In other news, my crochet is coming along. I've got the 2 parts of the cactus done and started on the pot/soil today.

Well, two out of three ain't bad... I was able to purchase some more items' that made me able to hook-up the Ethernet and my GOOD monitor to this laptop; so, I am feeling less aggrivated. 3nodding

Well, two out of three ain't bad... I was able to purchase some more items' that made me able to hook-up the Ethernet and my GOOD monitor to this laptop; so, I am feeling less aggrivated. 3nodding

That's good to hear! I finished the pot but it seems a little small. The cactus part still fits but it just doesn't look proportionate. I just have to put in the soil and put a face on the pot to make it look even cuter then assemble everything together. I'm hoping to get it done before the weekend and I'm also making double chocolate chip cookies. My brother got me a fancy rolling pin and some really nice large cookie sheets so I'm going to test them out.

Turns out the pot wasn't too small but I accidentally sewed my cactus on off to one side while trying to get it in place so now it looks a little funny...still really cute though! Cookies came out ok. I ran out of icing sugar though to make the icing so boyfriend brought his unused bag over which was really sweet of him (he doesn't bake but had it cause we were planning on baking together before the holidays which didn't happen since we went on vacation).

Besides the rain, it was rather nice while it lasted. Why?... because the cold weather followed the rain and it is getting cold ( for me ) again. T^T
