Well the Ratakan EMpire, was an ancient species that spawned an "Infinite" EMpire, across the GFFA. They created the Star Forge ( i think..) and are rumored to have GIVEN hyperdrive technology to the GFFA. THey were also known to be slavers.

the starforge was a
colossal space station that constructed war material using force energy to construct it out of nothingness. it was all automated and due o the imense number of ships, weapons and munitions it could create, it almost spelt doom for the republic and victory for the sith.

No one knows Centerpoint station? let me try.
Its the station between the twin worlds tallus and traulus in the corellian system. it served as a tractor of sorts that dragged the planets of the system together. My memory of the events around Endor and during the New republic.
Black fleet crisis? again I will try.
some xenophobic aliens in the Koornach cluter hijacked an old imperial starship yard, built a fleet that included a black hulled super stardestroyer, and engaged in a wave of racial clensing, decimating whole worlds till the Republic put a stop to it. happened some 12-17 years after endor I think.
