Katelyn smiled as the cat meowed. Oh man! The kitten was just so cute! Scratching behind the cat's ears she then looked over at the honey brunette male. Smiling even more, she giggled softly before she placed the bag of candy down on the counter and regretfully had to stop petting the cat. Katelyn then flipped her notebook open. Digging in her purse for a marker to write with, she pulled one out and removed the cap.
He is very cute. I was never allowed to have a pet back at home or in my apartment. I'm ready to pay for the bag of candy as well... oh, and would you be able to possibly give me directions? I just moved to the island.
She wrote before showing the male the notebook, it still hadn't clicked to her that he was her former classmate, but then again, it has been five years since they had last seen each other and while the two of them had talked a few times, they didn't see each other too often other than when they shared a class. One would have thought that after five years the girl would have at least started talking a little bit more, but not her. She doubted that she would ever actually talk again, maybe one day, but she didn't think it would be anytime soon. Looking away from the honey blonde male, she started gently petting the cat's ears once more. She loved animals and just couldn't resist petting them!

Sunshiny Day! ║ Married ║ Human║ 21 ║ Sucre's Owner ║ $1171.70
Dime purred away happily to the attention he was getting, earning a look of amusement from Finn. What an attention whore! He got more ladies than anyone he’s ever known. With a curious look as he watched her pull out a notebook and marker, his golden eyes blinked while he watched her write in it and turn it to him. Why did that look so familiar to him? Reading her words, he nodded before smiling up at her, still mentally trying to figure out why the act of writing instead of talking felt so familiar. “Oh sure! Where are you trying to go?” he asked as he walked around the counter. Picking the box up and setting it at his feet so it was out of the way, he began unloading the bag of candy she had stocked for herself as it slowly began to hit him. Stopping at about the fourth package of candy, Finn’s glittering eyes widened as if they would pop out of his head. With lightning fast reflexes, being generally quicker than people with his abilities, he snatched her notebook out of her hands and stared at the paper with her marker written words. No way! Gripping the pad tight, his eyes darted from the page to the woman, and back to the page. It was all starting to come back to him! That girl; what’s her name! He completely forgot her name but he remembered her being a mute and using a notepad to ‘talk’. Was this the same girl?! It couldn’t be! What were the odds? The bewildered man half jumped over the counter to get close enough to get a good look at her face, a look of concentration on his face. It wasn’t. I couldn’t. What were the odds? While he couldn’t remember her name to save his life, the better look he was getting, mere inches from her face, helped him determine that she did look like an older version of that girl. “Did you go to Koizora?” he asked slowly, giving her a suspicious look.
OOC; I totally forgot to ask, since you were never specific, what candies did Katelyn buy. That way Finn can give the proper total

The male's curious look hadn't gone unnoticed to Katelyn, but she welcomed curious looks over rude comments any day. After she had shown the male what she had written, she then looked at his face and smiled as he said he would give her directions. Well, that was a bit of a surprising relief! Maybe this place would be like high school and the people here would actually be a bit more accepting of her unwillingness to speak. Smiling a little bit as he moved the box and started getting a price for her for the candy, she started writing again.
Thank you so much! Well, I'm looking to go to a few places actually. The first place being somewhere I
She was concentrated on writing before she gave a startled yelp as her notebook was suddenly pulled from her hands, the young woman felt a stinging pain as she got a small paper cut on the palm of the hand that had been holding the notebook. Blinking in surprise, the young woman looked at the man with a look of surprise and confusion. Why had he ripped her notebook away from her! He wasn't going to taunt her and try and get her to speak was he? He had seemed like such a nice person... The confused brunette then took a step back as he practically leaped over the counter. Now she was feeling just a little scared. What the heck was up with this guy? Her heart was beating faster as she kept her eyes locked on him, taking just a small step back as he got uncomfortably close to her face. Her bright blue eyes stared into his golden ones before she blinked once. All it took was for him to say Koizora and it suddenly hit her like a ton of bricks as she suddenly knew who he was. The surprised young woman then nodded her head a little bit. There was no way! What were the odds that she would bump into someone from Koizora again! She now felt a bit stupid that she hadn't recognized him earlier, but she wasn't that good at clearly remembering faces unless she had seen them often.
⋮ OOC ⋮ Ahh, I forgot to mention that. >-< She got 3 rock candies, a chocolate bar, a gummy candy, and some hard candy.

Katelyn blinked in surprise as she stared at the male, a smile slowly spreading across her face as she gave him a notebook, nodding a little bit so he could know that she didn't mind. Watching him curiously, she then dug around in her purse before handing him the money that she owed him. The girl looked at the bag before she looked at Finn again and nodded her head. Uncapping her marker again, she started writing before she paused a moment and tilted her head a little bit as she looked at him curiously. When he asked if she would excuse him for a moment, the young woman then smiled and nodded her head. If he had important phone call, she wouldn't mind waiting a little bit. While she waited for him to get back though, she decided to write her questions out for the male.
Yeah. I was trying to find a place to eat. I am starving. Also do you know how to get to 1117 Etoile? And possibly a place to rent a room... just in case my home isn't livable yet..
Setting her notebook down, she then sighed softly, wondering how long Finn would be. She then glanced over at the cat and smiled a little, reaching her hand out, she then gently brushed her fingers through the feline's soft fur.

