Gunther is the father of Kriemhild, who marries Brunhilt (the ice queen). Because sigfried used his cloak of invisibility to help gunther win brunhilt, he allowed the hero to marry Kreimhild.
Its kinda sad the guy is so much of a wimp, because he eventually ends up betraying Sigfried into getting killed, and then marrys kriemhild off to a far away land.

I'm embarassed, because i cannot remember who kills siegfried though...
Its not so much nordic as it is just really ancient literature. i mean, I know Gilgamesh and Beowulf almost like the back of my hand, and the Nibelunglied i discovered more through my knowledge of music than through studying textual literature.
That, and its one of the most redone stories of all time. Most people don't recognise it though.

Still, that's really good! Many weapons in Disgaea are named after Beowulf, Gilgmaesh, and the like.
Ding! Ding! Ding!
Siegfried is a nice name. As is Gunther.
In KotOR, Guardians are the balanced guys, correct?
"Guardian Gunther" Starsinger ... that has a nice ring to it. ^^
And, Kalnar shall be the Jedi Master Mon Cal dude. Of course, should he wind up in Ferno's cross-hairs, then, we can call him "Fish-Guts"! xd

Actually, I believe guardians are the lightsaber ones.
Sentinels are the balanced, and Consolars are the force adepts.

Nelowulf Actually, I believe guardians are the lightsaber ones. Sentinels are the balanced, and Consolars are the force adepts. No, Force Adepts are something else. Force Adepts are non-jedi who are skilled with Force usage, such as the witches of Dathomir. Jedi Guardians are jedi who practice the force through physical prowess. Mace Windu would have been classified as a guardian. Jedi Consulars are jedi who practice the force through mental prowess. From what I understand, Yoda was in this grouping. Then come the balance between the extremes, the Jedi Sentinals. They walk the middle road seeking a balance between the physical and mental. Now, realize that this is based on KotoR statistics and the SW Role playing game. In reality, the jedi do not classify themselves into these three branches. Not to my knowledge at any rate.

I know what the force adepts are. I just couldn't think of how to put it other than "force dudes" and "lightsaber dudes". So, adept at using the force became force adept.

Works for me well enough on that level. xd "Sentinel Siegfried" Starsinger? I find the Guardian/Sentinel/Consular classifications work well enough in terms of determining a Jedi's prowess in the idioms of Force and lightsaber use.

I'm familiar with the Consular/Guardian thing, 'cause I have the rpg, but the Sentinel's a new thing for me... Balanced... interesting...
