“Relationships are ropes. Love is a noose."

Samuel nodded as the male replied to him, glancing down at the few t-shirts in his hands. He didn't mind the clothes here, they were alright, but they certainly were in no means his style. If he were to get anything, it wouldn't be something he wore regularly so he saw no sense in buying anything. Following the male around like a lost puppy, he nodded again as the male spoke once more. The brands he named weren't too bad, he could easily say that he owned a few of them, but most of them were for his daily work wear. "Not bad, not bad. I'm more for brands like Tripp NYC, Fubu, Vivienne Westwood, Prada, American Eagle, and a bunch of others. I like a bit of everything and try not to limit myself to one specific style." he replied as the male seemed to finish with his shopping. Following him towards the register, he ignored the urge to pay for the males' items. Though he doubted even if he tried, Micha would let him so easily, especially after their little conversation at the gallery. He waited patiently while Micha paid for his items, taking his hand up once again when he was done and they were heading towards the door. "So where now?" he asked, smiling down at the male.

"Of the places he listed for Samuel, they were brands mostly for work that he wore. Micha however when he was at home was rather relaxed when it came to what he wore. He listened as Samuel spoke listing off what brands he wore. Micha nodded a little, ”American Eagle isn’t too bad.” He spoke knowing he had a few things by them hanging in his closet as well. Micha stood at the register as he paid for his shirts. He glanced at Samuel smiling lightly getting the feeling that Samuel wanted to pay for his things. Micha pulled his wallet out along with his credit card from his wallet and paid for his shirts. He finished paying and stuck his wallet back into his pocket. Micha grabbed his bag as he turned back toward Samuel. He felt Samuel take his hand as he followed him back toward the door. Micha walked with Samuel outside as he looked around as he heard Samuel speak. He smiled lightly, ”Lunch?” Micha asked curiously wondering if Samuel was hungry or if he wanted to continue shopping more."

Samuel would never admit how much it bugged him to be going out with someone as independent as Micha. He liked people who knew how to take care of themselves, but c'mon allowing him to pay for a few things here and there would not kill the male. He leaned against the counter while Micha paid for things, shrugging a bit as he spoke. He agreed. American Eagle wasn't too bad, he liked their jeans, but they were by no means his favorite brand. Really he had no favorite, it just turned out that a lot of the clothes he liked happened to come from many of the brands he'd just mentioned. When the male was finished and they were back into the crowded streets, he nodded to the suggestion he was given. "Sounds good. I know a place not too far from here." he replied. Smiling, he took the male by the hand and lead him through the crowded streets back to his car some few blocks away. Leading the way to the garage elevator, he hit the button for the sixth floor and waiting impatiently as the elevator shook to life, the door screeching closed and moving up at a snail's pace. As uncomfortable as he was in the metal contraption, he did his best to pay it no mind. "If you weren't do photography or any other art stuff. What do you think you might do instead for a living?" he asked randomly as the elevator continued to move slower than molasses in January.

"Micha found it amusing to let Samuel find annoyance in not being able to pay for his things. In all things considered they weren’t in a relationship so there was no need for Samuel to pay for his clothes. He didn’t mind meals but Micha drew the line at clothes. Micha glanced around waiting for a response from Samuel as he held onto his hand along with his bag. He finally heard Samuel speak as he started walking with him back through the crowd of people. Micha wasn’t a fan of crowds but he managed to wade through them as he kept up alongside Samuel without getting lost. He walked with Samuel back to the garage where Samuel had parked. Micha followed Samuel toward he elevator, once the doors opened after the button was pushed, he slipped inside with Samuel. As he stood here, he watched as Samuel pushed the button for the sixth floor. Micha felt the shake of the elevator as it rose. He hated the elevator as he stood there waiting for it to get to the right floor. Micha heard Samuel speak causing him to look away from the floor where he had been looking. He smiled up at him a little, ”The next best thing, music probably. I’d continue with the piano and probably work on learning other instruments.” Micha spoke thinking about it a little."

He didn't blame the male for hating the horrible, outdated elevator. He wasn't so keen about it himself. He studied the male for a moment before speaking to him, noticing the way he once again studied the floor as he stood there. He wondered, what was it about people and the floor when it came to an elevator. It seemed like, in his opinion anyway, to just stare at the floor the moment one stepped into the metal box of death. Samuel smirked as the male gave his reply. "Doesn't that still count as art?" he teased. Taking a glancing up at the little sign above the buttons, they were just passing the third floor. Someone really ought to check this thing before an accident happens. "So what other instruments do you want to learn?" he continued, glancing back at the male. The elevator shaked and rattled its' way up, stopping some minutes later to the sixth floor. With an internal sigh of relief, he lead the male out and into the dim parking garage. As expected, there were even more cars than when he first arrived, making it harder for him to remember where exactly he parked. Pulling his keys from his pocket, he pressed the button to deactivate his car's alarm. The familiar sound echoed throughout the lot and red taillights flashed just up ahead. Leading the rest of the way, he released the males' hand as he popped the trunk with the push of a button, pushing it up for the male before going around to the drivers side and getting in. Samuel started the car, going through his usual motions while he waited for Micha to get in as well.

