Sogue leaped up onto Vehemoth's shoulders, feeling somewhat foolish. He rotated his head, then slapped his shoulder.
"That way! Carve a path!"
Sogue lept down, preparing to follow in the wake of Vehemoth's onslaught.
He felt himself missing Helena. Not only could he use her skills now, but it would be nice to have her nearby, somehow...

((yeah it would be cool to have her now, hint hint))
Vehemoth over turned his blade and stuck a violent wind that meant disaster for 50 yards in the direction Sogue pointed. Vehemoth started off into a run. he kept his shoulders low, ready to tackle anything that got in his way. he moved like a train connected to the earth as roots reached out from the ground to hold and balance his run and then breaking off every time he lifted his legs. The giant pushed on waiting for another order.
"this is some work out, what’s the purpose"

Helena sat in a small courtyard near the edge of the city, close enough to see the battle, but still too far to help. She hated just sitting there, sulking and waiting for Sogue to come back. It looked like it was going to be a long time. Finally, she sighed and stood up. She was going to help Sogue. She gathered all of her weapons and set off at top speed. As she grew closer to the fray, she began her search for that blonde head that was so familiar to her. "Sogue!" she shouted, her eyes still scanning the battle.

Helena sat in a small courtyard near the edge of the city, close enough to see the battle, but still too far to help. She hated just sitting there, sulking and waiting for Sogue to come back. It looked like it was going to be a long time. Finally, she sighed and stood up. She was going to help Sogue. She gathered all of her weapons and set off at top speed. As she grew closer to the fray, she began her search for that blonde head that was so familiar to her. "Sogue!" she shouted, her eyes still scanning the battle.

as you ran on and your eyes scanned the surroundings you came to find just that. His blonde hair sitting upon a large giant moving very fast and towards a wall of enemies.

Sogue wrapped his legs around Vehemot's massive head. He sheated his weapons and started shooting rounds into the enemies who started to get a bit too couragous and were thinking about getting in the duo's way.
"We're going to stop some siege towers. They would mean the end of the castle if they get to them."

Sogue wrapped his legs around Vehemot's massive head. He sheated his weapons and started shooting rounds into the enemies who started to get a bit too couragous and were thinking about getting in the duo's way.
"We're going to stop some siege towers. They would mean the end of the castle if they get to them."

"Got it little mind" Vehemoth said thinking up a way to succeed this. Once he was close enough Vehemoth tossed his huge sword into the body of the siege gun blasting away. he side stepped and then rolled over to dodge the wave of heat blasting forward at them. Once it was evaded Vehemoth tossed himself high into the air and lifted himself even higher by flipping. He was so high now that you lost sight of the enemies below, everything blurred together. Vehemoth then began to fall on the down side of his plunge. he kept a crutched stance as if ready to grab on to something. Then he landed square on top of the siege machine and kicked its stand from beneath it while springing his sword form out of its side, spinning around hard and then splitting the top of the cannon right off. The back fire caught and let the whole end of the thing into explosions.
"i call that a lucky, BG pull off there" Vehemoth yelled over to Sogue who was still grasping on.
"Now what"

She ran toward Sogue, elated to see him. He seemed very busy with whatever he was doing. Helena started fighting the nearby Shades. She gracefully spun out her knives and stabbed a Shade through the throat, then flipped around, grabbed another by the arm and gutted him straight through. She took a break to check on how Sogue was doing, then immediately turned slash another Shade across the chest.

"Don't kill all of them, we need them to destroy the towers!"
After landing Sogue sprinted toward the next nearest catapault.

"Don't kill all of them, we need them to destroy the towers!"
After landing Sogue sprinted toward the next nearest catapault.

"Hold up there you little grunt." vehemoth said grabing a hold of Sogue's shirt and turning him to look at the woman calling to him.
"what about this lady. it would be a shame if she got hurt."

Sogue's eyes widened.
"That girl, i swear," he breathed..."She's gonna get herself killed."
Secretly though, he was glad she was there. It almost made his spirits soar. And it would've if not for the battle raging around him.
Suddenly, a Shade approached her from behind, slashing her across the back.
The wound didn't look bad, but Sogue's eyes grew to slants anyway.
"Let me down Vehemoth," he whispered, "I have a Vampire to save."  

[Arthien]

Helena gasped at the slash across her back. It didn't seem too deep, but it stung horribly. She quickly spun around and slashed the Shade that had attacked her across the stomach. As she saw Sogue approaching, she smiled inspite of the burning on her back. The pain lessened quickly to nothing more than a twinge and Helena whipped around just in time to grab a Shade by the throat and gut him with her knife.

Suddenly a Shade next to Helena was decapitated cleanly. As his body crumpled to the ground, Sogue emerged from behind it.
He moved quickly, back to back with Helena.
"Hello dear," he whispered, "see yonder towers? Yeah. We're gonna hijack those cannons and shoot the towers with them. Vehemoth is gonna help. He's the big guy killing Shades wholesale. Now, chop chop."  

[Arthien]

"Oo, cannons. I love explosions. But I'm having fun gutting Shades," Helena pouted. Seeing a teeny break in the onslaught of Shades she whipped around in front of Sogue and gave him a quick kiss on the lips. "And hello to you too." Then, she jumped back behind Sogue and disarmed, literally, a Shade right before slashing his throat.

Sogue knocked a Shade to the ground with his shoulder, then turned to Helena.
"Come now, let's not dilly-dally." He turned to run back to Vehemoth.
The pair eventually cought up to the massive man with the huge blade. He was slicing Shades like they were made of butter.
"Vehemoth!" Sogue shouted.
"The Cavalry has arrived!"  

[Arthien]

Helena craned her neck to look at Vehemoth's face. "Um, you're really big," she said. She had never interacted with anything bigger than a Shade, and they weren't very big compared to this guy. She looked over at Sogue with wide eyes.  

[Joa-Boo]

Vehemoth's laughter cut through the evil scene unraveling. he droped his fist to load the girl and Sogue and gently pressed them to his shoulder as he sprinted fro the next cannon. It shot aftre them nearly taking off his arm with the intense heat.
"Ay this isn't a joy ride, what ever you can do to help, get to it." Vehemoth raoed dashing to the side out of the way of another fire.
