(ugh, taking too long...)

Kira looked up. The guard tried to follow her gaze up as she looked back down at him and levelled her blaster at him. She fired a small blue ring, knocking the man down to the ground with a swift motion.

"Boring conversation anyway," she said catching the man. "Come on, let's get going. If he doesn't report in anytime soon, they might send someone out to check. Let's make sure we're out by then."

She waved a green hand and took a small card to override the hangar door lockdown. "Unless you'd rather be stuck here..."

Sythica had been quick in assembling her gear. Within ten minutes she stood by her corporal and sat waiting for whatever colonel had given this quick notice to arrive and brief them. The transport rumbled to life as she sat in a seat along the sides of the vehicle.

"Damn stripers. Always waiting on them," someone beside her said. She didn't recognize the voice and his markings were from another unit. Shaking her head, she sat in silence for the officer in charge to arrive.

Jian gave an audible sigh, before whispering to Danika. "It seems that your identity can be safe, and the Force is on our side. I have something to ask of you, assuming we can escape this planet." Jian followed the smuggler soon afterwards, dragging the body inside the hangar and closing the door after everyone got in.

"There are always alternatives to fighting," he mumbled, turning to look at the ship.

A squad of Sith Troopers, following a lead presented by an informant, were marching their way towards the Hangar Bay where the Tranquility was Berthed. The Informant had hinted there may have been illegal activity going on at this particular Hangar and, under orders by their sith overlords to crack down on such criminal activities, they were keen to bust these scum wide open, unaware they might be biting off more than they could chew.

Upon reaching the hangar, they found it shut, which was suspicious immediately. weapons on Stand By, the squad waited as the squad commander ordered one of his men to find the door controls.

Jian gave a sigh, moving several paces before something pinged in the back of his neck. He started to know this feeling all too well. It had happened in the hotel, and last time, some sith with a bone to pick forced him from a comfy room. Whatever it was... He gave a big sigh, closing his eyes and slumping his shoulders in apparent annoyance.

"Just when I make a statement about avoiding fights, my danger sense tingles," he grumbled. "Move people! We got company, how long until the engines warm up? And see if you can jam their signals.... you do have a jammer, don't you?" he hissed at the smuggler.

When the platoon was finally assembled, Sythica among them, the Lieutenant brought the unit to the front of the base. Outside, the air was tense. The lockdown of the city was progressing, and the Imperial military was in full force. Just outside waited Lady Nightwind. Nodding tersely to the unit leader, she loaded into the lead of the armored troop carriers as the platoon went into the city. Within a short minute or two, they arrived outside a partially destroyed Cantina, the same one Darth Cinn had been at earlier, and where not long ago her quarry had been.

Exiting the craft, Ilia prowled into the cantina, as the platoon assembled. "The Colonel informed me that Darth Cinn came here earlier. I want to know why. Interrogate everyone. Get me security recordings of everything that's happened in the last day. I don't care what methods you use, but I want results now."

Ilia herself had considered rummaging about herself, but something was odd. The Cantina felt odd. Something about it. She frowned, looking around. There were patrons here of course, and none of them seemed to enjoy the Sith's visit. Well, they'd get over it. What she didn't see was the Jedi. No, of that she was sure. She'd know beyond a doubt if he was here, even if he was hiding. When they'd encountered, she sensed that he had been less apt than her. He was no Knight, the way she easily found him and him fleeing. No, that much was clear, to her at least. Her logic said that the Jedi wasn't here, nor his companion from the cantina.

Deciding that she'd best move on. Ilia, returned to her vehicle. "He's not here. He may be at another cantina, but I want to make sure he doesn't get off the planet. Take me to the spaceport, now."

"Aye, my Lady."

And with that, having left a squad to deal with the cantina, Ilia took the rest of her forces to the Spaceport. They should arrive within a few minutes, she figured.

The doors started to open and the Imperial Soldiers were greated with the whine of engines slowly starting up.
Illegally modified engines.
The soldiers looked upon the smuggling vessel and its now boarding crew and acted in a manner that would make their descendents proud.

"Stop that ship!" Ordered the squad leader. "Blast them!"
Firing their rifles from the hip, the soldiers immediately started shooting haphazardly at the freighter and her passengers and crewy, attempting to bring them all down.

" So much for stealth. " Danika said, seeing the soldiers barge into the hangar. She turned to Jian after dodging an incoming blaster bolt. " Shall we? " she asked, reaching for her hidden pocket, about to pull out her lightwhip.

Kira looked behind her when the blasterfire went off. She fired several rounds off of her own before storming up the ramp and into the expansive cargo bays of her freighter. While she really hadn't picked anything up off Ruuria, the sith lockdown would have made any attempt to be a legit transporter a waste. Anyone with enough contraband to fill her bays up probably would also not have any way to move it soon, either. Taking a loss by picking up some passengers would be better than having to sell her prize ship.

She made her way to the cockpit and sat down in her chair. Giving a quick wink to her droid co-pilot she took over the controls from. Meanwhile, the odd droid flipped the weapon systems on, blasting the two tractor beam projectors inside the hangar to prevent those annoying things from locking her down.

"Let's get out of here!" She said. The ship's thrusters began to warm up and push the ship gently, indicating they could take off soon.

The Cantina was a dump. Why Ilia was so quick to come here baffled Sythica. It was obvious before they entered that the Jedi wasn't here. Security readings would come with the slicer. Sythica was a muscle person so she went with the Sith from before. She also wondered if Ilia had noticed her presence yet, or not.

