Darien_Thread MariusBinx Darien_Thread MariusBinx I dunno what the current subject here is....but I felt like sharing: http://sindivision.net/stuff/hxc.gifthat is an example of things I experiene at concerts. It is a bad example. The pits are usally smaller, with alot more people who are way more violent. Also its always indoors. some of ya know what kinda of shows I go to, and before were wondering what goes on... WHOOO. I ******** love Mosh-Pits twisted crying So do I, but that isnt a mosh pit sweatdrop Its a hardcore dancin pitt....... very different... Whats the difrense
Mosh: Done at metal shows. Or when nu-metalers show up to see the crappy opening band and keep on moshing even when "Called To Arms" starts to play. Than the nu-metalers get all pissed when they get beat up by the big hardcore kids. The goal is to push, shove, kick, hurt, hump others. If someone falls, even of the few who do try to help, end up stomping on them.
hxc dancing: Done at hardcore shows. The goal is to dance, wildly, but to the music. You try not to hit others, or even touch others because you do not want to hurt them Someone falls everyone around stops and helps the person up.

MariusBinx I hold alot of respect towards dancing. and very little towards moshing. This nu-metal craze has screwed up some hardcore concerts I planned on dancin at. its a pain. But, I do too love da mosh pit. If there is one, I will be in the middle of it xd
I just like beating the liveing ******** s**t out of people who are trying to mosh but can't twisted

If yer one of those people who purposly elbow, punch, kick, hurt anyone in the pit for whatever reason. I must be honest and say that if I ever met in at a concert I would hate you for as long as the show lasted.
People like that dont belong in the pit. They dont even deserve to stand on the sides.
Three general rules everyone must follow in the metal or hardcore scenes: Dont be an idiot. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Leave my scene if you want to change it.

Darien_Thread MariusBinx I do my reasearch on concerts and scenes.....but even than I still go to every concert with a band I like. I dont really mind getting hurt, but it does piss me off. When I see a mosh pit invading a hardcore pit at a pure hardcore show....I get very mad, and than I laugh because I know some of those hardcore kids are jerks, and will beat the s**t out of some of the lil punks. I can understand that. Is is my guys invading your guys turf. I would hate it if people like you came to one of our concerts
Mo, you would love ot. Because we understand the scenes. If I go to a nu-metal show, I expect a bunch of 15-17 year old pricks whose only goal is to kicks someone's a**. I will join those pricks and do the same thing.
However when I do to ANYTHING that is not pure-nu-metal I expect respect from everyone in the crowd for the scene.

MariusBinx No, every show if it is metal or hardcore is a part of the same scene The problem are the new comers that disrespect the scene. I am a new comer that has earned respect because I took time to learn the scene before jumpin in a pit. Name 5 of your top bands, and your age. I can already guess the genres, and probably the age. and I know you have never given a thought to the lack of respect you give at these shows. The scene is dying.
Top 5 bands : Guns N Rosses, Black Saboth, Matalica, Korn, Slipknot Age : 18
