Yeah it is... as for the difference in wing numbers... Cale where did you get three squadrons from? A Rebel Wing is four squadrons, an Imperial Wing is six... Oh wait, most modern (Real World) combat wings are three to four squadrons. Maybe thats where you got the number.

no we cant but there are obvious problems with so many fighters stationed in one ship.

Blast the ship, an easy thing to do to a super freighter, and there are now 152 homeless fighter pilots. Theres nowhere in his sphere of control where he could land so many fighters.
