I was wondering if we are allowed to request a alternate background image be used when getting new art?

I'm about to have my patamon digivolve and i wanted to use something other then the Island for the background.

I have a pic of the image i want used, i just wanted to see if this was allowed before i officially make the request?

You would have to go to a minishop to do that. I would suggest EGILD's shop.

Fiancee, sorry for chatting, but GuardiAngemon was already Restricted...

Analyzed situation:
Even though your digimon is a restricted you still cannot digivolve it to another restricted.
It only applies to limited & normal digimon.

It says you can Unexpected Digivolve a digimon into a Restricted here, And it say about Mutant Digivolving a Restricted and how you can do it.

The reasons why we can't just unexpected digivolve any digimon to restricted even though they are restricted is because we have special plans for other digimons in the future(eg. digimon sovereigns)

Plus the link you provided didn't say anything about mutant digivolving.
The explanation for mutant digivolving is in the front page of this TP shop.

*It says it CAN digivolve into restricteds but it didn't say it WILL digivolve into restricteds.
There's a great difference between can and will.
