“Capptain we have a grade C alert. The radar has scrambled. All of a sudden we have readings of around 12 unidentified targets moving around us in no particular direction.” A small cor with a dark suit that bore the sign of a Harvenger specialist. He flipped a few knobs to check to reading and the targets remained.

“Oh check them again. When is the last time the scanners have been serviced any way? It might just be the calibration and picking up reflections of its own signal.” The captain’s ignorance was fueled by his inexperience in actual warfare and the lack of action the Harvenger’s HQ has seen. His explanation was enough for his team as they brushed the sensors aside and continued with scheduled duties.

“I am calling it in Captain. The scanners are boggy I agree but they are picking up something.” -Can I get a visual team on the HQ 6. We have a grade C alert but the scanners are malfunctioning.-

-Team H5 responding. You have our eyes. We will report anything we see.- A cor squad was suited up and on the backside of the HQ along part of the fortresses deck. They each had scanners, jammers, and snipers, ready and waiting for anything to appear. They did the best they could to spot the oncoming space drop but a pack of Litch Mechs could get within feet of you before you would hear their mechanics running. These small sized invisible mechs carried 5 men each not including the driver and they could drop out at any moment for the perfect surprise attack. They got into position, hovering just above one of the docks, waiting for the call.

-Space drop is a go. I repeat you guys have the green to go.- one of Dowsers military advisors spoke clearly to his squads through con link. His words unleashed a lightning fast chain of events that started the whole battle. 40 or so well armed space droop soldiers leaped from out of their camouflaged mechs with nothing but a zip line attached to them. As soon as they were clear of the mechs they located any dangerous targets and unleashed their silencer M16s. The H6 cor squad was down in minutes and not a single shot was fired back at the humans. They would have less than 10 minutes to act before the miss call would go in; alarming the Harvengers that something had gone wrong. The mechs landed just before taking out the automated defense torrents. It was a clean and smooth beginning but once the Cor caught on it would get exponentially harder. The squads had a very short time limit to get into the docks and break them down so the Harvengers could not respond to the UA battle ship taring them apart. The squads moved into position and began setting charges.

Tozzar kept blasting at advancing Cor as he switched the clip in one of his guns, the extra tentacles made Telth annoying in combat if they had mulitiple guns as they never stopped shooting. "God dammit, how many ******** mercs does Tauk have under his payroll? I swear we have to have killed half of them already." Tozzar cursed as a blast grazed his side causing him to howl out in pain, "********!"

-I figured we would have to let ourselfs get caught, but you know what Simon; this ******** knows how slippery I am. Just giving up and letting him take us would seem suspicious to him. Just gotta give him a show to make him think we gave our salient effort to escape him, so he smugly thinks that he really did caught us.

“I wouldn’t say I am the brightest human but do they not teach you much in the Telth schools.” The Cor’s population almost doubles what both the humans and telth have. It is strange how those burly-ugly-monkeys looking aliens could lay so many eggs.” Das Berg wiggled as Barney finished him up. The two moved through another cloud of smoke screen. Barney ran his fingers along the collection of random gadgets he had and finally decided on one. He tossed it through the cloud and it stuck to the top of the breach doors. There was a sudden pulling sensation and then you noticed every bullet fired diverted upward from its normal straight path. The sticky bulb attracted the bullets enough that they bent out of harm’s way from either side.

“There now our survival has reached a peachy 78%.” Barney sighed as if that meant he had won. “To bad you aren’t made of metal Tozzar or I could fix you up too. Why is it we don’t have a medic on our team yet?”

“Hey lover boy, it is because we are not a team yet.” Das Berg crashed Barney’s little happy parade.

-Good plan Tozzar but this may make things a bit more difficult. Unless you planned for this to happen as well.- Simon spoke like clockwork because soon as he finished his sentence there was an explosion from the dock walls, opening the entire dock to the toxic space outside forcing your armor to automatically locking your helmet for clean air. If it wasn’t for the magnetic bulb the drop in air pressure would have pulled you guys directly out into space. The small gap made by an explosion was yanked the rest of the way open by a Teutonic mech. The main operator just so happened to be the biggest cor you had seen yet, Tauk. Once the gap was open two cor operating mounted machineguns from on top of the mech shoulders opened fire.

