Hello everyone!
I am in Ha Noi in Vietnam now. This summer was crazy, my computer was broken, and I spent most of the time with that guy I mentioned, not studying and doing the things I should have. And now I start school in Hoi An on Monday.
For a thank-god-you're-starting-uni-and-won't-bum-around-the-house-anymore present from my parents I got a brand new and shiny MacBook. I love it so far, even though it's weird to start using apple. Problem is that the cracked version of Photoshop I had only works with windows, so I'm not sure if I'll be able to draw on this one.
I'm sorry to hear that things aren't great in the guild. sad
I wish I could have spent more time here, but I have to put real life first (now that I finally got one razz ). Gaia has changed completely since the last tme I was here, it just seems so messy and confusing now.. I have to go, but I'll check back as soon as I can!

I finally finished doing my side of the art trade after deciding to brave drawing a mohawk. It turned out pretty good as a chibi. I'll PM the picture to you, or d'you prefer I just post it here?

and wow a mac!! they really confuse me xD that sucks you cant use photoshop though D: i dont know if opencanvas works with mac but im sure there will be paint programs out there that do <3333

And I just got a lovely new Macbook too. I've been wanting one for awhile, but didn't think I'd be able to get one, but the University had a great deal on them, plus no sales tax in the state of Oregon, so it was great. <33

Ooh, I didn't know you were Vietnamese, Mary! I love Vietnam, it's so friendly and plain different from any other country I've been to. Do you speak Vietnamese? I'm planning to do a language course in addition to my studies, but it seems so difficult.. I'm heading down to Hoi An to start school tomorrow, I'm really looking forward to settling in there and meet all the other students.
Actually, I had to leave that guy behind in Norway, he's studying art there.. So I have no idea what happens next, but I won't see him again until after New Year. And I have never been a big fan of long-distance relationships. So I suppose we're on a break.

Yea I can speak fluent Vietnamese, as well as any 8 year olds can! lol
Vietnamese is somewhat like Spanish, the grammar structure is similar, atleast it still have alphabet and not kanji or other squirly letters xd I'm actually in a long-distance relationship atm...it tough but I'll made it work.. sweatdrop Good luck in your study! :O

Yeah long distence relationships can be tricky though luckily when i was in one we where only 100 odd miles apart and not in different countries C: but now im living with him so thats cool but we have to be seperated again though when i go up home <333
