"As he sat there, looking over the menu Micha knew what he was going to order. He didn’t think his choices really changed much especially when coming to a pub. Micha glanced up to see a waitress coming. He lowered his menu a little as he listened to her babble on about the specials. When she asked for their drink order, Micha ordered himself a coke. He went back to looking at the menu. Micha knew Samuel had chosen what he wanted as he heard him close his menu. He could feel Samuel watching him as he stared aimlessly at his own menu. Micha soon closed it after a while as he made up his mind. He set it aside and crossed his arms as he leaned against the table. Silence spread them through once again as he glanced around. Micha didn’t mind the silence though it was weird especially since Samuel always seemed to have something to say most of the time. He relaxed as he leaned back against his seat as the waitress returned with their drinks. Micha thanked her as she set his drink down before him. She pulled out a pad of paper ready to write down their order. He gave his first which was the Barbeque Burger with fries. Micha had barely eaten so he figured he might as well eat his fill of the day since he was hungry now."

Leaning back in his seat, he waited patiently for the waitress to return with their drink order. While he waited, he glanced around from the various portraits and other decorative items on the wall, to the few people sitting around and talking quietly among themselves, back to the male in front of him. He waited quietly while Micha looked over his menu, soon setting it aside. He watched the male as he leaned against the table with nothing to say. Staring blankly, their waitress soon returned, setting drinks down before them and asking for their order. Allowing the male to go first, he went over his order twice in his head before reciting it out loud, ordering the chicken and dumplings platter with mashed potatoes, green beans, and carrots. He handed his menu back to the waitress, smiling as she informed them she'd be soon bringing out a basket of biscuits and cornbread. When she was gone, he busied himself with ripping the paper from his straw and taking several long sips. With nothing to say, he remained silent. If Micha wanted to talk that was fine.

"As Micha finished giving his order, he grabbed his drink and took a sip from it. He enjoyed the syrupy sweetness of the coke as he took a few sips before setting it aside. Micha watched Samuel as he listened off what he wanted to eat. He found that Samuel’s order was large compared to his burger and fries but he didn’t mind. Micha nodded slightly as the waitress spoke about biscuits and cornbread. He relaxed back against his seat as he watched Samuel take a drink of his own soda. Silence spread through them once again. Micha sighed a little as he shifted in his seat as he moved to slide over into the seat as he shifted pulling his legs up as he leaned back against the wall. He glanced over at Samuel curiously, ”Nothing to say for once?” Micha spoke teasing Samuel as he smiled at him. He was used to Samuel always wanting to know something or having something to say to him."

As the waitress left them in peace, Samuel continued to sip his drink with nothing to say. If anything he was waiting for Micha to say something first for a change. It was true that Samuel was one to ask a million questions. But right he was feeling like he had used them all up. He'd learned so much and still knew so little about the male. It was hard to get a good read on him and that somewhat annoyed him. With so much talk within the last couple of days he was running out questions to pester the male with and was finding it rather hard to keep a conversation going. Apparently Micha had noticed this as well as he heard the male speak, his voice taunting and a gleam of mischief in his eyes. Smiling back at the male, Samuel shrugged his shoulders. "Yeah I think I've just about found out all I needed to know. Unless you have some more secrets you feel like sharing, then all means go ahead." he replied as he set his drink aside. Sitting up a bit, Samuel leaned against the table, giving the male his utmost attention as he waited for him to speak again, if at all. Meeting the males dark eyes, he took a moment to really study him; the shape of his jaw, his face surrounded by messy brown locks. The closer he looked at the male, he really wasn't all that bad looking. A shame his personality so out there. It didn't match his appearance at all.

"Micha sat there as he leaned against the wall. He grabbed his drink as he took a sip from it as he waited for an answer from Samuel. Micha expected something but when Samuel spoke it seemed he was getting nothing which was to be expected as well. He knew over the past couple days they had talked about pretty much anything and everything to know about one another that was relevant. Micha shook his head at Samuel’s words as he set his cup down. ”Nope not a thing.” He spoke smiling lightly at Samuel who seemed to be inspecting him. Micha didn’t mind the close observation though he couldn’t help but look away. He glanced around the room taking it all in."

Smiling back at the male, he merely took another sip of his drink. That was fine. They didn't have to talk, he was fine with being quiet for a bit. Setting his glass back down, Samuel slouched in his seat, their waitress coming back shortly with a basket of mixed bread and two sets of silverware. Leaving them again, he reached across the table to take one of the rolls from the basket, breaking it in half and taking a bite. As he munched on the bread his phone buzzed in his pocket. Pulling it out, a new message icon glowed, begging to be read. Unable to think who would be texting him he chose to ignore it and was about to put his phone back in his pocket when it buzzed again, indicating he now had two messages. Deciding to go ahead and read the messages, he slid his thumb across the screen, the messages coming up and showing the last name he was expecting to see pop up on his screen. Samuel read the messages from his ex-boyfriend, frowning as he read before replying and putting phone away. His phone buzzed again, but he made no attempts of messaging back anymore. Picking up his bread again, he took another bite, looking down at the table as he went over various reasons for why that person would suddenly up and text him. His message made no sense to him and it only bugged him more as he went over various scenarios for a reason in his head.

