Sɑɱυεƪ ᴊᴏᵴҥʋᴀ Ɖɑᴠіʂ “Relationships are ropes. Love is a noose."
Listening to the male speak, he could understand to a point what he meant about only wanting to be with someone so long as they would put up with him. But at the same time he tried not to think of his relations in such a manner cause it just seemed more depressing. For him, his relationships failed because he wouldn't give into demands like loaning money, taking them along on trips that were strictly for business, his short temper, not calling someone his boyfriend, not much of a future, his busy schedule, and probably most of all he would always put things like his family and his business before his own relationships. As the conversation turned back to him he remained quiet for a moment, thinking of the only three men he'd ever called his boyfriend. "Maybe back then, not so much now. Now I simply ask myself what I ever saw in all three of them." he replied, giving a small shrug of the shoulder. "My first boyfriend was a marine, we were together for about eight months before calling it quits. Between our schedules and him getting ready to go off to Afghanistan, neither of us saw much point in keeping things going. We weren't so close that we knew even if we tried to do long distance it wouldn't have worked, not for how long his tour was scheduled to last. My second, we were together about a year and a half, he was an exchange student that lived in the same dorm building as me in college. Turned out in the end he was only with me so he could get his green card. And my third was probably the worst of them all. After three years together, moving in with one another, and a good hop, skip, and jump away from possibly thinking about taking that short trip up an aisle, I found out that the b*****d had been stealing a few hundred dollars from me every so often and was planning rob me blind one night when I was working at the club. When I got home he'd already packed half of my belongings into a U-Haul van and apparently took a break from robbing me so he could order take-out with my one of credit cards and ******** his other boyfriend on my couch." Samuel shook his head, it wasn't exactly what Micha asked, but it always told of why he was reluctant of making any further relationships with anyone. He looked towards the male, daring him to try and give him some sort of pity. It wasn't wanted nor asked for. It was simply how things were and better kept in the past. Continuing to walk through the garage, they came upon a set of iron double doors leading out into the skywalk, being the gentleman that he was, Samuel kindly opened the door and allowed Micha to walk through first. The sounds of the city were replaced with those of muffled chatter and a carousel.

"Micha knew the idea seemed depressing but it was simply who he was. He wouldn’t stay where he wasn’t wanted. Micha saw no need to do so. He never had anyone actually want him to stay anyways. Micha had a listless life when it came to relationships. He preferred to keep his mind wrapped in his work. It was odd to say that even though Samuel and he weren’t in a relationship, he rather enjoyed spending time with him. Micha continued walking through the garage. He listened as Samuel spoke about his past relationships. Micha could understand that being with someone who was in the military was hard to keep a relationship with especially if the two weren’t willing to work on the long distance thing. He wasn’t sure if he could ever deal with the idea of a long distance relationship either. Micha continued to listen as Samuel spoke about the exchange student he had been with. He merely shook his head at the idea of someone taking advantage of someone else. Micha continued walking along side Samuel as he continued to speak. He wasn’t surprised as Samuel told him about his ex who stole from him and then tried to rob him. Micha watched as Samuel glanced at him almost daring him to say something. He kept his mouth shut though. Micha continued through the garage until they came to double doors. As Samuel moved to open the door for him, he thanked him. Micha walked through the door as he heard the sound of music from the carousel. He glanced around before looking back at Samuel, ”So any more questions you want to ask?” Micha asked smiling at Samuel. He didn’t have any more for Samuel at the moment but he figured Samuel might."

"Micha walked with Samuel inside the mall. He glanced around as he waited for a response from Samuel. Micha hadn’t really gone to the mall before. He wasn’t a fan of malls or large crowded places. Micha heard Samuel speak and nodded simply. He glanced toward the directory as Samuel motioned toward it. Micha walked toward it and looked it over to see what the mall had. He glanced over the board before deciding on a place. Micha glanced back toward Samuel, ”How about Century 21?” He asked curiously not really sure what they had but simply picked a random store off the board. Micha was sure that Samuel had been here a couple times before him so he knew what was here. He was simply just going with the flow of things."

