"Car crash," he replied, "Apparently the other dude fell asleep at the wheel."

"That stinks." She shook her head. "To think I kept you at the daycare center so that wouldn't happen." She shrugged slightly. "I was so worried when your mom called about a family emergency." She mentioned, glad that it was nothing too serious.

He scratched his nose, then winced. "It does stink," he smiled at her, "Sorry to worry you."

"Well atleast you're...semi-ok." Mindy nodded with a half smile.

"My nose'll never be the same," he pouted, crossing his eyes.  

[MandieRae]

"You look funny when you do that." Mindy giggled slightly when he crossed his eyes. "I'm sure it'll be fine." She nodded, though she wasn't sure. She wasn't a doctor.

"Well, I survived," he shrugged.  

[MandieRae]

"I'm glad you did. I don't know what I'd do if my best friend died." She shook her head, not wanting to think about it.

He held his arms out, "I can't die yet!" he smiled, "I'm a rock star!"

Mindy laughed and nodded. "well that's good. When he held his arms out she hugged him.

He hugged her tightly, "I' should've stayed."  

[MandieRae]

"Well I understand not sitting around the daycare for two hours." She shrugged slightly. She sat on the edge of his bed smiling.

He smiled at her, "Yeah, I'm not as good with kids."  

[MandieRae]

Mindy just shrugged. "Well all that matters is your alive and you're ok." She nodded, leaning back so her head was on his chest.

"Yeah," he closed his eyes. "This is nice."
