Blue or White: White
Name: Tsubaki
Meaning: Japanese for "Camellia"
RP Links: First,
Second,
ThirdPersonality: Tsubaki is as sweet and caring as the mother she will never know. She loves everyone equally, which can sometimes be a problem when she's dealing with a bad guy (he's really nice on the inside!).
She also suffers from separation anxiety, a side effect of the circumstances surrounding her birth, and often clings/attaches herself to her family in any way possible, just so she knows she's not alone. This causes her to come off as extremely needy and co-dependent.
Also, as was recently developed when writing the response, Tsubaki is easily thrown into panic and can become extremely irrational while in this state. As she grows, I imagine that this will calm down considerably, that is, until her siblings start moving off.... (;D Plot drama)
Pride or Rogue? Rogue
Prompt Number: 2
Prompt Response: Tsubaki knew it was coming, but she hadn’t expected him to leave so soon. It seemed like her worst nightmares were manifesting into reality. She felt her chest tightening with every hurried breath, and even though her murmured chant of ‘no’ picked up its pace, she knew it wasn’t going to change anything.
Achal was leaving for the pride and there wasn’t anything she could do to prevent it. Nothing she said or did thus far seemed to work, so what could she do? Tsubaki knew that if she really wanted to go with him, he would allow it, but did she want to? That pride had kept her mother in chains, forcing her to be their image of what a female should be instead of what she might have wanted.
Tsubaki shook her head. No, what her mother would have wanted would have been for the happiness of her family, and most of all, her mate. From what she had been told, Tsubame had been the epitome of love and understanding, and she knew that if she wanted to be anything like her, then there was only one choice to make.
She would stay at her Uncle’s side, to bring comfort to him, as well as herself, in the same familiar setting she’d always known. The move terrified her, and as much as she wanted to be with her father, she just couldn’t bring herself to do it. Besides, what if her other brothers and sisters didn’t want her? What if they saw her as an outsider; someone to be hated or looked down upon? What if they didn’t like her eyes, or called her stupid names, or…Tsubaki squealed and buried her face in her paws.
Breath. Just calm down and breath. Her little body shook as she huddled down on the ground and cried. She would tell him soon, really soon, before her left. That way everyone would be happy…. “I love you,” she whimpered. “Don’t leave me.”