Like Micha, Samuel wasn't really one for malls. But not because he disliked the crowds, though he wasn't exactly found of them either. He didn't frequent malls as much as when he was younger because he so rarely found anything that could catch his eye. Most malls didn't have his bigger brand name stores and he was pretty picky about quality and what he considered to be fashion. These days, it felt like everything was just ugly pattern, bright colors that hurt his eyes, and stuff only an idiot would wear. Most of the time Samuel did the majority of his shopping online, but if he could avoid and get out to see the light of day, he didn't mind going out to do some actually shopping. Following the male over towards the directory board, Samuel skimmed through the names of the various shops. There were some he'd heard of, other's he'd never set foot in, and a few that didn't ring any bells at all. He glanced down at the male, waiting for him to make his decision. When the male spoke, he lightly shrugged as it was one of the places he'd never set foot in. "Sure, we can check it out." he replied, smiling. He'd heard the name before, but since it was a mall, it had to be different then the one he was thinking of. The only Century 21 that came to mind for him was the real estate agency.

"Micha wasn’t a big fan of malls either. He preferred going to small stores and getting clothes. It was very rarely that he ever stepped into a mall. Micha didn’t mind though checking a few stores out though. He glanced at Samuel catching his shrug. Micha smiled lightly as Samuel spoke. He nodded simply as he stepped away from the directory board. Micha started toward the direction of the store. He had shopped at Century 21 before. They had a wide variety of cloths ranging from dress shirts to t-shirts among other things for men. Micha continued walking toward the store. He glanced around at the other stores as he passed them. As they got to the store, Micha walked inside. He glanced around as he moved toward the men’s clothing section. Micha started gazing over the shirts and pants as he looked around."

Sɑɱυεƪ ᴊᴏᵴҥʋᴀ Ɖɑᴠіʂ “Relationships are ropes. Love is a noose."
Stepping away from the directory board and following along side the male, Samuel glanced around like a curious child. It had been a couple of months since he last came to the mall and could barely even recall what shops were still here and what had been replaced. As he walked, he caught site of a few other shops he wouldn't mind popping into before they left. When they came towards Century 21, he saw that it was one of the bigger shops and was actually surprised with himself for actually missing it. It wasn't as big as say Sephora, Abercrombie & Fitch, or one of the department stores, but big enough that at some point he should have at least noticed it. Samuel continued to follow Micha into the store, smiling politely as a saleswoman greeted them. He looked around a bit, moving around Micha to browse some of the shirt racks. He allowed his legs to lead him aimlessly around the store, taking in everything at a glance. He paused for a moment at the small section of fragrances. Samuel didn't wear much cologne, only for business meetings and special occasions, but he wasn't much for wearing it daily unless it was something that wouldn't cause a headache and wouldn't wear off within the hour. Browsing through the scents and picking up a few here and there to smell, he found a few scents he kind of liked. Picking up a test strip and spraying it with a bit Paul Sebastian, he made his way back to the male. "What do you think of this?" he asked, holding the strip out to the male. Though Samuel had no problem picking out scents for himself, from time to time he also had a habit of selecting a scent both he and whoever he was with at the time might enjoy. After all wasn't the point of wearing things like oils, cologne, and perfume to attract your partner?

"Micha glanced around the shirts as he picked a few out to try on. He moved onto the pants as he glanced to see where Samuel had gone off to. Micha glanced to see Samuel had wandered off to the fragrance area. He continued looking back through the pants as he picked out a pair of black dress pants. Micha continued moving around as he picked up a few more pants to try on. As he was looking around, he heard Samuel as he came back up to him. Micha glanced toward Samuel to see him holding a test strip. He leaned forward as he took a whiff of the strip. Micha wasn’t really a fan of cologne but he didn’t mind if the person he was with was wearing it. He inhaled the scent and glanced up at Samuel smiling. ”Hmmm. Smells good.” Micha spoke as he thought about it. He thought the scent smelled good and wasn’t too strong like most colognes were. "

