True, but those are easily taken down with a Destroyer or some missle ships.

Hell, I just swarm them with every fighter and bomber I got, and tear it down in seconds.

They're strong against destroyers, not weak. you may lose one, but the other five will kick the holy hell out of the bigger ships.

But then again, you probably haven't just fought wave after wave of them either, but I could be wrong.

Trust me, I've gone up against a lot of them at once. Maybe it's faulty AI, but they never pose much of a threat to me, as long as I'm attacking.

Now, if I turn around, which the ships like doing when they're in formation and they have to pass through some obstacle, then I get blindsided, and end up losing engines and shileding before I can do anything.

All I know is fighters are useless against them and destroyers can't knock them out fast enough. I mean, the acclamators are better suited against those things than the almighty destroyer.

On a side thought, the interdictors actually may even the odds. totally forgot about them though..

They would. A single Interdictor kept near your destroyers would keep the missles away. All of them.

Granted, I never use Interdictors. Takes up points I'd rather put into ISDs.

I mean, by the time I start attacking on full, I have an economy that let's me crank 5 ISDs a day at least. By the end of the game, I can fill up every major spaceport with ISDs: Kuat, Fondor, Sullust, Mandalore, Mon Cal, Hypori, etc.

Yeah, but you can produce interdictors on any planet.

And I use less than half my points anyhow.... strange, no?

Not really. By the time I end a game, I only use up about 450 of 950.

Know what's a good game? Sim City 4. After years of playing off and on, I finally got a city with a population of 40,000.

Now to just get enough money to put up the District Court House, finish with the new roads, keep the budget balanced while steadily raising the quality of life, and then find some way to squeeze an airport on the already full map. gonk
