Dougal stopped briefly in an open area and looked back at the group who appeared like small dots in the sky. He knew they were probably slowed down some by the extra weight of their passagers but he was going to finally have a chance for fun. Especially if it involved teasing Adam.

"What's the matter old man? Your age finally catching up to you?" he hollared back with a grin. Then he waved and was off again.....

Adam laughed.
"Little kids are always faster when they eat too much sugar!" he called after him

"Poor little archdemon
Worn out from the ages.
Can't keep up
With the youth of the present,"

Dougal taunted back with rhyme in a sing-song manner.

((He has to rhyme once in a while since he did it so much at the beginning..... ^_^'))

Niaro tried to ignore the pain and the blood was dropping a bit on the ground and she looked at the palace of hell. She felt so ashamed that he had to carry her. She felt how weak she was showing herself to him and it bothered her a lot. Maybe Lucifer was right about all the dangerous things in hell. She just felt how her fear grows inside her and she really didn't want to go back like that. She could not understand why he saved her so many time and was worried about her so much. She really didn't understand it. The pain reminded her and tears were falling down on her blue eye and marks on her hands were getting deep as she was holding the goblet with blood. She thought that the blood had some kind of power. She looked at the palace again and then felt how she was getting terrified.

Lilith laughed as she watched the ground underneath her. She made sure she had a tight grip on her staff to avoid dropping it.
"Do you think someone would die if I dropped this on them?" She called to Natasha and laughed again.

Mestopheles felt how Niaro grew rigid in hsi arms as they approached the palace, and didn't now what exactly she was araid of. was it Lucifer? or him? or hell? Or teh goblet? he carrie dher through the threshold and found Lucifer.
"My Lord, we were successful." he said, bowing and placing Niaro grently on the floor. Lucifer looked at both of them and nodded.

Natasha laughed, though it sounded like she was somewhere between exhilerated and enjoying herself and flat-out terrified.
"Probably."

Gabriel did a little loop-di-loop in the air and swept down lower in the sky. The landscape had visibly changed, and they were certianly getting nearer.

Dougal came to a hault-thinking surely he had to be in Central Africa now. He plopped down on the ground to catch his breath-now he just had to wait a moment for the others to arrive.

Seeing that Dougal had stopped, Adam took great enjoyment in flying over him and called back.
"Hey - we're in egypt dumbass! Don't you now your geography."

Gabrel laughed, more at Adam's insistance on teasing Dougal than on Dougal's stopping. As if to prove his point, Adam swerved off to head for the valley of kings to show Dougal some pyramids.

Dougal remained on the ground a moment longer then unwilling got back up and started running again. "Bite me old man!" he shouted then realizing he probably only brought on more teasing. He remained at a slower pace now-lingering under the shadows of the flyers. "And what are you laughing about angel-boy?"

Passing the sight of Egypt Dougal felt a bit awestruck.

Adam laughed. "You'd like that, wouldn't you?"

Gabriel swept down briefly so he was only just above Dougal's head.
"My apologies, dear sir." he sauid with light-hearted sarcasm and laughed agian.

Sin - who remianed in the air- simply rolled her eyes, although watched the pyramids with silent excitement. Already, in just one flight she had seen more of Eart than she ever had done. It was beautiful.

Dougal went red in the face and mumbled...

"....stupid dirty old man......bubble-headed blonde.....make me their damn target of their jokes and bloody sarcasm...."

He sped up a bit in his pace to work out his tension-and so Adam didn't see that his comment emabarrassed him. He gave an annoyed shout as the image of his first kiss being with Adam popped back into his mind.

The angels laughed as Dougal sped off and shouted. Natasha shouted after him.

"Hey, don't react - they're like little kids, it's exactly what they want!" She then laughed herself and stuck out a tongue at Adam.

(...but he makes such a nice comic relief...hehe)

"That's easier said than done.....especially with that old man," Dougal shouted back towards Natasha. "If he tries anything just smack him!"

Opal meanwhile was silently amused by the interaction among the others.

"Gladly" Natasha said, grinning and clipping Adam around the back of his head. Adam snorted.
"ow."
"See? No funny business." Natasha stuck out a tongue at him. "Don't worry sweetie, I took care of the nasty man for you." she called back to Dougal

Dougal glanced back and blushed at being called 'sweetie' but then at the last part of her phrase it made him sound like a child. "....great....now even the girls are taking jabs at me...." he said in a low tone of voice.

Oh well.... he thought. At least the old man got smacked.