"As he stood there, Micha switched his clothes from one hand to the other. He had a small pile going in his arms. Micha glanced at Samuel as he spoke about wearing the cologne. He shook his head lightly as he watched Samuel move to throw the test strip away. ”No, I wouldn’t mind. I think it smells nice.” Micha spoke grinning at Samuel. He didn’t mind the idea of Samuel wearing cologne. Micha was enjoying their date and couldn’t wait for the next one. He was glad that things were going well between them as well. Micha didn’t like arguing with Samuel. He preferred not to argue with him because at times he never knew if Samuel was simply just never going to talk to him again. Micha knew he could be a little difficult as well when it came to his own mood swings. "

After tossing the paper away, Samuel watched with a bit amusement at the growing pile Micha had in his arms. He wasn't sure if the male intended to buy all of that, but it looked heavy either way. He was tempted to asked if the male needed helping holding all that, but knowing Micha there was a good chance he'd probably decline, and say he was okay. So instead he remained silent and instead inclined about the cologne. He nodded in response, finding the male to be rather adorable as he grinned up at him. But he wasn't going to tell him that. For now, he'd keep such thoughts to himself. "Are there any other scents you like or don't like?" he asked since they were on the topic. He figured it might be better to get it out of the way now, then to wear something one night that Samuel might consider a favorite, only to be told by Micha that he smelled like garbage. He'd had a similar occurrence happen once with another guy he went out with, where he had wanted to wear a certain scent only to have been told it was disgusting by his date. Luckily he'd had the sense to ask that person which scents he liked before putting something on and going out for the evening. While he waited for a response from the male, he followed him around the store, going through a few racks himself, and picking out a few things he considered trying on as well.

" Micha didn’t mind carrying what he had. It was true he was likely to decline Samuel’s offer to help him carry it. He was content on carrying what he had on his own. Micha heard Samuel speak and shrugged lightly. He wasn’t usually one for cologne in the first place. Micha found that it could be too strong at times. He preferred subtle smells over smells that were took strong. ”I don’t know. I mean I’m not really one for cologne in the first place. Though I don’t mind the one you made me smell.” Micha spoke smiling at him a little. He didn’t mind if Samuel wanted to wear cologne around him. Micha wasn’t one to tell his partner at the time what he could and couldn’t wear. He preferred though that Samuel didn’t smell like he bathed in his cologne like some men smelled like. Micha glanced toward Samuel who was looking through clothes as well at the racks beside him. He looked down at his own clothes knowing he should probably go see if these one’s fit. ”I’m gonna go see if I can find the dressing room.” Micha spoke as he glanced around. He didn’t want to leave Samuel without telling him where he was going. Plus he knew Samuel had clothes of his own that he might want to try on. Micha started away from the clothes heading in the direction of the men’s dressing room. "

