Faith Marianne Corner
First Year Unsorted Half-blood
Faith kissed her mother and father good-bye, wished them well, then stepped carefully onto the train. She had her arms tightly wrapped around her fluffy white Persian cat, Trinket, who didn't look the slightest bit impressed at having to board the train. Her soft, auburn curls hung past her shoulders, and she had one blue eye and one green. Everywhere she looked, she seen students with their things, talking, laughing, and finding places to sit. Oh, there were so many people! She suddenly became nervous and tried to sneak around everyone, peeking into compartments to find one unoccupied.

______ ______ ______ _______ ______ ______ "Oh darling, I know you don't like it,but...please don't be a nuisance. I promise to let you out as soon as I can," Leah crewed into the wicker work basket. Brittle however was not buying it probably because she wasn't the nervous one here. Leah sighed and straighten away from the cage. She should be on the platform with the other first years, she should be off the train by now. She should be, she wasn't because she was... Scared isn't the right word, she thought, I shouldn't be fearful of anything. I've magic and knowledge...plus a wand...Yet she was, glancing out the cabin's window she watched the mass of students. All were wearing similar robes to her own, though most had a crest of some kind on it. They chatted, lazed or hustled off heading to school. Their school, perhaps her school. Perhaps or perhaps not. What if she wasn't meant for this word, what if it had been some sort of sick joke. Her father's cryptic word played in her head. She had been so sure when she had confronted him that morning. Arrogant maybe, overly confident sure. Now she was just hoping that his words were a last ditch attempt to weaken her resolve. Yet it hadn't, not in till now. Now when she really didn't have a choose, but to get up and go outside. Sighing again, she stood. They were just students outside the window, but there were words and a world she had only just learned about. A world filled with dangers. Stepping out the cabin and setting off down the train's hallway, she knew she wasn't being brave. Now bravery required her feeling fear. Now, her father's word might make her hesitate, but she was too eager to give up now. Not when she was so close to being included. To being a part of something that seemed so exclusive. That thought made her smile as she stepped towards the exist. She would be part of this world, one way or another, but she was surely not going to go back to her father defeated. She stepped off the train. _____ _____ _____ _____ _____ _____

I won't soothe your pain biggrin epressed | I won't ease your strain: ... | You'll be waiting in vain: Damien and Nell | I got nothing for you to gain: Hogsmeade Station |
Marina wanted to just get away. Why was this so hard? It'd never been this hard before to make sure everyone was happy or at least not miserable. Damien looked like a kicked puppy and poor Nell had no idea what she'd done wrong. "Don't be." she replied. "Of course you can stick with us, Nell. We'll get a carriage together." She jammed her hands in her baggy cardigan pockets and wished it was thicker. It was pretty chilly, even if it was still summer. Scotland was just like that, she supposed. The redhead glanced back at Nell a bit worriedly. "You didn't get in too much trouble because of me, right? I mean, I had to clean my entire house. Twice. And they didn't let me go to Diagon Alley." Trying not to leave out Damien, she nodded to him. "You know, of course. I've already complained about it to you."
Prejudice is stubborn and ignorance is hard.

When WE first came HERE, We were COLD and we were CLEAR, With no COLORS on our SKIN, We were LIGHT and PAPER THIN. And when WE first came HERE, We were COLD and we were CLEAR, With no COLORS on our SKIN, 'Till YOU let the SPECTRUM in.
Say my name: Happy And every color illuminates: It's good to be back.. We are shining: Chloe and David And we'll never be afraid again: Hogsmeade Station

Newlyn giggled a bit at David trying to be confident and Chloe's teasing. "I'm sure you'll make tons of friends no matter what house you're put in. But I don't think you're Slytherin material." She looked around, watching friends reunite, full of stories of summer. There were also the new students, wandering around looking clueless. Just last year that had been her. It made her smile softly to herself.
M A T U R I T Y is only achieved when one accepts L I F E as full of T E N S I O N.
And when we COME for YOU, We'll be DRESSED up all in BLUE, With the OCEAN in our ARMS, Kissing EYES and kissing PALMS. And when it's TIME to PRAY, We'll be DRESSED up all in GREY, With METAL on our TONGUES, And SILVER in our LUNGS.

𝕯ominic 𝕸ontague 𝔖𝔩𝔶𝔱𝔥𝔢𝔯i𝔫 𝔓𝔲𝔯𝔢𝔟𝔩𝔬𝔬𝔡 Third Year, 𝔅eater
With a yawn, Dominic rolled his shoulders and stretched once he had stepped onto the platform at Hogsmeade, a familiar sight always crowded with the heads of hundreds of students--luckily for him, he’d always been quite lanky easily towering over his peers. Bright, vivacious blue eyes spun as he straightened his robes trimmed with emerald and hoping to find a familiar dark head of hair. He hadn’t spotted Damien or Eli at all during the train ride, but, that might have been because he got lazy halfway through, locked himself in an empty compartment and passed out until his cousin pounded on the window hours later to get him up. ”Damien, hey,” he grinned cheekily, dimples in each cheek and then blue eyes flickered toward Marina and Nell, his grin flashing upon each of them gingerly. ”Hello ladies,” Dominic nodded, his easy-going self was calm and content as ever.
