The flames and lightning entwined as the blades collided. Xion was pushed back but still standing. He then pushed away and dodged to the side swining his blade upward....

Gabriel gripped his sowrd with both hands and brought it down to block teh upswing of the blade. As he did, he sent a new intense flame down it.

Xion was forced to turn away from the flames. The side off face turned towards the flames seered the side of face. In return he too sent pulsed out a more intense bolts of lightning in order to allow him to leap away.
His burnt flesh stung as sand blew into the open wounds. His one eye useless now and distorted his perception.

At another crack of lighting Gabriel leapt backwards to dodge them, but felt hsi hair start to stand on end from the crackling static. He was right to ahve kept his wings out of the equation - he was sure that if he had dared take to the air he would be a smouldering corpse by now.
As he had dodged his flame died down momentarily.

Despite his injured eye, Xion did take notice that the flame dimmed. He immediately took action releasing another rain of bolts. He would much rather have used his whip but with his perception off it would prove of little use.

Gabreil brought his sword up in an attept tp gaird agsint the lightning, but it was of course hopeless. He screamed as one bolt hit him square in the chest and flung him backwards. he dropped, rolled and staggered quickly bac to his feet.

"Come now," Xion said. "Adam put up more of a fight than you." Xion hope to ignite a bit of bury from Gabriel in hopes of making the battle more intense for his own amusement.
Blazing flames show him true suffering....
A spiraling flame shot towards Xion from behind, but he had already created an electrical shield that deflected most of the attack. He glanced over at Opal you had stepped out of the tomb and then back at Gabriel.

in part relived and in part horrified that Opal dared to incite Xiuon's wrath, Gabriel conce ntrated and waved his arms to bring up a cirle of fire around he and Xion, oping to protect the otehrs form him.
"Adam is a demon. I am not." he said. "So I dont know what exactly you're trying to prove with that."
He brace himslef nd sighed.
"Lets end this quickly. Do you actually want me at 100%?"

Opal stepped back at the rising flames that surrounded the two warriors. She hoped Gabriel would be alright.
Xion smirked, "That or more." Xion became very energized in the battle know. He would either rise or fall. Either outcome was fine with him. He rised his sword...

Gabriel nodded and closed his eyes for a moment in focus. He wondered how long Xion woudl last...it was foolish, but he actually hoped he would put up a good fight.
"'kay."
He gripped his sword and leapt high into te air, returning and spreading his wings. Below in the ring of flames he held his hands out to it. With a sudden cataclysm of power the groundin the ring of fire below cracked and exploded out before imploding in on itself with increidble force.
[haha Gabriel's pretty damn powerful, since he's technically the second thing to God...just sayin XD)

The electrical barrier Xion had used to protect himself dispussed after several minutes. Xion looked upwards at Gabriel and actually smiled. His fall in an honorable battle with an opponet who's skills surpassed with gave him an expression of peace. He gave no screams of pain as the flames consumed him.
Opal fell backwards at the force and watched as the battle came to an end.

Natasha yelped again at the huge explosion and dashed to the enterance of the tomb. She caught the end of something that practically looekd like a nuclear bomb. She gripped to Lilith's arm for some sort of comfort, wondering what the hell had happened.
Gabriel looekd down at the swirling flames with sadness and sighed. Xion hadn't suddenly emerged - he must have not been abel to escape it. It was what he wanted, but it was saddening too. He kept the flame's intensity up for a while longer, to be sure that Xion's body would completly disntegrate, and then eventually let them die down.
"I hope you find peace, Xion. Maybe I'll meet you again someday." He said, hoping that the demon would find a good reincarnation befitting of his talents, but more inclined to goodness. He murmered a blessing to him and then flew down to land in the crater he'd created.
"I think it's all over." he said

In hell an armored burnt corpse appeared upon the plains of hell. It stared blankly skyward and its hollow laughter echoed. A Shade materialized next it and began to drag the corpse to a more hidden location where it's master could take the time to repair himself.

Dougal felt quite impressed about the Gabriel's abilities although he still thought Adam was cooler.
Opal stumbled to her feet and dashed over to Gabriel. "Are you alright?" she asked.
