Lucas entered the shimmering starfish with his hands in his pockets. His first subject was boring him at this point and he was hungry for more prey. His dull eyes scanned the people around him before stopping on a woman who greeted him. Probably an employee or maybe even the owner of the establishment. When the woman asked if he wanted anything to drink, Lucas simply shook his head. He didn't want to cause to much attention to himself, getting in and out without being noticed was always his ideal kidnapping. The male sat down at the bar and placed his hand down on the cool surface, letting his fingers drum across it for a few moments. The place was pretty empty, it felt almost deserted. He figured the best target here would be the employee. Lucas scanned the bar for cameras or wandering eyes, fortunately he found none. All he had to do was wait until she secluded herself. He propped his elbow up onto the counter and patiently waited.
Minutes later it seemed like the woman was making her way to the back of the establishment to grab more drinks. His dull expression warped into a devious grin. It was like she was inviting him to be taken. Lucas pushed himself off of the seat and made his way towards the back. He made sure to be as quiet as possible, pushing open the door silently. His dark eyes watched as the woman began searching for drinks. Lucas pulled out his rag, still wet with Chloroform. He stepped forward softly before grabbing the woman by the waist. She seemed to immediately react, swinging frantically and trying to attack him with a bottle. Lucas pressed the rag against her face, it was only a few more moments of struggle before his target was subdued. Once she was under, Lucas gently picked her up and searched around. He couldn't just exit through the front door, he needed a new way out. He continued to search around before spotting a back door. Lucas made his way to the back door and quickly exited without making a sound.

She slipped back, the bottle of vodka in her hands sliding from the base to the neck while her fingers gripped around it. Her opposite hand grabbed on to the metal frame, pulling her small, pregnant figure back up. Her amethyst eyes flickered upward to find the same man that had sat down at the bar, eliciting confusion to line along her face. His hand met her dressed waist and she let out a rather loud, "HEY." Instantly she backed away, pushing herself up as far as she could against the bottles. "What are you-" They jiggled in their space, glass clashing against glass. Without taking her eyes off of him and only turning her head to the side, she smashed the base of the bottle she held against the hardest part next to her. Glass split through the air, just barely missing her thighs before shattering to the ground. The smell of alcohol illuminated the inside of the walk-in fridge like bright lights in a small room. Her nostrils flared - and she couldn't even feel the regret as it stung her currently sensitive nose. Panic and adrenaline coursed through her veins, sending her shaky limbs in a fritz to beat away her attacker.
The dripping edge of the cut bottle was flung at his arm, hoping that she at least managed a scratch on any part of his torso. She lashed back again - gritting her teeth. There was no water in here. She was left practically defenseless unless she could beat him off. But in the one moment that she stumbled forward, her boot slipping along the now wet and frozen bottom of the fridge floor, he pushed forward. Her eyes caught a glimpse of a white cloth, pressed to her baby doll lips without her consent. She could see her attackers face, but it faded in to black, her eyes closing as her eyelashes fluttered against her cheek. One last drifted off scream and she was out, falling limp against his body. The bottle clanged to the ground, rolling back towards the rack she had chosen to receive the new one from. As quick as she had entered the fridge, she was out, leaving her mess and what belongings she had at the bar. The man pushed through the back exit, avoiding any and all other staff she had on, and carried her off with all hopes of keeping her gone.

"Can you wait for me here? I so t be longer than a few minutes." Ty asked the driver as they pulled up to the familiar bar front. When the man agreed the wolf climbed out of the vehicle and made his way through the snow. The bell above the door rang and he was greeted by staff, at whom he smiled politely as he nestled himself beside a far stool. "Aubrey show up this morning?" He asked, hand rested against his side where he was aching a little. He was assuming all the unlikely 'what ifs' we're all happening at the same time, just to be safe. Finn had come and gotten Aubrey from the bar, the two were at home straightening things out or whatever, and after his little event in the beach she was avoiding him in the slightest. She was okay, and that's all he needed to know at the moment. Instead he was informed Aubrey's stuff was here, but not she herself. His brows furrowed and he pushed his hair back. "Here, I'll take it." He offered, also assuming it would be as well known who he is here as it was as well known who Aubrey was down at his place.
The wolf hung the brunet's purse off his crutch and touched the home button on the woman's phone. His messages were amongst others on the screen, unchecked since they'd all been sent. Ty's brows furrowed now. She would've sent Finn back for her phone, right? Or come back for it herself. Her purse too, all of which contained her credit card and id. Sealing his lips together, the wolf thought to attempt Finn again. No, not yet. The author was just paranoid, bothered by the stacking evidence; still, he needed to keep a level head. "She's at home without her stuff, fine." Better than thinking he'd gone ignored or she was.... Scolding himself mentally for being such a worrier, the wolf went as far as peeking into her office before ducking out of the room again. He knew for sure she'd been here two days ago when she said she would. It wasn't like she was mugged and left for dead on the way here, if they were a possibility at all; this was a low crime area, even with the drunks who'd be going in and out of the bar. So he should check at her home next, drop off her things and relieve himself to see here there.
Waving goodbye to th employees, the bluenet let himself out and hobbled to his taxi, sitting forward to give the directions to their next destination.

