Loki's mind was more sluggish than it had been before to respond but he still responded with a bit of acknowledgement. Loki forced himself to wake so that he could drink some water. Giving a soft groan when he forced himself awake, it was just as hot when he had fallen asleep. He could feel that he was no longer clothed but there were some whetted clothes across his body. Swallowing the water squeezed into his mouth he pulled away. "Tony..." Loki mumbled his voice raspy and harsh.

Tony kept Loki’s head resting against him as he sensed the god stirring. Petting his hair and rubbing at the base of his horns as the god swallowed the water, he shushed him when Loki pulled away slightly. “I’m right here babe…..We’ll get you out of here soon. I’m going to take care of you.” He murmured soothingly as he brought another wet cloth to his lips. “I need you to drink though….it should help a little.” He continued.

Loki could feel Tony petting his hair and rubbing at the base of his horns in a way that was quite soothing and might have put him back to sleep if not for the headache he quickly discovered. Hearing that he would be gotten out of the heat soon sounded wonderful but he wasn't sure how soon with Odin's decree of him not to be released until the gauntlet had been returned. Giving a nod when Tony insisted he drink by placing the cloth against his lips he felt dizzy but he sucked on the cloth seeking the water. It was cooler than anything else but not by much. The god wanted to bury himself in ice with how warm everything felt. His skin felt too dry and scratchy despite the bits of wet cloth.

Tony could sense how much worse it was getting for Loki and he was beginning to panic inside. He couldn’t let Loki get sick. How was he supposed to help him? He knew nothing about jotuns and very little about medicine. He continued to get Loki to drink little trickles of water as he thought. He was just beginning to truly panic when a guard came to the cell. “In light of the current state of the council and due to Loki’s current health. It has been decided that Loki will be locked in his room for the remainder of his time on Asgard. There will be a full contingent of guards stationed outside at all times. The guards will be here shortly to escort you to the prince’s rooms.” He said stiffly. Tony almost sagged inrelief, but looked to Thor. “I can get Loki to his room. I need you to go get an ice water bath for him, and a few pitchers of ice water as well. He’ll need them as soon as we get there.” He said quickly, slowly laying Loki back down so he could get into his suit again.

Loki's mind tried to sluggishly provide calm to the man whom he could sense panicking. Even with the bits of water Tony was getting him to drink Loki didn't feel better, his body seemed to take the heat worse now that it was awake and soon the god began to feel nauseous. He moved he head away from the cloth with a soft groan just as the guard arrived to tell them of the new arrangements. Loki barely heard any of what was said though as his body tried to shut down on him. He heard Tony's voice but could not make out what he was saying only that he was laying down once more and he just felt worse. Red eyes closed because the light in the cell felt blinding and the heat felt suffocating. Thor nodded and quickly left the cell to do as Tony requested. Loki listened to the footsteps leave and turned his head towards the noise. "Tony..." he whimpered thinking the man had left him.

Tony felt the calm Loki tried to give, but the weakness that came with it only made Tony more anxious. Frowning when Loki turned from the water, he didn’t try to force him. He felt bad after laying Loki down, knowing it did nothing to help the god, but it had to be done. Hearing his name, Tony reached out to brush his cheek. “It’s alright babe. I’m right here.” He murmured before stepping into his suit. Retrieving the thin sheet from the bedding, he laid it over Loki and carefully lifted him up, the sheet hiding all but his head from sight. “We’re going to get you fixed up Lo, and then we’ll figure out how to get you out of this form as soon as possible.” He promised. Cradling him close as a group of guards finally appeared to escort them out of the dungeons. It was all ridiculous to Tony, but he didn’t even try to argue right now.

Loki Gave a breath of relief when Tony pressed a hand to his cheek. Knowing g Tony was there loki promptly forgot about whomever had left the cell. When the sheet was lain over him loki whined as the heat encased itself around his body. But soon he was picked up and even with his stomach lurching he could feel the cool metal of Tony's suit slightly seeping through the sheet. Giving a soft whimper he pressed his face against Tony's armor trying to cool down. Then Tony was moving and loki tried to breath to keep from getting sick.

