"Umm...okay." said quietly and still a totmatoe, walking outside the hall.

Tripp smiled and walked out as well, closing the door behind him. "Hey, Jane..." He said, looking at her. "... Can I ask you something...?"

"what?" sqeaked Jane (still red)

Tripp cleared his throat. "Do you... Like me...?" He asked, turning slightly red.

"I said I--I dd-did.." she said even more red (is that possible?)

"Did...?" Tripp raised an eyebrow. "What, do you not like me anymore...?" He asked, hiding his true concern that her answer would be something he wouldn't like.

scott joined them for a quick announcement. "well jane, you are now the official manager of 'race to win'. and tripp, you are now my rival. congratulations."

"Bu--But I-I sssaid th--that I ddidd L-li-like yooou!" said Jane short curitting (not really)

Tripp gave a thumbs-up to Scott, signaling that he'd heard. He then looked back at Jane. "So... You do like me...?" He asked, trying to make sure, and hoping she wouldn't die of embarrassment. He leaned closer to her. "Because you know... If you were interested, I could..." He blushed slightly. "Well... I could deal with that..." He had no experience with telling girls he liked them...

"huh?" said still red Jane never really experience with any guys before, she doesn't know what he is trying to say.

scott was getting bored. "when you two love-birds are done, meet me in the common room. i have a surprise for you." he grinned and took off

Tripp blushed a bit more. "Well, I was... Kind of wondering if... Maybe you'd like to go out some time...?" He shrank back a bit, ready for rejection to hit him.

"Wha?" said Jane not hearing what she think she is hearing.

"I-I'm sorry...!" He said quickly, eyes wide. "I mean, I was just... And... Well..." He sighed. "Look, Jane, I, uh... I like you... A lot... And, well, I was wondering if you felt the same..." He looked away, blushing more.

"You-you lllike me?" said Jane as her dog tail pop out and started wagging.