"As he stood there, Micha felt the floor was safer to stare at than the wall or Samuel. At least if he was staring at the floor, he knew when it fell he would have expected it and would feel it. He heard Samuel as he teased him. Micha nodded a little knowing that in some form music was art as well but a different kind of art. He looked toward Samuel as he smiled a little, ”Art is the only thing I’m good unless I want to use my other assets to make a living.” Micha spoke smirking at Samuel however he had no plans or intentions of doing such things ever. He shifted toward the wall as he leaned against it waiting for the elevator to get to the right floor but it seemed like forever. Micha heard Samuel’s next question and turned his attention toward him again, ”Violin would be one…and probably Cello.” He spoke as he smiled at Samuel. Micha was a fan of most string instruments but it ranged only to those he had mentions. He wasn’t a fan of the guitar all that much unless it was acoustic.

When they finally got to the right floor, Micha slipped away from the wall and followed after Samuel to his car. He watched as Samuel pulled his keys from his pocket and pressed his car alarm to active the car to show Samuel where he had parked. Micha continued after Samuel as he held onto his hand. He felt Samuel release it as they got to the car. Micha waited as Samuel unlocked the trunk. He moved to set his bag in the trunk then closed it. Micha glanced to see Samuel was already in the car and had started it. He walked toward the passenger side and opened the door. Micha slipped inside and closed his door. He started to buckle himself in as he relaxed waiting for Samuel to pull out of the garage.
                                                          "

“Relationships are ropes. Love is a noose."

He couldn't help but to laugh a bit at the males' response. Had the male asked him the same thing, he'd more than likely give a similar answer. Though in his case instead of owning a club, he was more than likely to be owning some other business. Business was all he knew, it was something he liked. Though it was mighty stressful, he knew how to be a business man and found an odd pleasure in making his dealings, running events and all the other work that came with having a business. It was strange, but it was all he knew. He couldn't picture himself doing any other kind of work. As the male continued, he smiled as he brought up what instruments he wanted to learn. If he was really so curious about learning, Samuel didn't mind teaching him on his off days. Or at least introduce him to a decent music if he didn't want Samuel teaching him. When they were at his car, he waited patiently for Micha to get in, going through his motions of starting up baby and checking mirrors. When all was set, he looked around and pulled out of the parking spot, taking notice of the signs around him so he knew which way went out. Pulling away from the spot, he followed the signs down the curved slope, mindful of other cars. "Oh yeah, whenever you decide you're tired of me today, do you want me to drop you back at the Hamptons or where should I take you?" he asked curiously.

"As he sat there, Micha heard Samuel laugh to his answer at Samuel’s questions. He knew they were simple answers. Micha had no other talents besides art like Samuel did. He didn’t have a business talent to keep him a float. Micha wished he didn’t but business was never his forte. He hated to work with others and preferred his own business of photography that he had because he was good at it. Micha watched as Samuel went through the motions of checking his mirrors before pulling out of the parking spot. He remained relaxed against his seat so he was out of the way. Micha hated garages because they were always hard to see in especially at night and if they were crowded. He watched as Samuel took his time maneuvering out of the garage and taking his time. Micha was glad that Samuel drove after all he was impatient when it came to driving. He was likely to wreck the car before getting it out of the garage. Micha glanced toward Samuel as he spoke. ”Probably home if you wouldn’t mind?” He spoke not sure if that was okay or not depending on if Samuel wanted to drive him home. Micha didn’t want to return to his studio only to have to lug his bags on the subway home."

“Relationships are ropes. Love is a noose."

Maneuvering through the garage, Samuel carefully made his way back onto the main roads. Unlike Micha who probably who have crashed by now, Samuel was used to driving in garages. Many of the places he met for meetings and even his own apartment had its' own parking garage. So driving in one like this was no trouble at all. As he pulled out into the middle of the street, he heard the male respond, nodding quietly. "Yeah that's fine. I don't mind." he replied, smiling. Samuel didn't mind driving back out to the Hampton's. Not after he already stated more than once he was going to be staying out there for awhile. So what was one more stop? It was on the way back to his house anyway. Samuel continued to drive through the busy streets, taking a few short cuts here and there along to way to cut through the traffic. "Do you have any specific time you want to be back by?" he asked curiously since they were on the topic. He wasn't sure if the male was going to work again anytime soon. If he was, he'd prefer not to be the reason that Micha overslept and missed any important meetings or appointments.

