Well it looks like my laptop is screwed up or something. Suddenly it is unable to connect to our wireless network even though it says it is well in range. I have no idea how or when I will be able to get it fixed. If anyone has any idea why it would suddenly crap out like this feel free to share.
Other than that, I probably won't be on much even though we have other computers, I just don't like using them.

Are you good with fine tools and small pieces? If you are, you can probably take the case off your laptop, unplug the network card from the motherboard and plug it back in.
At least, that works on my computer (well, it did once), since mine has a modem and 802.11b wireless chip on the same postage-stamp-sized PCB. If you don't know where your wireless chip is, I wouldn't try this.

Sometimes wireless can be touchy. gonk And just because you are getting a wirless signal, it does not mean you are connected online.
Every now and then it does not hurt to reset the hub and modem.

UglyCoyoteNG Affy whats your schedual like? Well, as it stands right now for summer, very open. Working two days out of the week, a grand total of 13 hours per week. So unless I get more hours or a second job, I'll have lots of time

Shoki - Yes,sadly, they do and have. I set one free a few years back, only to be told the same rabbit was killed by its mother (unmistakable, this baby bunny looked like somone flicked paint on his a**) so i was assured it WAS this bunny.
Af - Cat or dog. Ferrets aren't wanted useualy in most places, they have a high cost set up, too. Rats poop and pee all over the place. you don't want that. As a general rule, rodents do that, so they're out ofthe question. Bunnies can be very nice, but I never had any luck with them. So, im saying Cat or Dog.

Affy, get a neutered male cat. They're very affectionate and love to be petted or held on one's lap and mine like to chase stuff and bring it back to me.

They're just as affectionete, and cost much less in the long run, seeing as males are territorial and fight. Phantom has cost me well over a thousend this year in vet bills from fights.

Every now and then it does not hurt to reset the hub and modem. *Tackle glomp* Reseting everything seems to have been the key, though I won't say anything certain till everything works or a while. I was thinking about trying that, but wasn't sure if I needed to do anything special when reseting. My dad is normally the one in control of all this since it goes through his computer but he just left home yesterday to visit his mother who is seven hours away. I'm so computer illiterate. sweatdrop

Some how I have a feeling Affy would have an indoor cat. My cat is neutered male, and he is a real pansy. Won't see him setting out to do battle anytime soon. -_- O.o this makes me think of my parents old cat. He used to be a indoor outdoor cat along with their collie. Well he would go and tease the other cats and get them all pissed and then lead them back within our property to the dog to do the fighting. <.<

If you've ever talked to me when I'm using my computer. And I'm using wireless at the time and it's unstable.... you'll hear all about it.
If you find you can't get any wireless signal, then it's best to change the channel of the wireless. I use channel 7 myself. But in your case, resetting the router/modem is best.
I wish people would stop reading over my shoulder

Dogs are returning to homes this wednesday. I personally don't think 2 of the dogs are ready, but we have done miracles in 2 days time. I also had a fight with the boxer today. We were correcting him for biting my hands when I put his pinch collar on, on the last correction, he decided he;d had enough and came up at my face. So we had a nice little tussle which ended up with him down on the ground and a nice little tooth hole in my forearm. fun stuff >.> I don';t mind being bitten, but it does get the adrenaline pumping and left me drained after that

I can't have a cat. For one, I know at least 2 of my roommates would have a problem with that. The other part is, as I mentioned earlier, I can't afford a cat. You have to put down a separate security deposit for the animal (in this case $185, yikes), and even then, I'm not sure they're really allowed. I know rats are because the 2 roommates who don't like cats have rats, which is why I had decided on them in the first place. I just really want a pet of some kind, that isn't a fish. Fish aren't pets. They're basically living screensavers confused

As for fish being screen savers, better not let phantom hear you say that. talk2hand