The Soldiers kept firing, spraying blaster fire in the general direction of the Republic Forces, even when one of the smuggler's rounds caught a soldier in the chest, taking him down. They started to spread out to attempt to catch the enemy in a greater field of fire, and a few flinched when the ship's cannons had obliterated the tractor beam generators. With all the shooting going on, not one of the troopers considered calling for reinforcements as they kept spraying and praying.

Jian's style was not well designed for blasters... or multiple opponents, for that matter. Snapping his saber to life, he parried bolts of the energy off his blade as well as he could while evading the majority of them. Even now, he silently wished he was more experienced in the blade, but as his history had led him to this place, he was not entirely unwilling to accept ataru. He switched up from his normal style to the basics. Instead of gripping the blade as he normally did, light and nimble in a single hand, he returned to that of a two handed saber grip. In the change, a lucky bolt singed the top of his chest, as he winced in pain. Still, he managed to reflect a bolt back towards the squad. As they began to spread out, Jian found his skills lacking still, as he backed up. While the jedi beside him had a light whip, between his inexperience, and her weird weapon, this fight was not his particular favorite spot.

"Get on the ship, Danika. There's no need to try to do anything more than stall..."

(It may be a flashback or two of Jian's for me to get to how he learned ataru over his favored Soresu. I promise it will be interesting though!)

Trekking through the city had become quite annoying especially with the sudden increase in the number of imperial soldiers about. It was apparent that something was up because she couldn’t recall seeing so many around before. The citizens and other travelers were nervous by the looks of it and Nova was also quite wary. She did her best to avoid being noticed until she finally reached the port, only to be told that nobody would be let in or out during the lock down process.

It was then she sensed them, the Jedi from before…. and possibly another one? They were somewhere in the vicinity that much she could tell, but where was harder to pinpoint. She rushed off in the direction she felt their presence and prayed that she was right. Perhaps it wasn’t too late to redeem her failure after all. Nova didn’t have a plan on what to do if she did manage to reach them in time. Of course the last time she tried to track this Jedi down it somewhat failed. Regardless she pressed forward and followed her instincts till she finally reached the gunfight that was ensuing between the two forces.

In an act that might seem crazy to some, Nova proceeded to knock out one of the soldiers by striking him with her staff and commandeered his weapon. With rifle in one hand and staff in the other, she launched the staff at the female dancer and began to charge at the male Jedi while firing the stolen rifle in his general direction.

Danika used a quick burst of the Force to heal Jian's wound, when she saw the woman enter the hangar. " It looks like we have a change of plans. " she said, jumping out of the way to dodge the staff. She pulled out her lightwhip and with her free hand, used the Force to push some of the soldiers against the far wall. " That's getting annoying. " she said, then quickly ran to the side so that the woman was between them both, forcing her to divide her attention on two sides. Danika ignited her lightwhip and swung it towards her, hoping to snag her weapon.

Nova had already planned for the female dancer to dodge the staff. Her attack was not meant to actually kill but more to distract and the same was true for using the rifle she had hoped to split the two apart and put some distance between them since together they would prove more difficult to defend against if they both came at her. When the light whip came at the rifle she immediately dropped the weapon before she could be pulled off balance. It was already quite apparent to Nova the dancer was also a Jedi what with the blatant display of the Force and the rather exotic weapon she held.

But neither of these attributes prevented Nova from moving making her next move. She shoved the woman back with a strong Force push before diving to collect her fallen staff. Stupid though it was to be stuck between two trained Jedi and she just an apprentice, she wasn’t about to let either of them get on that ship.

Thins were happening so fast at the moment, Jian had trouble making sure he focused on the right target. Taking a deep exhaling breath, he watched the staff fly as if in slow motion between him and Danika. He felt the Force flow through his body, in more ways than one as the knight had touched him right before she had jumped. As he watched a chunk of soldiers fly against the wall, the primary target was this new apprentice, throwing her rifle down as the whip snagged it. If that was the only other weapon she had (aside from the force, naturally) that meant...

Jian reflected another blaster bolt away, before summing all the energy he could into a jump, flipping over the field and landing onto the staff with one foot, the other not, just as the girl reached it. He leveled his blade at her. A moment's hesitation to strike at her led him to decide to make a quick slice at her arms, the training saber only harming her, not killing blows.

"We must be going, Danika. This is no time to dwaddle!"

Ilia sensed the firefight as the transport arrived at the spaceport. It was nearly quiet outside, but if she could strain, she could almost hear the sounds of blasterfire going off somewhere inside. Her battle precognition was going haywire. She couldn't see it, but there was a fight definently going on.

Unaware that Sythica was in her group, and at this point not even caring after the woman had dared deny her, Ilia left the transport, storming into the facility as fast as she could without tiring, the rest of her forces following her.

It was a good thirty seconds, maybe a minute before she arrived on the scene. Several Imperial troops were there, many injured or fallen. Nova was there as well, which surprised her, for she was cornered not by one, but two Jedi. One was the boy she recognized from before, but the other... the other was a female, dressed more like a concubine, but using a weapon that was quite exotic, and her force signature undeniable.

Knowing she was about to be sensed and registered, she pulled out and activated her lightsaber, knowing her reinforcements were seconds behind her. "Trying to escape, Jedi scum?"