"As Samuel finally pulled out onto the road, Micha relaxed as he looked out into the street. He glanced toward Samuel as he spoke and nodding slightly. Micha was glad that Samuel didn’t mind taking him home. He figured it would at least give Samuel the opportunity to at least know where he lived before Friday. Micha could at least give Samuel directions now if he got lost instead of having Samuel call him and try to figure out where he was going, much like the phone call he got the other day when he invited Samuel to his studio. He watched as Samuel drove through the traffic. Micha glanced out the window as he sat back in his seat. He heard Samuel speak and shook his head, ”No, not really.” Micha spoke smiling at Samuel. He didn’t have any early morning plans. Micha looked toward Samuel, ”Also if you’re tired of me, just let me know too.” He spoke not minding if Samuel admitted it. Micha could go home any time between now and later if Samuel got tired of him being around."

“Relationships are ropes. Love is a noose."

Driving through the various streets, he couldn't help but notice as the male seemed to relax a little. He wondered if there was something about his driving that made the male uncomfortable or was it just being in a car in general? He didn't know nor did he ask. He heard the male answer his next question, nodding in response. Though it was probably an odd question to begin with, he still really had no idea how the male spent his days and what his schedule was like. So to avoid any last minute needs to go home, he figured he'd ask while he thought about it. He smiled when the male spoke again. Samuel doubted he'd get tired of the male anytime soon. If he was tired of him, he would have stopped bugging him a long time ago. It was true he got annoyed with him from time to time, but not enough to wanna just leave him on the side of the road and let him hitch hike home. Turning down one last street, he pulled up to the curb in front of a meter where he then turned off the car, undid his seat belt, and got out. While he waited for the male to get out, he fed the machine four dollars for a two hour time limit. After that, he then set his alarm, took the male by the hand and led him down the alley to an underground pub that served a bit of everything.

Micha had no plans really for the morning anyways. He had yet to find himself an assistant which he needed to do within the week though that was when and if he got around to it. Micha wasn’t all that worried of Samuel being tired of him after if he had been then Samuel was likely to have told him. He watched out the window as Samuel drove since he really didn’t know where Samuel was taking him. Micha didn’t mind where Samuel took him. As they pulled up to the curb after turning the corner, he glanced around as Samuel parked the car. Micha unbuckled his seat and moved to open the door to get out. He stretched his legs as he shut his door. Micha watched as Samuel got out of the car and went about putting money into the meter. He heard the car alarm go off as Samuel came toward him and took his hand. Micha held onto it as he followed Samuel down an alley way."

“Relationships are ropes. Love is a noose."

Down the alleyway and towards a sign reading The Poison Apple. It was a small underground pub known for it's food that could leave you full for days. He happened across the place once while he was wandering around the city. The first time he came here he knew it wouldn't be long until he came back. The place had a nice feel to it and didn't seem like it was trying all that hard to impress people like every other place in New York. Smiling back at the male, he led him down the alley and into the pub, slowing his pace so he didn't trip the male on the way down the stairs. At the bottom of the staircase was a short woman with purple hair, large doll-like eyes, and a captive hoop threaded through her left nostril. "Hey Sammy, I haven't seen you in awhile." she said, smiling brightly as she hastily put away her phone and grabbing two menus. "Hey Alice." he replied. Samuel, like every other place in the city, was something of a regular. But unlike those places that were for strictly business, this was a place he and his brothers liked to meet up every now and again and catch up. It was a place they would come to relax, kill time and forget for maybe an hour that they were all aspiring entrepreneurs, and this would be the most they saw one another for maybe a month or two. He also enjoyed bringing his dates here as well, the food was good, it wasn't too noisy, and it had a somewhat cozy atmosphere. Following the hostess to nearby booth, he slid in one side and smiled at the female as she handed them both their menus and silverware.

He probably would have never known it was there unless Samuel took him down the alley. Micha glanced up at the sign finding some amusement in it. He followed Samuel into the pub and down the stairs. Micha glanced down at the bottom of the stair case to see a short purple haired female. As they approached her, it came as no surprise that she knew Samuel and that he knew her in some sense. Micha glanced around the pub taking it all in. It wasn’t all that noisey and there was some comfort in it. He followed Samuel toward a booth as they were led by the hostess. Micha took the seat opposite Samuel as he took his menu along with his silverware. He thanked her as he opened his menu to start looking his menu over for what he wanted."

Releasing the males' hand as he sat down, he politely thanked the woman after giving them menus and silverware. When she was gone, he picked up the menu he had long since memorized. When another woman approached some minutes later giving them the days specials and asking for drink orders. Samuel went with sweet tea and turned back to his menu to continue looking it over. He wasn't too sure what to order, all his stomach demanded was food, it didn't specify what kind. Looking over the menu a few times, he thought it better to just go with his usual, something filling so if they were to continue going around shopping he wouldn't have to worry about being hungry again anytime soon. With his mind made up, he set his menu aside and sat back in his seat. He stole a few glances at the male, waiting patiently for him to set his menu aside and allow him to take control of the conversation again. For someone so controlling in any business conversation, he sure did suck at small talk.
