"it sounds like music?" Drake suggested, irritated at the mood killer. the music was indeed tranquil and beautiful, but it had barged in nevertheless.

Koko once again ended the music and put the flute down. She went to a window that faced towards the street. Pulling back the curtian slightly she looked down at the antique shop and watched for any sign of movement. After a few minutes she wondered over to her small kitchen which wasn't of much use to her. However she kept food and even learned to cook in order to keep up appearences. She could even force down a bit of food if the situation called for it, but it usually made her feel sick afterwards.

"I wonder where it came from." Judith asked once it stopped.

Drake shrugged and settled down again, putting on the new shirt.
"Does it matter? we can't investigate until the sun's gone completely in."
He stretche dout on the floor with his arms behind his head and closed his eyes, determined to snatch at least an hour or two's sleep.
"Come to bed, hmm?"

"Yeah, I will." Judith said and slid her dress back on all the way before laying down next to Drake.

Drake smiled and sighed, putting an arm around her shoulders as she laid down next to him. It wasn't what he had initial wanted, but he had to admit it was kind of nice. It had been so long since he had any proper contact with people. He closed his eyes and settled to zone out into sleep.

Judith snuggled into Drake's arm and was quickly asleep.

Koko opened the door to the freezer of the frig. She pulled out a container in the back that contained a red frozen substance. She then dumped the contents into a pot and allowed it to heat up.

Deer blood soup-that's whats for dinner.

Drake slept, snoring slightly every now and again. It wasn't too long before night descended once again....

While the "soup" heated Koko went and set out food and fresh water for her pets when they returned in the morning. She did a few other household chores too while the "soup" heated on the oven.

She sat in her comfy chair from earlier and folded her laundry. When she finished that she left it on her bed. Her dinner was done heating by the time she returned. She turned the oven down to simmer and then spooned the liquid into a coffee mug. Then she wondered back over the wondow to view the antique shop. She didn't have to be careful this time-the sun had finally set.

Judith slept soundly, not dreaming.

[I can't wait for all three of them to get together. I want to see what happens. ]

Koko finished her supper. She poured the remaining blood back into the container and placed back in the freezer. Then she washed her dishes, and went to brush her teeth. She hated the after taste of blood of any sort. After that she returned to her shop below-forgetting to close her one window above the fire escape. She decided to perform some chores she normally couldn't get done in the daytime which included washing the windows inside and out.

She turned on a dim warm light. Then she grabbed some window cleaner, rags, and a step ladder. She hummed the same melodies from the flute from earlier while she cleaned the in doors. Once done inside she moved to the outside portion. She glanced down at the antique shop, but decided to ignore it while she worked. If she was lucky he would have left already....

Quietly her humming continued while she worked. Her long hair cascaded down her back like a black river and the streetlights seemed to make her darker toned skin have a warm golden glow about it.

Drake's eyes flickered away as the night had completely descended. He could have stayed in this position all night, but already his hunger was edging back. while his stomach was tingling but not in cramp-level yet, still satisfied with his previous kills, his mind had already started skittering about in the search for a hit. furthermore, he was intrigued to investigate this indian woman further, and what made her teenage friend so special.
Slowly and carefully, he eased his arm form underneath judith and flexed hsi fingers free of the pins and needles. he stood up and yawned slightly before edging over to teh door to look out.