Sɑɱυεƪ ᴊᴏᵴҥʋᴀ Ɖɑᴠіʂ “Relationships are ropes. Love is a noose."
Samuel never could understand people who seemed to like to bathe in their scents. It was amazing how far one little spritz could go and that was really all he needed. He wasn't one of those guys that thought he needed a spray on each wrist, behind both ears, once or twice on the neck, and three down his body. To him that was just absolute overkill and made his head hurt just thinking of how strong the scent would be. He nodded again at the males' response, though he was a tad surprised that Micha almost never used cologne. He always smelled pretty good whenever they met and he figured it was some kind of mix of some scented soap and maybe a body spray like Axe or Crush. Continuing to look through the racks, Samuel found two graphic t-shirts, one button down, and a pair of pants he liked and held folded over his left arm. He glanced down at Micha as he spoke again, smiling and nodding, "That's fine. Take your time." he replied. He turned back to the racks after Micha left, looking through a few more but other than finding two more pairs of pants and another shirt, he didn't find much he like.
Some minutes later, Samuel adjusted the load in his arms and headed in the direction Micha had been walking earlier, following the signs to the fitting area. There he was given a number and told which changing room to go in. The changing area was pretty standard with floor to ceiling walls and stalls just a tad bigger than the average restroom stall complete with full length mirror, oddly placed hooks and the useless bench no one ever sat on. Placing the number on the doorknob, and hanging the clothes on the hooks, he stripped down to his boxers. He then began trying on the pants first; the first two were jeans, one being acid wash boot cut and the other vintage straight cut. And the third pair of pants were a pair of grey slacks that he thought might go nicely with a similar colored vest he had at home and the button down shirt he'd just picked out. As each pants fit well and looked alright, he replace them to their hangers and moved on to trying on the shirts. Unlike the jeans, the first graphic shirt he could barely even get it over his head despite it being his size. The second fit him already, but he wasn't too keen about the way it fit and looked on him. And lastly, the button down, was a mostly white shirt with a hint of blue and a left breast pocket. The shirt fit well and had a nice feel to it. When he was done and dressed in his own clothes again, Samuel came out of the dressing room and went about replacing the items he wasn't going to get. Afterward, he again went over to the fragrance section, picking up the set for Paul Sebastian and a Hugo set he had but was almost out of. With his items ready, Samuel went ahead to check-out, figuring if Micha was still in the dressing room than he could simply wait.

"Micha nodded lightly at Samuel’s words as he made his way toward the dressing room. He stopped by checking area as he got a number. Micha continued through as he went toward the rooms. He put his number on the door then went inside the room. Micha set his clothes down on the bench inside the room then went to lock his door. He kicked off his shoes as he went about removing his pants along with his shirt. Micha set them aside so they didn’t get mixed up with what he was going to try on. He grabbed a pair of black pants and pulled them on. Micha glanced over himself in the mirror. He moved to grab a white dress shirt he had picked out and pulled it on. Micha went about tucking it into his pants after he buttoned it up. He glanced over himself in the mirror after he finished getting dressed. Micha wasn’t usually one for formal wear but he did wear formal clothes from time to time. He thought about buying the clothes as he went about removing them and setting them aside. Micha grabbed his own pants as he put them back on since the rest of the clothes he had grabbed were shirts. He picked up a long sleeve gray shirt and pulled it on. His clothing style choices usually ranged in the dark style area. Micha was never one for wearing bright colors.
He finished trying on a few more shirts before he was finished. Micha grabbed the stack of clothes that he wanted along with the stack he didn’t want. He left the dressing room as he dropped off the number at the checking area. Micha glanced around to see where Samuel had gone off to. He noticed Samuel was already checking out which was fine to him. Micha walked toward the check-out area as he held onto the clothes he wanted. He waited in line to check out. When it was his turn, he moved to the correct line. Micha set his clothes on the counter and waited as the cashier went about checking his clothes out. He pulled his wallet out as he waited for the cashier to finish. When she finished, Micha paid for his clothes in cash. He grabbed his change putting it back into his wallet along with his receipt. Micha shoved his wallet back into his pocket as he grabbed his bag of clothes. He stepped aside as he waited for Samuel to get finished. "

Samuel stood in line waiting for the cashier to finish with another man ahead of him. As he waited patiently he glanced around the store, seeing a few other people walking around and going through racks just as he had been earlier. While he stood there, he noticed Micha soon come out of the dressing area with his bundle in hand. He watched the male for a moment as he went about putting some things back before turning his attention back to the register when the cashier beckoned him forth. He went through the usual chatter of being asked if he found everything okay, did he know about an upcoming sale event, and the payment exchange. Pulling out his wallet from his back pocket, Samuel swiped his debit card and followed the key pad instructions, then signing a receipt, and taking a copy of it with his bag of clothes and cologne. As Samuel turned around, stuffing his card back into his wallet, about to go find Micha, he saw him standing not too far off from where he was. Walking up to join the male he smiled as he approached. "So where to next?" he asked, already taking a few steps outside the shop.
