I understand about how much effort backgrounds can be. I can't decide if I want to make a more detailed background for the group mugging picture or leave it simple like that to heighten the humorous cartoonish feel of the picture. *head scratches*

And I know what you mean about the burning out. I always have to ditch my pieces part way through for a while before I can go back and finish them if they're anything more detailed than a sketch >.<
