"It couldn't be THAT bad, could it? Or...is it that what got Blizzard to start teaching you?" He asked. "Blizzard on any other occasion wouldn't do such a thing for anyone, really...its why I ask..."
"Well a fire type WOULD help considerably...but I have never heard of Fire types being around this neck of the woods...just a lot of grass and bugs and of course the birds that feast on them both." I said "Perhaps when we get closer into Goldenrod..."

"I didn't even know the first thing about battling, let alone using a Pokemon. My dad was going to teach me when I finally decided to go with it, and a couple I did have with me were his. But a few things happened right before then, which put any of that on hold." Aden explained. "So it was probably that, among other things, that led to it. If there's any more precise reasoning, not even I've grasped it."

"If I remember, i didn't see a fire-type until closer to Ecruteak City." Ryan says, going off what he encountered when he was going through the region.

"Sounds like Blizzard, alright. Though, this is the first time that I ever heard of him going this deep with someone..." he thought about this. Suddenly that thoughts about change came back.
"Who knows. Aden may luck out at one point. Though I don't want to pressure Aden too much about what to capture. This is his gym run, not ours." I said. "He probably knows it all too well, but he's found himself with a conundrum that he hadn't realized until sometime after leaving Violet City...he doesn't want to be some of those trainers, and by some, as you and I know, happens all too frequently, that he ends up capturing Pokemon to the point where he has a full party, which he just about has, and end up not training the other Pokemon." I said to him. "I told him its one of those challenges as a trainer. Even I tend to have that problem from time to time..."

"He's probably got his reasons either way." Aden said, shrugging. Though, he couldn't help asking when he saw Bugsy's expression. "Something on your mind?"

Ryan shrugs. "It can be difficult. Especially once your pokemon are all fully evolved. Trying to balance things can be tough." Ryan says. "So Goldenrod is our next stop? Will be good to see Whitney again after all these years. " Ryan says.

"Oh Geez, Whitney. If the first two gyms didn't make Aden sweat enough...ooooh, boy. Cow of doom. Enough said..." I said.
"Oh, nothing really...I'm just left to wonder what happened with you and him over the past year or so." He said, standing up. "I think I best head off to the back and go check up on my Pokemon, I need to see them too..."

"I gave Aden fair warning about that Cow. I doubt him understanding how bad it is will sink in until he sees it himself." Ryan says.

"It'd probably take the better part of a day or two to really explain it. A lot's happened. But yeah, lemme do that myself. Just don't let this stuff get to you, okay? You were made a gym leader for a reason. I don't really know what that entails, but you must've done something impressive to become one when you did." Aden didn't take long to get up and walk off himself, to get to his own Pokemon. He still needed to talk to them...

"Hell, Freth never took part in the gym tour let alone have much involvement in the gym system itself and even she knew of Whitney's Miltank...pissed her the hell off. Lets just say that Miltank and Freth's Cloyster met and...the results weren't pretty. Now let me be frank on this. Cloyster has a shell that is said to resist a bomb blast, ergo, this thing surely has defense like no other. For that matter, it has a fair bit of assault power in its own right also. That...didn't exactly matter." I explained to Ryan.
Bugsy made his way off, following Aden for a bit since the both of them were heading to the same general area, but Bugsy was first to split up, going into a room with his fallen Pokemon. Aden's Pokemon would be a bit further down.

Aden was able to find the room easily enough, and it didn't take long for him to start talking to the Pokemon in there. He'd probably be some time, with a lot of his talk serving as an effort of encouragement. And apologies to Mareep; her second gym fight, and she was still having a rough time of things.

"TO say the least." I said to Ryan. I looked over towards a wall...Aden moved. Bugsy and Aden seemed to have separated...at least that's my best guess...also guessing he's with his Pokemon now. Maybe all is settled? I'll find out later. "At any rate." I made a bit of a content sigh, then checked my watch. "Let's go see how Aden's Pokemon are doing." I said. "If they are good to go, then we may want to head on off to Goldenrod...at least make it through the woods before dark." I said.

There really wasn't too much to be said about the conservation that had happened, though one thing was certain. Mareep and Geodude were going to need to catch up a bit. But Aden knew Nidoran was getting a lot of battle experience... suffice to say, it was a bit of a juggling act.