"Micha sat there taking in the silence for what it was. He took in his surrounding as he glanced over at Samuel. Micha turned his attention toward the waiter who returned with a basket of mixed bread along with silverware. He thanked him before the waiter walked off. Micha watched as Samuel grabbed a roll. He took a roll as well and nibbled on it. Micha finished it off then wiped his hands off. He glanced at Samuel watching as he pulled his phone out. Micha dismissed it after all it wasn’t his business who was texting him. He shifted as he pulled his cigarettes from his pocket along with his lighter. Micha pulled out a cigarette and slipped it into his mouth. He cupped the end as he lit it with his lighter. Micha set his lighter and pack of cigarettes onto the table. He relaxed as he inhaled letting the smoke fill his lungs as he closed his eyes. Micha slipped his fingers up as he slipped his index and middle finger around the filter as he pulled the cigarette from his lips. He pulled the cigarette out from his lips and blew the smoke out letting it billow. Micha opened his eyes as he glanced at Samuel who was looking down at the table as if something was wrong. He grabbed the ashtray from the end of the table bringing it closer and tapped the ashes into the tray. ”What’s wrong?” Micha asked sensing something was wrong with Samuel though he wasn’t sure if Samuel would answer him."

Sɑɱυεƪ ᴊᴏᵴҥʋᴀ Ɖɑᴠіʂ “Relationships are ropes. Love is a noose."
Samuel stared down at the table before him, his mind reeling at the thought of having one of his ex-boyfriends text him. Just what did that b*****d want anyways? The two his received were of no help in knowing that information either. The guy just texted him like they were old friends when in fact it had been more than a year since they were last in contact with one another. Why the man even still had his number was beyond him. He should changed it when he said he would a long time ago. But never did he think the guy would actually try to get in contact with him. For the entire year his thoughts had proved right, and now. Right now? Really? Did he just...? Sighing he felt his phone buzz again, but he continued to ignore it. He'd deal with his ex later. The last thing he wanted was for his ex to ruin both his good mood and his date with Micha. Hearing the male speak, he glanced up, a bit surprised he hadn't even noticed the smell of the males' cigarette. Taking a minute to register what was even said, he shook his head. "Just an idiot I don't have the patience to deal with." he replied, reaching across the table and taking the cigarette from the males hand. Bringing the filter to his lips, his took a small pull and glanced out at the people around them before glancing back at the male. Handing back the cigarette, he slouched back in his seat again, his phone buzzing for a fourth time.
Taking out his phone and opening the back, he pulled out the battery. Sighing Samuel murmured a few strings of curses, calling his ex everything from an annoying d**k to a persistent b*****d. It was for these reasons that he broke up with him in the first place. Grabbing another biscuit and stealing one of the males' cigarettes, which he stuck behind his left ear for the time being, he glared down at the device. Who the hell did that guy think he was? Sighing again, he bit into his biscuit, trying to kill the bitterness he could feel creeping up inside him. "Have you ever broken up with someone and after you break-up with them you don't even want to pretend you want to stay friends with that person. You're just so ******** sick of them, that you want them to just get as far out of your life as they possibly can. I've got something of an ex that's like that.....he's what's wrong." Samuel shot his phone another haughty glare before running a hand over his face. He then plucked the cigarette from his ear, borrowing the males' lighter and lighting the tip. He inhaled deeply, concentrating on the bitter flavor, the itching burning of his lung, then blowing out the smoke through his nostrils like an angry dragon.

"Micha watched Samuel as he waited for an answer. He stared at Samuel curiously wondering if Samuel had even heard him. For a moment, he thought Samuel was completely lost in his own thoughts. Micha soon watched as Samuel finally looked up at him but it seemed Samuel was lost for words for a second. He waited as Samuel worked on trying to construct something to say. Micha finally heard Samuel speak and simply nodded though he wasn’t really sure what to say. He watched as Samuel reached across the table and took his cigarette from his hand. Micha didn’t mind as he let Samuel have his cigarette. He watched as Samuel took a few puffs from his cigarette before handing it back to him. Micha took it back as he slipped the cigarette back between his lips. He watched Samuel curiously wondering if there was anything he could do or say to help. Micha however wasn’t good on relationship situations.
He pulled the cigarette from his lips as he flicked the ashes into the tray. Micha watched as Samuel pulled the battery from his phone. He sat quietly observing Samuel as he cursed which he didn’t mind. Micha continued to smoke his cigarette in silence as Samuel grabbed a biscuit along with one of his cigarettes. He grabbed his drink taking a sip from it as he stubbed out his cigarette. Micha shifted in his seat as he finally heard Samuel speak. He faced Samuel as he leaned back against his seat. Micha listened as Samuel spoke finding it not all that surprising after all didn’t everyone have an ex like that? He sighed running a hand through his hair, ”Doesn’t everyone?” Micha spoke rhetorically. He watched as Samuel pulled the cigarette from his ear and finally lit it. Micha smiled lightly as he watched Samuel blow the smoke from his nose. He relaxed back against his seat as he watched Samuel. Micha knew he wasn’t being helpful but he hoped that whatever angered Samuel didn’t last throughout the day. He didn’t want to spend his day with a grouchy Samuel."

