sent chills down my spine, and I ran into some trouble here there or that other place..." his sentence ends in a mutter. "And so I wound up here." he resumes in a normal voice, watching the coffee begin to pour out of the machine, ignoring his own vagueness.
