Captain Verd Shikalee Can't argue with that, now can we? Wow, really? Because to me, it kind of looks like... you did! Dude. You misunderstood that? You are really reaching a level of idiocy that I cannot believe. By "WE" I meant "YOU." Just stop before you look like a complete and utter retard. I'm sure that you aren't. So stop it.

Verd isn't the one looking like a retard here. Shikalee Can't argue with that, now can we? Shikalee I never said you couldn't. I just said it would be idiotic. Your words were: "Can't argue with that". Then you said you never said that. How are you not getting this?

You just can't say it's invalid if it is perfectly valid. I seriously thought she was talking about something else. See? You guys are wearing me out enough to totally miss something that blatantly obvious. Since no one else is going to stop, I will. I need a break. In fact, screw breaks. We should just stop this because it's getting nowhere.

No, I was just saying that to see if you'd say, "Good" or "Thank you for leaving." Popular vote of users want me to stay. It's the minority that dislikes me here.

Shikalee mofoslotmachine Shikalee Then you both misinterpreted my statement, which was poor on both your part. My point was, she said she could do it better, and I said I seriously doubt she could. "If I was writing it..." Or something along those lines. I'd like to see her pull off a good story, and fill in character concepts plus visual aide. When did she say she could write it better? Have any idea what thread it was in? It was so off topic I can't find it. Alright, I found the thread in question and followed it back, and attilathefun didn't say anything about writing it herself. She said that Kishimoto, as the writer, is in control of the story and could change things, then this exchange happened (I've snipped a lot of unneccesary stuff out): Shikalee Captain Verd In response to what you said to Attila, we shouldn't have to come up with situations where Ino or Chouji could defeat Hidan. What she's trying to say is that Kishimoto made Hidan in such a way that only Shikamaru would be able to do anything against him. Not only is he molding the situation so Ino and Chouji are in the background, he gave Hidan and Kakuzu skills that would cause Shikamaru to be the number one man in the situation. I don't see why you guys find a need to complain. Kishimoto made a choice for it to be the way HE wanted it to be. I wouldn't have liked it any different, because it wouldn't have been his story. It would've been yours or the other people here. And I am pretty damn sure you guys can't write like Kishimoto does. So no, nobody made any comparisons between themselves and Kishimoto but you. That's why your response was ridiculous and that's why attilathefun pointed out that ridiculousness rather than responding properly.

I am CERTAIN she said something along those lines. D: Where the hell did you get that from? I never compared myself to Kishimoto. Now you're just arguing with me to argue again. Let's just drop it. You made your point.

As in you compared us to Kishimoto, not that you compared yourself to him.

Captain Verd No one made any comparisons to Kishimoto but you. As in you compared us to Kishimoto, not that you compared yourself to him. Oh. Then let me work this out since obviously I was too vague. Quote: I don't see why you guys find a need to complain. Kishimoto made a choice for it to be the way HE wanted it to be. I wouldn't have liked it any different, because it wouldn't have been his story. It would've been yours or the other people here. And I am pretty damn sure you guys can't write like Kishimoto does. This meaning that if anyone else wrote it, it would not be the same story. The last part was not critiquing their ABILITY to write, it was critiquing their writing STYLE, because people write differently. It's fact. Check and mate, goddamn it. D:< Now all of you need to stop throwing a fit! "BOO HOO SHE SAID WE DON'T WRITE GOOD." Get over it. That wasn't even what I said.

That was my point -- you brought up writing the story ourselves while we were discussing Kishimoto writing it differently. It wasn't anything to do with the original argument. Check and mate, or something.

There are a lot of replies in between. Please, see for yourself and then admit that you posted it with no provocation. smile