Tyrese paid off the taxi driver as he arrived back at the bar, limping under street lights on his way inside and dodging a few drunkards who were too inebriated to avoid him. The bar was full and Christmas music was playing overhead, the wolf's brows only furrowed at the mood as he waved to whomever was working the night shift and let himself into the back. He never cared much for that scene anyway, sloppy and ramboucious was never his style. Instead all he wanted, rather than doing this, was to be cramped up at his place again where everyone was there. Where was Aubrey? Dammit. Ty sighed, putting her purse down in her office and grabbing water to guzzle pain meds down with. He had been feeling numb throughout the day but now he couldn't take another step forward. He only huffed, turning to the camera systems and hoping they were like his. If they didn't work the same way, then he was screwed.
Most places only kept footage for twenty-four hours, but Tyrese was praying otherwise here. He was hoping to see when Aubrey left after her check in, not that it would help know where she left to. His fingers repeatedly brushed over his lips as he clicked here and there, and sorted through several cameras worth of footage as far back as they'd go. They were filed by date, and the file from three days ago was still there. The first relieved sigh all day. Playing the file and fast forwarding until a set of brown curls bounced through the doors, Tyrese found what he was looking for. Quickly he pressed stop, then play, and leaned forward to see as much as he could. The time stamp stood in white numbers on the bottom left corner, about half an hour after she'd text him that day. Like he already knew, she'd gotten here safely. Barely anyone was there with her as she walked behind the counter and rifled around with things.
Someone came in, a big guy with black hair, and Aubrey disappeared in the back. She'd already let the last employee go and was there by herself. The author began to lean back, and froze as the customer whom had walked in after the brunet disappeared behind the employee only doors just like she had. Was she interviewing him for an open position? He wondered, and waited, looking at the other cameras for one of them to reappear. A few minutes passed, and he impatiently began to fast forward again. Minutes quickly became an hour, then hours, without Aubrey or the man reappearing. What? Ty carefully rewound in case he'd missed something in his impatience. Nothing else appeared on the tape, the customers from the front eventually wandered away and the next person on shift wondered in. But no Aubrey. Her stuff remained until he'd gotten it this morning.
H-....Had something happened between her and that guy? Ty hadn't seen his face through the camera angle he'd watched from, he'r only seen his build and the ******** color of his hair. He had a bad feeling, a growl crawling through his lips as he shifted through as much other footage as was available. This wasn't...he wasn't convinced she went home with him. She didn't know him, or did she? His instincts didn't lead him to believe so. Chewing his lip, the wolf grabbed eveythubg he'd come in with and walked out of the room. Her scent wasn't in her office, she hadn't gone back there when he followed. There were so many scents here it was hard to tell where she...they did go. He peeked in every room, even th bathrooms, and finally wondered into the freezer. Mostly clean, but stinking of spilled alcohol. Several broken bottles rolled under shelves and...Ty sighed. Did this even mean anything? None of this felt right.

The redhead was promptly tugged along as the three walked, although he wasn't about to argue about it. Walking down the familiar streets was a bit of a nostalgia trip, considering just how different his life had become in two short months. If things were like before he'd be out on the streets flirting with some random stranger to get a free meal and a good night's rest. He chuckled to himself, how things have changed over the small amount of time. He had Sarah to thank for that, whether he wanted to admit it or not she was changing Leon and probably for the better. I wonder how much time I have left... the thought danced in his head for a mere moment before being swiftly shaken off. This was no time for depressing thoughts! He was helping an acquaintance, no need to get all sad and mopey now. The man swiftly followed Sarah through the glass doors, slipping his hand away from hers as he scouted out the building. He walked behind the counters, giving a half assed wave to the other employees whom he assumed thought he was Leon. He continued his search into the back room, not saying anything as he passed by a few staff. A few minutes of scrounging about came to the decisive conclusion that the boss wasn't here. Leo made his way back to the front of the establishment, his sharp gaze falling onto Sarah. "No luck....Seems she's out." He said as he walked up to the woman. His hand casually slid around her waist, pulling the blonde to his side, still feeling a bit protective. His yellow eyes shifted over to the bluenette they had decided to help, watching his expressions. "Sorry this endeavor turned up sour... But if I see her I'll make sure to let you know." He said casually, not exactly sure how to make the awkward situation any easier.
Real love is the love that sometimes arises after sensual pleasure; if it does, it is immortal: the other kind inevitably goes stale, for it lies in mere fantasy.

