Eliza looked at him and rose an eyebrow but answered, "Well I met a lot of people while I was gone, why?" She eyed him wondering why he had asked that in the first place.

"Don't get what? Just say what it is," she said rolling her eyes hating how he couldn't simply get to the point. Sometimes Eliza could be so...well stupid.

"Fine, whatever..." Eliza muttered under her breath and stood up stretching a bit. "Why should I rest? I'm not tired," she shook her head and sighed not really liking the idea of him telling her what to do..ro suggesting for that matter. She walked away from the table and toward the door to get fresh air.

"You looked a little weary so I asked, but I guess my concern isn't what you want," Nix spoke clearly as though he wanted her to get angry and hit him. He felt bad about not knowing the burden she carried and all that she had gone through, so he wanted her to hit him. He wanted an indirect punishment for being so foolish.

Eliza sighed and rubbed her eyes then paused at the door. She looked at Nix knowing, feeling what it is he was trying to do. In the end it simply made her frown. "Now...why would you say something like that?"

"Hahah, Guess it's tough to trick you. Well, I'll say it straight," Nix walked over to Eliza and kneeled onto his left knee with his face held up to look at her, "Strike me, with all your heart."

Eliza looked at him as if he'd gone mad, "Why would I do that? Have you got some screws loose in that head of yours?" She shook her head and tried to understand why he was doing this, this certainly was not helping. If he wished for her to strike him, he'd have to really make her mad. He'd have to push her buttons.

"..." Nix was slowly becoming irritated toward the passiveness Eliza was showing at the moment, and decided to pull a move he was sure to work, "Fine."
He sat the egg on the bed and went over to Eliza, where he suddenly kissed her and groped her butt. He hoped a violation of personal space would be an appropriate trigger.

Eliza's eyes went wide since she didn't know he'd go this far. She took a step back her back against the door. She then pushed him away and only said, "What are you doing? Why do you want me to hit you so bad?" She grew more irritated then before and the thought of hitting him was pretty good at a time like this, but she tried her best to stay calm and get answers.

Eliza frowned and reached out, grabbing his wrist preventing him from walking away. "I deserve to be punished as much as you...but you don't see me evoking you to hit me because I know you wouldn't. What makes you think I would? Do you really think i'd hurt you?" She frowned more and looked down breaking eye contact. She sighed and let his wrist go, her hand falling back over to her side. "It's bad enough I have to hurt...." She paused and shook her head, "Never mind.."

"No, not nevermind. You should say 'maybe next time', right?" Phoenix smiled at Eliza with a smile that seemed a little relieved, then said, "For some reason, hearing those words made me feel better than if you had actually taken a vengeful strike."