"As he spoke, Micha hadn’t expected an answer. He simply stated what he thought. Micha knew most people obviously hated their exes and wanted nothing to do with them afterwards which is why most people broke up. He didn’t mind Samuel venting after all it was what Samuel did most of the time anyways. Micha grabbed his drink as he sipped on it as he watched Samuel shake his head. He watched as Samuel looked up at him and smiled. Micha knew Samuel hadn’t meant to involve him about his issue or cause their date to grow sour. He listened as Samuel spoke and smiled lightly. Micha didn’t mind talking. He shifted as he leaned back, ”Well for one what did you think of the museum now that you’ve actually had a chance to look around it instead of simply just go there for some random event instead?” Micha questioned Samuel trying to get his mind off his ex and into something that they could converse about."

Sɑɱυεƪ ᴊᴏᵴҥʋᴀ Ɖɑᴠіʂ “Relationships are ropes. Love is a noose."
Out of all the people he'd been, he wouldn't exactly say he hated them. Some came to realize they simply weren't compatible on an emotional level, others a sexual level, some couldn't handle his insane working hours, and others they just seemed to grow bored with him and left on their own or vice versa. Samuel wasn't really one to find reasons to hate his lovers, especially the ones he called his boyfriend. This one though; he wasn't sure how, but there was just something about this one particular boyfriend. Something about him that knew every little way there was to get under Samuel's skin and take pleasure in taunting him. Being one who liked to tease his lovers as well, Samuel did have some patience, but this guy, he always loved to seem to test it and push it far beyond his limits. Thinking back on it now he couldn't help wonder what the hell he'd ever seen in him. It was also why his mind couldn't stop reeling at the thoughts that just maybe the guy wanted to get back together.
Taking another drag he waited to see if the male would speak. He wouldn't force him to if he didn't want. But it was better than sitting in angry, uncomfortable silence. Releasing the smoke through his nose again, he reached across the table to tap out a few ashes, glancing up as the male spoke. Taking a few moments to gather his thoughts, he mentally went over all the things he'd seen. "Hmm it wasn't terrible. Though it's kind of hard to say if I liked any of the things I saw. A lot of them I didn't even really understand what the artist was going for. But I guess maybe that was the point for some pieces and whatever their meaning in lies only with their creator." he replied, not really sure what else to say. Though Samuel liked art, he wasn't that great at discussing it. He simply knew what he liked, hated and didn't understand at all no matter how long he stared at it. He wasn't one of those people that could stand in front of a painting for hours on end, describing how they were made, what symbolism was used, the theme of the piece, and so on and so forth. No, he didn't see the point in doing so. He wasn't that much of an art appreciator.

"Micha relaxed against the seat as he sipped on his drink. He watched Samuel as he puffed on his cigarette. Micha didn’t mind silence however with Samuel being mad he didn’t think silence was a good idea. He watched Samuel as he blew the smoke from his nose as he seemed to think of what to say. Micha listened as Samuel spoke however it seemed that what Samuel liked could only be interpreted in how he saw them. He nodded simply as Samuel spoke. ”True. Art does simply lie with the creator at times. While other times, it needs no interpretation….” Micha spoke not really sure what to say. He knew art wasn’t something Samuel knew about which he didn’t mind. Micha was glad at least they had one thing in common; they had a thing for playing music. He wondered if perhaps that would have been better to do instead."

"Micha knew he was at a loss for conversation. He too was never good for words. Micha usually preferred to listen rather than talk. He felt Samuel’s eyes watching him almost as if he was expecting him to say something more. Micha glanced away as he looked down at the table. He shifted a little as he leaned against the table. Micha heard movement as Samuel put his battery back into his phone. He glanced up to see what Samuel was doing. Micha sighed a little knowing he needed to say something or they would be sitting in silence the rest of the evening. He shifted as he leaned back as he watched Samuel. Micha leaned his head back against the seat as he crossed his arms over his chest. He slipped his foot across beneath the table as he knocked Samuel’s foot with his own lightly. Micha watched Samuel as he sat there, ”So tell me Mister Bartender… Why be a club owner instead of a violinist?” He asked curiously knowing it was almost the same as if Samuel had asked him if he should have been a painter instead of a photographer or perhaps a pianist."
