I gasped in pain as we fell. I saw Inferno but could not tell her to stop as the blade sliced through my flesh. I lay on the ground unable to move. The woman stood up and waved her hand to the side. suddenly my body stood up to protect the woman. I was able to turn my head just enough to give the woman a look of wonder and fear."Do you like it?" she said. "this is called the Marionette blade." "anyone who gets cut with this blade are under the glove holders control, but you have it embedded in you so now i can even control your powers."

I ran around Kurai to kick the lady but for some reason Kurai block my attack. I stopped and had a weird felling that i may have to fight her. I yelled out Why are you protecting that hag.

All i could do was stare, and blink. But how was that going to help me explain. i tried to scream but no words came. I even tried to use my powers but they wouldnt work either and if they would have it would not have been me using them.

Kari could see Infernos foot prints in the mud, She could make out Inferno's voice shouting something angrily. Kari knew she was close, and she made X run faster. A few minutes afterwards, X poked its head out of bushes, and showed Kari everything.
And Kari let out a scream as she saw the cursed blade which killed half of her family, and saw Kurai standing there as a shield. And Inferno, who stood there completely puzzled by Kurai's defense. This is bad.Kari thought grimly.

The woman snapped her fingers. my body burst into flame, then she waved her finger slightly to the side and claws of darkness appeared on my hands. then with another snap i took a fighting stance.

Smoke was standing under a tall tree, watching Kurai be a shield. SHe heard the woman tell Kurai of the blade's ability. Smoke's eyes widened *That was my father's blade! He lost it when he came to this world... She must've stolen it. Oh, this is horrible! Only certain people know how to get out of its clutches... I am one of them. I wonder if Kari knows...* She knew she had to act fast, otherwise Kurai was going to die, and soon.

I felt red hot when she didnt anwser. I cant belive your doing this to the people that helped you because the Kurai Ive known for these past some minutes would stand and help people she cared for. At that moment I made a prison around Kurai.

"Kari. Do you know whats happening?" Terra still stood next to Kari. She had a glazed look in her eyes. *That's what she did. She's looking through X's eyes. . .* "Are Inferno and Kurai ok?"

Kari turned to Terra, Hoping her eyes weren't too freaky looking. "No there not, we gotta help them, Im making X come back so I can come and help too. My mom is attacking them, Kurai is under her control, and Inferno is going on a mad rampage!!" Kari took a deep breath, as she saw X arrive and her eyes went normal. "Good Kitty." Kari said petting X's head. And then turned to Terra, "Lets go!"

The woman smirked at the cage and so did my face. I reached throught with one of my claws making a bloodcurdling screech as they craped against eachother.the woman giggled and so did I. The woman lifted her arm in a swift movement and so did mine as my claws sliced through the cage. Giggling again she made me run at Inferno slicing and laughing the whole time with a blank horrified look in my eyes.

Smoke saw the prisom of fire surround Kurai. She knew she had to interfere or else Kurai would lose her life. Her powers were already unstable, having someone else control them like this would harm the controller and kill the minipulated. Smoke focused and used her dark and light to put out the fire. The grass was black where the flames had been. She muttered, "Sorry Inferno." and she placed a forcefield around her friend so she couldn't get to Kurai or anyone else. She was stuck in that spot until Smoke would let her out, or if Smoke were to die.

"Alright" Terra made a fire cloud. She didn't want Kari using her powers while she was shaking so much. She jumped on and held out her hand for Kari. "Hop on. Dont worry it wont burn you."

When my body reached Inferno I began slashing and burning the field that was around her making scorching scratches on the surface. at that moment i turned around and shot fire and darkness at the woman surrounding her in it as protection and began slashing again.

At the moment I was going to cover my self in fire a sheild covered me. This mad me mad who would have done that and of course i knew the anwser to that SMOKE. Fire ingulfed the area I was in and thanks to my anger I couldnt stop it. I had to calm down before i exsosted myself.

I just kept slashing and laughing and i couldnt stop. The woman kept using more and more of my powers and every time she did i was in pain. Eventually i was able to make a tear run down my evil, smiling face.