Sunshiny Day! ║ Married ║ Human║ 21 ║ Sucre's Owner ║ $1171.70
It wasn’t long after his texting that his phone began to to ring and caught the work brunette off guard. Holt shi- Finn juggled the device in his hands as it rang and rang, dropping it in the end anyways and having the ringing stop. Crap! Crouching down to pick up his phone, screen cracked but otherwise workable, he saw the missed call was from Bree and now he had a voicemail. That was fast. Testing out his slightly broken phone, he listened to her voicemail as she prattled on and on and his anxiety began to get the better of him. At least she was okay but Ty was hit by a car?! Just as the message ended, before he could even pull the phone from his ear, his message alert went off in his ear. “ACK!” he shouted in surprise and quickly tore the device from his face, rubbing his ringing ear. Looking at the message, he assumed her ‘house guest’ was Ty. He was okay with that, still, a little more of a warning would have been nice. Well, he supposed this was the warning. Welp, he needed to get home now! His brother was hit by a car and he was staying over, which meant he and Bree would be taking care of the man as long as he was at their house.
Walking back out into the main part of the store, Finn came up to the counter and placed her money in the register. “I really sorry, I have to close up shop right now. I’ll point you where you need to go but as we’re leaving,” he sighed as he picked up Dime and ushered the girl out of the store. “So, there’s plenty of places to eat around here, but most are sit down diner kind of places. If you want something quick, Cerise district is backtracking but it has a fast food place for you.” Closing the door behind them, he locked up the store and turned back around as he adjusted his cat against his chest and made his way towards his bike. “You’re gonna wanna head towards the beach since Etoile is along the beachside, which is just down the street a few more blocks,” he said pointing towards the direction of the beach. “Uh...Here,” he said as he gently took her marker and scribbled down his name and number. “Text me if you get lost or need anything else. It was nice seeing you again!” Putting on his helmet and making sure Dime was secure, Finn started his bike and peeled away from the shop.

♬♪♬Melpomene Zamir♬♪♬
The Lovely Revenant
❊♩❊♩❊♩❊♩❊♩❊♩❊♩❊♩❊♩❊♩❊♩❊♩❊♩❊♩❊♩❊
(Enter) Such sweet silence. This place that Melpomene would be working had such a kind, unspoken greeting for her. She could not lay eyes on it, or what was inside, but her the senses she retained allowed her to understand that which was unspoken. There was a smile on her face, though her eyes were closed. She looked rather serene. Pulling the keys from a pouch on her back she would unlock the store she felt around for the whole in which it was to go, unlocking it, ready to start a new day, in this new place. She floated inside, and was greeted by the sweet smells of the things inside. Her harm was on her back, it would never leave her side, for without it she truly had no voice, no presence. Once inside she shut the door and began to float around, pulling Nightingale from her back and gently moving her fingers across the stream. The waves of sound traveling through the store, the colors coming to life, though her purpose in its use was to let the sound hit everything in the store. It was small and homely, and this is what she liked the most about it. When she got the job, she sculpted the sounds of the shop so she could navigate around it, and know what everything was. She had given the candy a silent sound, a sweet song no one would ever notice unless they could see the waves they produced. It at least helped her take stock over the shop as her blindness prevented her from doing any job like a normal person, but she tried her best not to let it interfere with either her unlife, or others lives. She was glad she was hired despite this, and intended to make up the owners kindness ten-thousand fold in anyway possible. Not many people would take a chance on her, but they were kind enough to let her attempt it, and if she was let go she would understand perfectly. Once she had taken stock of everything in the store she took a seat next to the counter, Nightingale sitting gently in her lap. With a slight breath she began to play a sweet, simple Melody and focused, using her projection to make it louder, it could be heard outside the store, as if there was some sort of radio, but not too loud. Inside the store it would be a bit quieter, but still heard. Her ability to manipulate music making it possible. She waited for people to come into the store so she could help if they wanted something. Hoping they would not mind her muteness.

Atticus can't say that his conversation with Shiori yesterday was delightful, but at least she didn't attempt to do something like she did during their high school years together, for now at least. He doesn't want to assume that she is going to do something bad, but considering her track record, it's difficult to give her a fair chance. Still, he wanted to make an honest effort for her and talk to Setsu about inviting her to the wedding. At the end of the day she is family and deserves to be there in support of her sister's big day, but that decision he must leave to his bride-to-be. All he can do is bring up the topic and await her answer. However, as a part of his attempt, he wanted to see if satisfying her sweet tooth will increase the chance of her inviting Shiori. As he made his way to Sucre Refinement, his ears caught the sound of a skilled harpist playing a beautiful composition. Melodic, casual, pleasant to the ears to create that calming environment and strangely motherly. He isn't sure if this is a composition that he has heard of before or if it's an original work by whoever the harpist is, but he had to see who was behind playing such beautiful music. Fortunately the source is coming from the same candy store that he intended on visiting. When he entered the store, the sound became quieter. How strange but his curiosity leaned toward the music more. Turning his head toward the counter, he found the harpist playing the melody. With a friendly grin he approached her and said,
"Quite the beautiful melody you're playing. Not something you hear often in an establishment like this but I appreciate the calming effect it produces. Might this be an original work belonging to you?"
...everything that I can feel.
