Rumors and Plants (NightWerewolf here)

Alex smiled and hugged her back. "I'm pretty comfortable right now." He said softly and kissed her for a moment.

Eva smiled and ran her fingers through his hair. Her heart was racing and she could feel the baby inside of her even more. For a moment, she pulled apart to look at him. "I'm comfortable here to." She giggled and kissed him again.

Alex nodded with a smile and kissed her deeply. He rubbed her back gently as he could feel her fingers moving through his hair.

Eva gently began to massage his head and smiled as he sighed in the kiss. Eventually, they pulled apart and she rested her head on his shoulders. "Now I'm really awake." She giggled. "You know I think we may have a problem on our hands. It's about Jessica and Leroy. Jessica keeps avoiding the subject every time I try and pull him up. She still refuses to tell me what happened while we were on our honeymoon. Has Leroy said anything to you?"

Alex tilted his head to the side and thought for a moment. "Um... not that I know of. He's kept to himself a bit lately, just tells me when we get our lunch break." He explained. Whatever had happened between them couldn't have been good.

Eva nodded. "That's what I thought. I know." She said as an idea popped in her mind. "We need to get them in the same room. Maybe we can invite them over for lunch today or something but we don't tell them the other is coming. We'll get to the bottom of this."

Alex nodded a little. "Yeah... How about tomorrow? I know Leroy isn't doing anything." He said.

Eva nodded and then sighed. "I just worry about those two. Jessica is my best friend and Leroy's yours." She paused as a thought occurred to her. "What should we have for lunch tomorrow? We might have to go shopping."

"Well it doesn't have to be a big lunch or anything. I know Leroy likes grilled cheese." He shrugged and thought about what she had said. Without really knowing it, he worried about them too.

Eva nodded. "I'll think of something. I'm sure whatever I make will fine." She buried her head in his chest and sighed. "Why do this people have to cause me so much stress?" She giggled.

Alex chuckled softly and held her head. "It's only because you care for them so much." He smiled and kissed her head.

Eva lifted her head and smiled at her husband. "This is true. You know who I also care about?" She asked before kissing him quickly. "You and our baby."

Alex smiled and blushed slightly. "And I care about you and the baby too." He said softly and kissed her back.

Eva kissed him back and the two eventually broke apart. "So what shall we do today?" She asked him as she snuggled deeper into the blankets. "Actually, I'm craving an omelet.........with pickles." She said as she trailed off with her thought.

"And now the strange cravings begin." He chuckled. "I don't what we will do today. But I can make you breakfast." He said sitting up. "What kind of omelet, and what do you want me to do with the pickles?"
