SkunkJames Bush signed a Gay rights law. No, really. Bush signed a gay rights law. I'm serious. Bush signed a gay rights law. http://www.gaypatriot.net/2009/01/05/bush-signs-gay-rights-law/ I saw this when it happened, but for some obscure reason, despite how FRIKKIN' newsworthy it is, not many people seem to talk about it. Not many people even seem aware. I was waiting to see if there was going to be any coverage somewhere along the lines, but nothing! This was a huge (if not extremely delayed) step forward, and the fact that it was signed by Bush of all people? You'd think there'd be a little more coverage. You know, I think the republican-type press didn't cover it much because they felt he was betraying him, and the democratic-type press didn't want to admit that Bush actually did something positive for the LGBT community. And I believe that Bush signed it simply so that he would be able to point to it and say that at least he did something for us. I dunno. Politicians. so, ALG. What are thine thoughts? I dunno, I prolly haven't heard of it cause it doesn't affect anyone I know