Tony continued to murmur to Loki as they walked, trying to help him focus on anything but how sick he felt. If it weren’t for the guards, Tony would be running Loki to his room, but they had to walk. By the time they reached Loki’s rooms, the bath was almost done being prepared. Hiving the servants a little glare as he entered, they slipped out quickly, leaving only Thor inside. Carefully pulling the sheet off, Tony approached the rub that had been set up and slowly lowered Loki into the cold water. He was slow about it, making sure not to shock Loki’s body. When he was finally in, head resting against the side, Tony stepped away to remove his armor before getting a cloth and small cup to help him take care of Loki. Using the cup to slowly pour the water into Loki’s hair, he worked it to his scalp again, ignoring the shivers the water sent up his spine. Looking to Thor, he sighed. “I can take care of him for now. I need you to have some plain bread and maybe fruit sent in so I can feed him if he recovers a bit….and then you need to get word to Frigga and Skadi so they might be able to help when they can.” He said slowly. “And help Frigga finish whatever is going on. I don’t think Asgard is healthy for Loki any longer.”

Loki focused on Tony when the man spoke as the moved away from the heat. Once out of the dungeons the air seemed much cooler and Loki relaxed a bit as the heat didn't feel all consuming. He didn't feel much better but he did feel it a bit especially when they entered his room which he had always kept cooler. The first feel of the cold water had Loki jerk in in surprise at the sudden change in temperature before he realized what it was. As soon as he did he let Tony set him down with no fight. He could feel the heat being sapped from his skin and he sunk deeper into the water until only his head was exposed. He started shivering after a minute but not from the cold just the abrupt change, the cold water felt wonderful. then water was sliding over his scalp with fingers working it in and loki gave a soft moan. Hearing Tony speak once more loki opened his eyes his mind felt a bit clearer and he became aware of thor's presence.

Thor nodded when Tony stated what he next needed. "I will do as you ask." Thor stated before leaving the room to do as the man asked.

Tony watched Thor leave before turning back to Loki. Taking the cloth, he began to wet Loki’s face with it, making sure he got every patch of skin before moving to take one of the pitchers of water. Pouring a small cup, he tasted it first, just like in the dungeon, before he returned to Loki’s side and helped him take a few sips of water. “You’re going to be fine.” He said lightly, trying to shake some of the worry that still clung to him. “And you made me worry.” He continued, going back to wiping down Loki’s face.

Loki looked to Tony smiling gently when the man's attention turned back to him. He closed his eyes again when Tony brought a wet cloth to his face. The cool water felt great and slowly his shivers subsided as his bodies internal and external temperatures balanced out. He didn't fight taking sips of the water in fact he almost grabbed the cup himself or he would of if his arms hadn't felt so limp. "I am sorry Tony." Loki murmured his voice still a bit scratchy but improving with the water.

Tony was relieved to see the smile and have Loki accepting the water so easily. It seemed he’d managed to get him here in time. Kissing the god’s forehead as he spoke, he shook his head. “Don’t apologize babe, it wasn’t your fault.” He replied gently. “Just don’t worry me like that again.” He said slowly. Getting up to get another cup of water, he continued to only allow Loki small mouthfuls at a time. “I know you want more, but we can’t push your stomach too much right now.” He said softly petting his hair, and watching his lover carefully.

Loki lifted his head when Tony kissed his forehead. "If I had been more conscious of Thanos I could have prevented this." Loki stated frowning. He nodded when the man told him not to worry him again. He couldn't promise not to but he would try. Drinking the water offered he knew Tony was right about him not drinking more water because it would only make him sick. Loki relaxed taking a deep breath and closing his eyes. "What would I do without you tony?" Loki sighed. He felt tired again but not the exhaustion the heat had brought him before. He knew he would wake up alright if he slept now, he could even feel his magic returning now not being sapped by the cell or the heat.

Tony sighed at Loki’s words. “You were asleep babe. We both were.” He said slowly. Chuckling at the question, Tony began to pour water into Loki’s hair again, the methodical motions helping him calm down a bit. “You’d find someone younger and more attractive and get into much more trouble.” He said lightly. Looking at his lover, he saw the weariness in his eyes and smiled slightly. “Go to sleep Lo. You need to recover some. I’ll take care of you.” He promised.

Loki frowned, he still thought he should have known. He knew what Thanos wanted and he knew that he was still under the man's control when he so chose. Hearing Tony chuckle he smiled softly as the man poured water over his head. "I would never." Loki laughed. "Well I can not guarantee that I would not get into more trouble." Loki admitted. "In the tub Tony?" Loki questioned when the man told him to go to sleep once more.
