I started my way off to the gate house, after giving a big of a sigh and a shrug. I crossed through the gate and on to the otherside. Aden would soon find that it was open road ahead. The sea off to the west of us was vast and clear, birds flying overhead, and a cool breeze making its way across the field in which we faced. In the far distance was civilization known as Goldenrod City. ".....wow...I am actually glad to be on this route..." I said.

Ryan nods to Aden. "He didn't tell me much at all, so an explanation would be nice." he says. Ryan then turns to Blizz. " I always likes this area as well. It's even nicer when an occasional sea breeze comes in." he says.

"Huh? Why's that? Yanno, apart from kinda overstaying our welcome around Azalea Town." Aden spoke up. "I think I remember this route a little, though... oh. Well, when I was looking for you and Blizz, I got sidetracked by a Celebi. It ended up sending me off into the past, for reasons only it truly knows. The most I know was as a form of help, same for the rest it had sent before me. Apparently, that Celebi knew Gold and Kris and was helped out by them, but at the time, they got caught in the process. Which led to the help search in the first place... as a result, I ended up helping Gold out of his predicament, then helped him in getting Kris and the current shrine caretakers out. I would've been back with those caretakers right away, but let's just say I had a run in with a ranger that I hope I don't meet in this time."
A long explanation to be sure, but as far as Aden was concerned, that was the short version. "Anyway... isn't this route known for its breeding center? I think I recall mentions of it back at Ecruteak."

"Actually, yea it is actually. The Daycare by the sea. Its pretty well known in Johto. It should be not all that far from here actually." I then told him, then started to walk forward.

Ryan takes this all in. "Aden, you seem to be a magnet for really strange things." he says. He then hears Blizz. "Ah yes, I know about that daycare. I have been there before. The Old Timers who run the place are really nice." he says.

RCCaughtem Ryan takes this all in. "Aden, you seem to be a magnet for really strange things." he says. He then hears Blizz. "Ah yes, I know about that daycare. I have been there before. The Old Timers who run the place are really nice." he says. "I'm steadily becoming convinced that's a rite of passage for us." Aden commented. "Do you really think I go around and say, "Hey, what's the weirdest thing you can throw at me?" Though, the stuff that's happened so far has to take the cake. Maybe a topping or two, too."

"Heck, that whole time travel incident could pale in what comes next." I said to him. "I kinda doubt that so soon. The most that's here might be a few trainers, and the daycare itself." Unfortunately, it seemed Aden still had a few things to learn. Such as when to shut up and stop giving fate ideas.

Ryan nods as he listens. He then looks around a bit. "The daycare should be coming up on our right here soon. I can already see the glow of lights from Goldenrod." he says.

"Yea, it shoul-wait a second, there it is!" I said making my way towards the fence on the outside of the daycare. I looked on and sure enough there was a good few Pokemon playing about on the daycare grounds. "Well isn't this cute." I then said. "Oh hey, someone left a Skitty around here." I said. "Considering that its around here in Johto, someone really must have been around the regions, either that or they REALLY got lucky in this region. Skitty are a rarity in these parts."
I watched the Skitty make its way towards the lake that was close by. From the lake emerged something massive. "The hell? Is that...a..." Sure enough, once enough of it got above water I recognized it on the spot. "Who the heck left a Wailord in this place? For that matter, HOW did it fit in that? It must take up most of that lake!"
I then tilted my head. Something wasn't right about this picture. "Wait a second, what ar-" Instantly I went wide-eyed, then completely facepalmed at the sight that was before me. Apparently we came to the fence at a wrong time. "I...don't want to be reminded that a Wailord and a Skitty are within the same egg group." I said.

"...Hold up... Blizz, why are you facepalming? They just happen to be in the same... group... oh." His jaw dropping and his brain breaking, he turned around and covered his ears. Maybe he really was a magnet for weird stuff like this, but he didn't want to hear anything from such a couple. "I... um, Blizz, Ryan, do they make anything that'll let me scrub my brain and douse it in bleach? That's something I didn't want to find out or see..." He booked it for Goldenrod in an awful hurry.

Ryan was focused on getting to the Pokemon Center and was reciting all the Kanto and Jhoto pokemon. In order. forwards and backwards.
