Loki leaned back into Tony when the man stepped forward to offer him comfort. He cared not about images at this point. He was sure any image the council had of him was not favorable anyway. He stood back up when the man moved away and looked to his mother as she turned back to the council. The council responded by shaking their heads and Loki felt a bit of relief to know that he was almost done with this trial.



"I believe your highness that we know all that we need to know." Finn answered bowing his head to the woman. "What is your suggested punishment?"

Frigga took a steadying breath as the question was asked. Looking back to Loki, she gave him a gentle, warm for a moment, looking like the mother she was before she finally looked back to the council. “As Loki seems to be innocent of any intention in this matter, then I cannot find any justification in sentencing him harshly. However, his presence on Asgard is still cause of some concern. I suggest he be banished to Midgard until Thanos can be dealt with. Tony Stark has the ability to control him and keep him from causing any harm, and if he is used by Thanos again and Tony is unable to stop him, there is a group of individuals on earth who were able to turn back the Chitauri invasion, they should be able to stop him. And Thor, as representative to Midgard on Asgard’s behalf, will be there to keep watch over him as well.” She said slowly.

Loki gave his mother a weak smile when she smiled at him before turning back to the job at hand. Despite knowing it was coming the thought of being banished by his mother still hurt. He had no idea when he would see her now with all the duties she had and so soon after confirming that she did love him despite what you had done. He knew she was right bit still it hurt. He would miss her terribly and he supposed the good thing was his brother would still be around but he knew that Thor would want to talk about what had transpired here. Where as Loki wanted to seclude himself away in Tony's room in the tower and never come out.



"I believe the council can agree to those terms. I believe we shall give Loki the rest of the day to collect his things and make his goodbyes before sending him and the Midgardian representatives back to Midgard. I believe lady Sif and Fandral's trials can be commenced without their presence." Finn answered.

Tony let out a breath of relief as the sentence was passed. A moment later he was pressing his mind to Loki’s trying to offer as much comfort as he could. He knew how much this hurt Loki, how upset he was now, but it was also a protection for the god, so he couldn’t be angry about it.

Bruce finally stood from where he’d been sitting. “If it will help at all, I will leave all of the evidence I have pertaining to that trial before I leave.” He said softly. It would also give him an opportunity to speak to Frigga over what he’d observed.

Frigga nodded at Finn. Looking to Bruce as he spoke, she gave a small smile. “That would be most appreciated Dr. Banner.” She said softly before facing Loki and Tony once more. “I believe you can be escorted back to your rooms now.” She said, nodding to the guards and making a small motion for Thor to accompany them.

Loki took what Tony offered him in the way of comfort when the man pressed their minds together. Hearing Bruce offer to leave all of the evidence needed for the trial against Sif and Fandral Loki felt a bit more relief. When he was allowed to be escorted back to his rooms he turned to follow the guards knowing Thor was quickly moving as his mother had motioned to him.

Finn nodded at the decree and the offer of Bruce. "I would much appreciate seeing the evidence." Finn stated.

"brother..." Thor began when they had reached the hallway.

As soon as they were out of the hall, Tony took Loki’s hand and pressed against his side as they walked. ‘I love you Lo…..we’ll be just fine.’ He whispered softly over the bond. Hearing Thor begin to speak, he looked back at Thor and gave a small shake of his head. This was not the time to push Loki.

Loki jumped a bit as Tony grasped his hand and pressed against his side. He was glad to have him there with his words of love and assurances. He didn't respond unsure if he could at the moment. The day was half gone and he needed to think of everything he needed to pack. He would not have a chance to come back. He would need all of his books to be tied to his space pocket. His clothing, weapons and many other things. His mind was overwhelmed with thinking about what he could possibly need to deal with thanos, with the thought of not having access to asgard.



Thor looked quite disappointed when Tony shook his head at him telling him silently not to bother his brother. Thor desperately wanted to talk to Loki but he could wait.

Tony was hugely grateful that Thor wasn’t as thick as he sometimes seemed and backed off. Walking with Loki into the god’s rooms, he waited for the door to be closed behind him and slowly tugged Loki close. He could feel Loki’s mind spinning, many of the thoughts slipping through his mind now. Framing his face with his hands, Tony met his eyes. “Lo…..calm down babe.” He said gently, thumbs running over his cheeks. “I know you’re upset, I know you’re stressed, but you have to take things one at a time. I will help you…and I’m sure Bruce will come soon as well.” He said slowly, pulling on their bond to help calm him.

