So my boyfriend thinks I should take the tub of vanilla ice cream home that was leftover from when we had pie and that everyone in the office has forgotten about. 
I would check the Expiration Date and "Texture". Also, make sure that it is "okay" with work.

I'm not going to take it home. It would melt before I get home. Plus, I can just enjoy it in moderation at work when I'm having a rough day. The ice cream is still good. It was recently bought.

Yep. So today our kitchen island was filled with soda cans that were for free. The note said that the soda was expiring and will be poured out and recycled if there are any left tomorrow. I took a few cans home so they don't go to waste. I didn't even know soda expires when it's in a can.

Food and "Soda" are different. Sodas will eventually go "flat" if not consumed.

Actually, that image proves that I am correct. Flat soda doesn't fizz/explode on you when you open it haha.