The walk from the Etoile district to The Shimmering Starfish had been sweet and short; hardly allowing for the cool winter sun to penetrate her protruding bare shoulder. Her sweater shifted over her wrist, confining the ivory skin beneath, as she continued to gently tug at Leo's hand. It wasn't as if he were new to the scene - she didn't doubt he'd seen the bar multiple times while making his rounds in Downtown Soleil not long before the Halloween festival. Leo had been the prime achiever of keeping them alive as far as she could tell, and even though he more than likely wouldn't admit it, it wouldn't come off as a surprise if he had started in the bar scene once moving here. Yet oddly enough, it didn't disgust her. It was a requirement, just as it was for humans to digest food when it came right down to it. She had watched him light up before her at their first time; shoving her hips back onto the kitchen counter. She could hardly see past her glazed vision, focused then on giving Leon anything he wanted. She exhaled a cool breath and pulled the glass door to the bar open, letting herself in and for the boys to follow. It seemed rather empty, the occasional staff member peeking out around the corner from the kitchen door in order to see who was around, but nothing much more than that. She didn't blame it, it wasn't exactly a late night, nor a Friday or Saturday. In fact, she failed to see much of a crowd around high noon in the first place.
She turned her foot to glance back at the blue haired boy, gesturing with her grey, owl-like irises. Just as they had given before, there didn't seem to be even the slightest lick of the curly haired brunette within the confines of the restaurant. There was no uproar of their names being called, no violet eyes to penetrate her being and search for any possible mental, physical, or emotional problem before she'd flash a toothy white grin their way and ask what they want to drink. Only... The soft portraying of music above in the speakers. However, she wasn't too concerned. It was only a few days after Christmas, and the woman may very well be out of town visiting family. She had, as far as she was concerned, a husband that had been out on the road apparently. She remembered instantly needing to analyze the ring on her finger, absently watching it as Bree spoke. I actually used to be a teacher. She could remember watching her expertly polish glasses. But I was a bartender before that. She shrugged. I guess it never left me when it came right down to it. There was a small sigh and she was brought back to reality. "I know it can't be much given your current situation, Max." She watched his movements. "Though I highly doubt she'd leave. She has a persistence over this place." She looked over the details again, then up to Leo for any further comments.

Michiru got up that morning cuddled up next to patrick , for it was cold that night and in his sleep he had reached out for warmth. His eyes opened slowly, and he pulled himself away gently from Patrick and getting out of bed. He slid on his tight skinny jeans and his over-sized jacket, and stealing scarf from Patrick's closet, hoping he wouldn't mind. He walked out of the bedroom and into the kitchen, where he found a notepad and pen, and wrote a little note for him. " Going for a walk and to get coffee i'll be back soon , don't worry i'll be careful - Chiru "
and with that he left Patrick's house and headed down the street towards a little cafe shop he remembered when he first visited this town. It didn't take him to long to get there, only about an hour before he arrived across the street. Stepping off the curb, his small frame with over-sized jacket unzipped with a scarf hanging around his neck with the attempt of hiding the scars, even though it didn't hide them all. His hair mostly covered the largest of the scars on his right eye as he went to reach for the door to the cafe / diner.

Ansel had been so focused on a story covering an old homicide involving his last victim that he didn't didn't even notice the Raven-haired boy sit at the table next to him. Gripping the newspaper tightly, Ansel felt as if he were in a dream. His attention elsewhere, not even the heat from the cigar burning his lips from the lack of oxygen was enough to bring him out of his daze. It wasn't until the waitress's gasp did he then realize what was happening and he quickly put out the bud. Or what had been left of it; his lip stinging at the touch. Setting down his newspaper, he exhaled and motioned for the frightened waitress to bring him some ice. To him, this was nothing that couldn't be fixed. Flesh was flesh and like everything, it would heal with time. What a boring way to start off the morning. He couldn't enjoy his coffee like in this condition. Ansel would wait for his ice and then leave, yes, that was the ideal thing to do.

Entering the diner he looked around for a moment as he went to take a seat, not noticing who he sat next to or what he was doing. ...this is a nice little spot...it'd be nice to come here with Patrick and Roy some... his thought was interrupted by the gasp of a waitress who stood at the table next to his. Michiru's eyes turned see a rather burnt lip as a man put out his cigar. Normally he wouldn't pay to much mind, he had seen many a person get lost in thought and injure themselves in the process, but this was different. Chiru's head tilted in curiosity...for he could not get a read on this man. It was a weird feeling he felt, knowing he was usually pretty good at getting a read. He couldn't even hear any distaste or anger...or even sadness or aloofness in his voice... He didn't hear...anything... which was very intriguing to the boy as his purple hues gazed through his raven hair at the man continuously. He watched with only curiosity, with no judgement in his eyes. Chiru's purple eyes had not held judgement in them for a very long time. Caught up in the situation, as well as the man's looks , he even forgot to order his coffee.

Ansel had been anxiously awaiting the arrival of his water when he had caught sight of a young male with dark hair staring at him. The boy was slender around the shoulders and had feminine features, something Ansel found rather attractive, or in simpler terms, cute. Wanting to get a reaction from the male, Ansel gave the boy a playful smirk and followed it up with a wink. Just wanting to see him react and squirm got his heart pumping.
