"Ah new recruit I see?' Mia smiled over,"I am Mia RYokan."

Sub was up in his office standing in front of his desk as his backpack laid on it wide open. The trainer went about the room grabbing random items and then proceeded to stuff them into the backpack, among the items were things such as rope, a canteen, and other items you might find amongst someone who intended to go on a trip through the wilderness. Nevermore watched her trainer from her perched position on top of a lamp, that also rested on the desk, she didn't seem too thrilled as Sub scurried around the room, mostly because she just wanted to nap but with her trainer's activity she figured they would be heading out soon, and they wouldn't be back soon. Where Sub intended to head off to was a mystery however, even to Nevermore.

Knux was lounging in the room that had been assigned to him, setting up a rather large fish tank. He was wrestling with the hoses and plugs and gallons of water while trying to mix the right amount of ocean salt from the tub he'd bought of the stuff, while his Charmander watched with amusement from the bed. It took him a while, but Knux eventually got the tank set up to the right salinity and acidicness, sitting the rectangular water container on his dresser. "There; now our new team member can feel right at home," the brunet said. His shirt was a bit soaked, but he didn't mind. Sure, he probably could've put the Magikarp he'd caught in any sort of water--they were hardy little guys---but Knux wanted to make the pokemon comfortable. Or, at least, as comfortable as a fish could get on land.

"Come on out and try your new tank, Demo!" He dropped the pokeball into the water, the large orange fish appearing in the tank while Knux snatched the now-empty ball back. "So, what do you think?"

The Magikarp swam around in the small circle the tank allowed, then stopped, contently opening and closing his gills with the salty water that was akin to the ocean he'd come from. Sure, it was a little small, but it was better than flopping around on land. Knux grinned. "I knew you'd like it. And there's a aquatic room here too, I've heard, for water pokemon training. Maybe you and I could go for a swim sometime; work out your swimming muscles."

Demo looked at Knux with the blank look of most fish, but was surprised. Most people just gave a Magikarp a few Rare Candies or an Exp. Share to level them up quickly so they evolved into a Gyarados. But going for a swim to train such a 'useless' pokemon? The wild pokemon hadn't hoped for that much. "Karp!"

Knux nodded, then looked around the rest of his room, and organized a bit. He didn't have much here yet, but maybe he'd decorate it more with things he 'borrows' from to-be missions.

Knux had left his Rhyhorn, Elvis, in one of the bigger main rooms of HQ, munching on some tough hay. Knux was one who believed pokemon deserved as much 'fresh air' as possible, so he'd left his large ground/rock type pokemon eating its lunch while he'd gone to set up his water tank for Demo. Elvis was very mellow for a rhino pokemon, so Knux believed that the Rhyhorn would be alright on its own for a while and trusting it to not get into any mischief.

Knux, on the other hand, was still organizing his stuff in his room, Charmander and Magikarp with him.

Sub had finally returned to the HQ as he walked in through the front doors. The trainer was extremely dirty and had a blank stare on his face, as if he had seen the most hideous thing he could possibly imagine mating with his greatest fear while destroying everything he ever loved, simply horrific. Sub made his way over to the couch and plopped down with a heavy sigh as he closed his eyes and breathed in deeply before opening them again and released the air he took in. "Never. Again." He said to himself out loud.

Sub instantly jumped up from his seated position as Knux spoke to him, he didn't seem to notice the other trainer until he spoke, and now he himself was standing up on the couch as he looked down at Knux. Once he realized it was just a fellow teammate he let out a sigh of relief and awkwardly sat back down on the couch, feeling like a complete fool. "Hey there, I'm fine...now." He said with a nod as he stared down at the ground briefly. "Completely fine." He then looked back up at Knux and smiled. "So, been keeping busy?" It would appear that he was trying to change the subject, which was painfully obvious.
