"Unless there's a key nearby." "One of the grunts might have it." Gold said. "But everyone might be tied up with the rangers, so we might as well do it your way, and fast." "Yea. I don't think we got much choice in the matter." He said.

"Man, what I wouldn't give for some way to coat Geodude here in rubber." Aden commented. Trying to speed things up, though, he decided not to throw Geodude. "Anyway, you might want to brace yourselves."
Instead, as the chi was channeled again, he spun the Pokemon around near a couple of cages. There'd still be a bit of force going, at least.

I have a bad habit of thinking so far outside the box that it's long since gave up and gone home."

With the captives free, Gold looked around. "Come on, we got to try to get out of here before the Rangers make their way down here." "But there's only one exit here! How are we supposed to get out of here?" Kris said.

After everything, Geodude was rather dizzy, the area spinning around. Noticing this, Aden recalled it quickly. "Um..." Unfortunately, he had no idea on how to get out with the only exit likely engulfed by now. "Crap. I didn't think that part through. I don't have anything that can make a fast exit."

"...you weren't kidding when you said you were winging it." Kris said to Gold. "Yea, really wasn't joking on that." He said. "We can't fight EVERYTHING. And Aden and those others can't really be seen. If the rangers get their hands on them-" "Yea, I can only guess." Kris said.

He tried to think, looking for some way that might allow for an exit. There was digging, but he doubted the viability as much as he doubted the validity of trying to just plow through any other Rockets and Rangers.

The odds were stacked against him and those around him. An idea then came to mind. It was not going to be pretty, but it was better than staying here and waiting for either Rocket or Ranger to get here. This was about to be the moment where he would start being defined as a behind-the-scene hero that he was rumored to be... "Gold...you got that look in your eye again." Kris said. "What look?" "The look like you are about to do something real stupid, crazy, or daring, if not all three." Kris said. "Well, Im going to do something along the crazy and daring territory. Come on. Because I don't know about you, better than staying here." Gold said, running off, taking out a Pokeball. "I think we'll be regretting this..." Kris said.

"I need you to do something...I need you to get those people from the future and Kris and take them with you. I need you to get them out of here." he said. "Wait. Gold? What are-" "Just trust me on this one, Kris." Gold then said, interrupting Kris. "I have no intentions on getting caught, but I do have intentions on getting at least you all out here. It wouldn't be too much of a issue if say you and I got caught. It would be a real big matter if Aden and those others did, though." "Then I am going with you." "Kris no-" "Shut up. You said it yourself. And I rather see to it that you are out too. We got a journey to finish, after all, ourselves." ".........fine."

Normally, Aden would say something about making sure all involved got out of here. However, it didn't take much to see what Gold meant here. For all he knew, trying to prevent him and Kris from getting caught again, if that was to happen in the first place, would be more detrimental than warranted. Much as he didn't want to leave them hanging in a way, he was better off listening.
"...Right. In that case, you two go ahead. It might just create the distraction to let the rest of us out." He said. "Everyone else, come with me. I'll make sure we get where we need to go. And when, too, can't forget that."

Those rarely sung, if any, in the history books...or in Ranger criminal records. Either way, people would know of them. A history that Aden will never hear of unless he got out of the cave in which he stood. The people close by stood ready to lead them out. They wanted out of here just as much as the next person...

Aden only waited for a moment, until the two went off into the cavern. As soon as they did, he looked back to those he was to lead out of here. "Well, can't say that's something seen often. Alright, we're getting out of here." As far as he was concerned, though, this was one history lesson he wasn't going to screw up.
He made for a hasty retreat, motioning for the rest to follow, focused on ensuring an exit from the cave. If he could get from here to the forest, they'd be in the clear. After that, though, he was winging it.
