I'll be wearing it at a formal evening thing on wednesday, so I'll try to get some photos then. smile I've never done much like this before, but since december I've made two dresses, a top and a winter coat. And I've fixed loads of old clothes and things I've bought second hand. I love making things that are actually functional... whee

Saffrin cannot sew. Or speak it first person eitherm it seems.
My mum is a wiz at sewing though. Me, the only way my lines/seams/whatever end up straight is if I'm aiming to do it crookedly. <<

sorry i can't its way to embarrasing redface its really a cross between a fashoin show and dance show and its a laugh but i always feel like an idiot after last year i was classical music (my group) and i was wearing a purple gown i'd made and they did our hair like frizzy manes it was very funny but hell to get out xd

That sounds like fun, Wolf! whee
I have to start applying to universities now.. I want to start a Fine Arts BA next year, pretty much anywhere but in Norway. England would be fun! I'll at least apply to Kent Institute of Art and Design in Canterbury. And perhaps Kingston and Central St Martins if they don't demand too much from my portfolio. Any tips on other good British art universities?

No, apply to Rovaniemi's University (there's a faculty of art and design) instead! whee (Naah, just joking wink ) It would funny though to attend the same school, ne? It's located in North-Finland.
I'm going to apply for its graphic design programme.

Haha, that would be fun.. whee Graphic design sounds cool! My birthday present for Riona, who is 22 today. 3nodding heart  I wanted to practise art nouveau borders before starting on a silk paint project involving just that. This took way longer than I thought it would, probably 4-5 hours.. Go and visit Rin's birthday thread here.
