Naruto Daycare RP (Open and Accepting!)

Shikamaru wandered for a while before he heard Naruto's voice. I wonder what that knucklehead is up to, he thought, heading in that general direction.

Kakashi, completely confused and tired, sat down. "Where in the world did those kids get to?"

Gaara nodded slowly. "I-It's okay......" he said as the san slowed to a stop and returned to the gourd.

Kyo looked up at Tsunade. "Ah, Tsunade-sama.....again." she said.

Lorelai's smile brightened as she got up and slapped the dirt from her pants. "Me an' Naruto are playin' frisby. D'ya wanna play too?" She looked at him hopefully.

"So that's what you're up to Naruto," Shikamaru said, stepping into the clearing. "I guess I could play, as long as it doesn't become too troubling."

Gaara stood there for a moment. "Sure...I guess."

"Goody, this'll be fun!" Lorelai was beside herself with delight that Gaara had accepted her apology and her invitation to join in the game.

She practically skipped with glee when Shikamaru volunteered to join as well. "Great, we can make a square! Let's see. I'll pass ta Naruto, he'll pass ta Shikamaru, Shikamaru will pass to..." She trailed off and scratched her head as she looked apologetically at Gaara. "Heheh. Um, I know this is gonna sound silly, but.... How do I say yer name?"

It sounded to her as though everyone was pronouncing it "Gotta" but she knew that couldn't be it. She couldn't imagine anyone being named "Gotta".

Neji walked into the ichiraku ramen shop, folding his arms. "I'm hungry." he whined in a self-absorbed way.

"It's pronounced G-are-a," Shika said, leaning against a tree. "You know, you really are quite troublesome for a kunoichi."

Lorelai wasn't sure whether to be confused or hurt by Shikamaru's remark. Unsure where to look, she quietly mumbled, "I don't mean ta be..." She was terribly self-concious about being a bother to anyone and fervently hoped Naruto and Gaara wouldn't agree with Shikamaru.


((I've forgotten what a kunoichi is. sweatdrop ))

"Shikamaru stop being such a jerk. She's probably an awesome kunoichi! How could you know!" Naruto yelled out, not likeing to see people being made fun of.

"So, what happened this time?" Tsunade said, leaning down to look at Kyo, as Lee nervously stood behind her.

Lorelai's grin promtly returned to her face. "Shucks. Thanks, Naruto-chan." She smiled happily and wondered if Naruto had forgotten he was holding the frisby. He hadn't thrown it in a while.

Naruto grinned, scratching the back of his head. "Oh, yeah, we still playing frisby?"

Lorelai giggled and nodded. "Yep, only this time you'll be throwin' it ta Shikamaru if he's still in'rested in playin'."

Naruto looked at Shikamaru, "Well are ya Mr. Cranky?"

he ate a bowl of ramen then left. he didn't even pay, saying that guy sensei would pay for him.
