It didn't take long to hear one of them approach, let alone see. Almost as soon as they did, Aden moved back a little. As he saw it, he was liable to wind up in some sort of fight. Plenty of cover there may be, it didn't mean much when one was outnumbered. Including Pokemon.

However, he could buy a little time to help that kid. The ball in his hand, he rolled along the ground, eventually letting out his Geodude. As for Aden himself? He waited for the one approaching to get within range, and made use of the chi he had gathered. That one would be finding a Psychic-infused punch heading his way.

Aden's accuracy was a tad off, he learned, as his attack didn't make an impact to speak of. Options were wearing thin. Looking to his Geodude and motioning for it to go out in front of him, his Pokemon would be found to do just that.

His Geodude shooting out of the brush, it threatened to tackle the man that kept on alert.

"About as okay as you're going to be." Aden spoke up, dashing out from the bush and rushing for the man still near the kid. "Geodude, do something about the other one!"

Geodude responded by keeping up with the crawling man, smacking the Pokeball further away. "Geo." Obviously, it wasn't about to let whatever was in that ball be sent out.

Geodude just gave a guy a look, arms crossed. "Dude geod." To it, he could just deal with it.

Aden was quick to pull a second Pokeball out, stopping himself before he ended up ramming the guy. While it might've worked, that ball created too many possible ways that a charge could be stopped. "So, you want to explain what's going on here, or will I need to try and force the words out?" He asked.

Having something like this on his hands, Aden thought, was kinda inevitable based on his actions. If he had taken a different approach, he might've been able to avoid conflict entirely. Perhaps in that sense, he made a mistake, a minor mess.

But as he saw it at present, it was one that could be cleaned up. "Maybe I should start keeping track of the names I get called." He mused, but he didn't waste a second in chucking the ball he had in hand. "Mareep, this one's yours! Thundershock!"

The ball opened to expose the small sheep, who responded with a quick bolt threatening to hit the Golbat that was now before her.

Aden clasped his ears at once, cringing at the horrible screeching. While this kept him somewhat safe apart from a good chance of ringing ears, Mareep had no choice but to take the whole screeching. He could hear a pained bleat coming from her, as she tried to ram the Golbat responsible for the sounds.

Instead, she ended up tripping in the process and was going the wrong way anyhow.

"Mareep, watch it over there!" He shouted, though right now, she couldn't really hear.

The bad news to this was Mareep quickly found out how bad she was going to be feeling upon being subjected to Golbat's venomous fangs. The good news was that Golbat would learn being right up against an electrified sheep wasn't a smart move.

In response to the biting, she let off another jolt, desperately trying to shake Golbat off.

While Aden said nothing at first, a firey look began to show in his eyes. "Mareep, get it off you! Don't let up on the electricity!" This guy was officially on a list that he'd later hope he never got on.

"I'm not playing hero." Aden commented. He could already see Mareep wasn't doing too well as the poison began to course through her. "Mareep, I know that poison's gonna be really bad, but hang on for a bit. Charge up as much as you can, while it's reeling!"

While the sheep wasn't too keen on that, feeling progressively sicker from the poison, she tried to build up as much static as she could into her wool. This Golbat wasn't going to be the thing to stop her today, if it could be helped.
