Still nothing yet. I wonder if I didn't sprinkle enough seeds into the soil or maybe I was suppose to scatter them on top of the soil rather than covering them since they're so small...

Depends on what the Instructions stated and it does take time. Just keep the soil "moist" and make sure that Sunlight will shine upon the soil.

The instructions weren't clear so I followed the first set of instructions. I guess we just need to be patient. My brother and mom are keeping the soil moisture and the planter is sitting in front of the balcony window. Hope they sprout soon.

Still nothing yet with the herbs...on another note, I watched more Star Trek over the long weekend and now we're on season 2. My boyfriend wants us to get to the Trouble with Tribbles episode. He thinks I'll like it but he won't tell me what Tribbles are. I'll have to watch a lot of episodes before we get there (we're on episode 2 or 3 and the Tribbles episode is 15th in the season).

Odd... not even alittle "sprout"...? That is a funny and cute episode. If he won't tell, I cannot then and do not want to "spoil" anything.

The herbs had a few sprouts yesterday when my brother checked! Glad we don't have to reseed the planter...I was worried that my boyfriend was trolling me like if it was an episode is full of giant bug-like aliens or something. Glad to hear that it's a funny and cute episode from someone else haha...I look forward to watching it.

One of the best series.

Talking about space movies, did you guys watch Star Wars too?
I love them both.

And about off topic movies, more spiritual/combat ones, check Man of Tai Chi. Awesome. That movie be like:

We did. We had so many dumplings (I may have gone a bit overboard ordering dumplings at dim sum but so worth it haha) and then walked it off at Prince's Island Park so we can check out the Canada 150 sign that was put up for our country's 105th Anniversary. Saw some adorable gosling on the river and looked for some colorful gopher garden ornaments. Got to walk across the Peace Bridge again too. Then we had bubble tea and I tried one of their new drinks. It was layered in different colors like a sunset and tasted delicious too (like mangoes and tea). Then we dropped by the Chocolate Lab to pick up some really good chocolate before my brother and I went to a family dinner for my cousin's newborn baby's one month celebration. Phew~ It was a tiring but very fun day.

I'm going to the zoo today with boyfriend, his daughter, and his brother's family. Had to get up at 7:30 this morning to fit my yoga in and have enough time to get chores done (I usually do them Sat but I was obviously busy yesterday) so I can free up the rest of my day to go. It's a lot of effort to get ready for an outing when you're only asked the day before and you already had your weekend planned. I hope it'll be worth it and that he appreciates it (I've been to the zoo enough times that it's not really that interesting anymore until they finish renovations and open up the new area for the pandas).

I mostly had fun except for the part where his brother and his brother's wife asked stuff about if I wanted kids or how I felt about the family outing. It put me on the spot and I wasn't sure what angle they were coming from with the questions. I guess I didn't really answer the question cause I got so nervous and it got all awkward. My boyfriend got all mad at me for it even though he really should've helped me out and rephrased the question in a more direct way. Then after we left, I found out he didn't even considered asking me to the zoo until after his brother replied to his invite and that was why it was so last minute. Made me feel like they were conspiring to try to corner me into answering questions or that he didn't really consider how I would feel.

On the plus side, he did tell me yesterday that he appreciated that I went to the zoo with them even though I didn't want to so that made me feel somewhat better.

Yea, there's a couple of other things I want to talk to him about too. I'll try to have a chat with him today but I hate talking about this stuff cause it never comes out sounding right or I'm at a lost for words on how to phrase things so the other person gets the main thing that's bothering me. I also don't want to sound too picky or sensitive about things.