Loki was starting to move towards some of the things he needed to do when Tony tugged him close. He almost moved to pull away opening his mouth to argue that he had too much to do when Tony framed his face drawing his attention. He calmed a bit when told to, leaning into Tony's hand. "I won't have a chance to get anything when we leave. I will not be able to come back, I do not know what we will need." Loki tried trembling a bit.

“I understand that babe, I do, but stressing out like this will only make you miss something. And if you do miss something, you have Thor and Frigga and Skadi all more than willing to help. I’m sure Thor could bring Bruce and I back too if you don’t want them handling something. This will be fine.” He continued, voice soothing. Leaning in, he placed a kiss on Loki’s lips, arms wrapping around him and trying to soothe his trembling. Pulling away enough to rest his forehead against Loki’s he gave him a loving smile. “We’ll be fine babe.” He promised again before pulling away and slowly pointing Loki towards his desk. “Now sit down, get a glass of water, try to write yourself a list or something. I can start packing some of your clothes.”

Loki nodded when Tony told him of he didn't calm that he would forget something. At the mention of his mother and Skadi loki gave a shuddered breath. Taking a breath to calm a bit more as Tony held him he slowly stopped trembling. Nodding when Tony pointed him to his desk and told him to write a list of what he needed to do. He moved and began writing the list seemed a bit long. Some things loki scratched put with a second thought deciding he didn't need them. "Alright I think I have it narrowed." Loki stated standing.

Tony set out packing some of Loki’s clothes, occasionally pulling on a thread of Loki’s earlier thoughts to see if it was something he’d wanted or not. He was also amused to find the Asgardian armor and clothes that had been made for him sitting in a chair. He packed that as well, figuring he could try it on for Loki at some point. Looking up from his task as Loki spoke, he nodded. Coming to look at the list, he wrapped an arm around Loki’s waist as he looked it over, mentally checking off what he knew and understood. “If we have time we can get some of the things you scratched off.” He promised, beginning to help Loki gather some of what was listed. “I vote for a lazy day tomorrow. We don’t move from bed unless we absolutely have to.” He said lightly, trying to help with Loki’s mood a little. “We can order some pizza and I can show you the joys of video games and crap daytime tv shows.” He added.

Loki leaned into Tony when the man wrapped an arm around him. Going over the list again he wondered about what he had crossed off when Tony spoke and told him if they had time they could get some of the things he had scratched off the list. Moving then his first objective was to set all the books he would need to his space pocket. It took him nearly an hour before he had completed that task moving on to a different one. Smiling at Tony's comment about spending the next day being lazy. Some how Loki didn't think that was going to be possible just coming back from Asgard. He did like the thought however. "That sounds wonderful." Loki stated feeling a bit more relaxed.

Tony gave a little hum in response, mind wandering to what he could possibly show Loki. If the god was truly going to be trapped on Earth with him, he was going to do everything in his power to make it a home for him. That reminded him of his idea of moving everyone to the old Stark Estate….Loki would love his mother’s library no doubt, and he’d need a place to put all those books. There would be so many updates needed….perhaps he would make a call about it tomorrow. Every now and then he’d pause to play with something of Loki’s baffled by its function or purpose, but he always pushed the curiosity aside in favor of helping his lover.

Soon enough there was a knock on the door and Bruce slowly entered, back in his normal clothes and hailing the machine Tony had been working on. “Frigga said she would be here shortly…..she had to finish something with the council and wanted to bring you a few things.” He said, laying the machine aside as he looked over the rooms, taking note of the packing. “But I’m here to help….if you’d like me to that is.”

Loki resumed packing when Tony turned. Soon he had quite a few bags piled near the door and he was packing anything he would need magical for potions or salves. He didn't know what he would have access to on Midgard and that worried him. He knew their medicine had increased but it wasn't Asgard. He was contemplating if he needed to raid his mother's garden when the knock came at the door. Looking up the god gave a relieved look seeing Bruce. He was however curious at the news of his mother wanted to bring him a few things. "Help would be appreciated. If you wouldn't mind packaging up these herbs carefully I can pack the weapons I will need." Loki stated stepping away from the table he had been working at.