“So we meet again Tozzar. You and your merry band of idiots will give me what I want now or face death. I am the Harvenger and it is time to reap the harvest. Your wills are forfeited unto me.” Tauk aimed a long barrel of some huge cannon towards a ship near you guys. There was a click and then an explosion filled the space. “All you must do to stop this is tell me what that information holds.”
PostPosted: Sat Aug 04, 2012 12:06 pm
Tozzar smiled behind his mask as he ducked for some suitable cover, avoiding machine gun fire as he did, "Glad to see you make it Tauk. I feel honored you would come to capture me yourself. Seems your band of twats are dying well at a rate of dozens to our none. Though that mech might change the odds a little bit," Tozzar said with a sigh. Finally as his clip ran out he stopped firing and called for Barney and Das to stop firing. As they did he stood up with his hands up looking down at the ground, "Alright, alright, alright. You win I will tell you what's on that drive you have chased me across the galaxy for." Tozzar took a deep breath to create a dramatic pause, "The disk....holds on it....one sec need to mentally prepare myself to reveal this to you....its just so hard to say outloud.......it contains naked pictures of your mother." As he finished he jumped back behind stronger cover, reloaded his clip and started to fire rockets from his wrist at Tauk, "Barney got any gadets to take care of the mech?" He called out as the firing resumed again.

The fun was a good mask for the general fear Tauk brought along with him. His mech stepped inside the dock and tore off another chunk of the bunker walls so that it could move in closer. All the while he moved the cor on top of his shoulders maintained their constant rate of firing. Luckily Barney’s magnetic gadget was still in place and bent the bullets along a path that kept your squad out of harm’s way.

“Tozzar what the hell are we doing. We can’t fight this, this is bull s**t. Just surrender and tuff it out. Dowser is one hell of military commander. He will have that HQ of theirs in no time.” Das Berg croaked from behind rumble form the blast. He fired off some round when he got the chance but the magnetic field bent everything out of the way. After another pot shout a strange beeping chirped from around the rumble. The charge on the magnetic gadget was failing and it would soon die. Barney was devastated in a corner because the blast shot Giget somewhere he didn’t see.

“None of it matter boyo. What’s the point without love?” Barney sobbed as his hysterical state was driven by the perception of his inanimate wife to be gone forever. “I might as well just give up and tell Tauk the secret files.” Barney was a mess. Giget was nowhere to be seen.

“You’re going to lose at least 3 tentacles for that you bug.” Tauk was loud even without the enhanced noise audited by the mech suit so his anger came out like a tiger. “The rest of you will die!” His roar shook the dock as he aimed at another powerful cannon at another close by ship and blew it to bits. The magnetic field finally failed.

The Space drop team moved swiftly across the roof space and down maintenance service stairs. The 40 or so men split into 4 squads of ten each with a leader, communicator, sniper, demolitionist, and 6 swat responders. Each team moved through the outer catwalks into key location of the dock with sly movements as quietly as they could. Once they were in position, two teams around the commanding deck for the space dock and the other two at advantage points preventing anyone from getting into a space craft, the communicators linked up a synced countdown until fire.

3…2…1 it was a go. The demolition personnel backed off from their explosives attached to electrical boxes and key machinery that ran the dock and lit up their targets. The first few initial explosions went off like clockwork; each perfectly in time with each other sending mixed messages to any cor that may be close by. The explosions instantly set off a fire response and nearly flooded the room with water from ceiling sprinklers.

-Mission accomplished head command. Their dock is incapacitated. We will hold everything here. The torch is handed on to you.- One of the commanding officers passed the message on as the gun fight broke out within the dock. Snipers kept cor from entering ships, the swat team kept cor off of the squad, the communicators kept eyes open for targets, and the fight raged on.

“Dowser we are in and the bird cage is closed!”

“Initiate the full on attack. First target shields, then communication towers. Our jammers won’t work for long so we will have to hope they don’t hack it quickly.” Dowser stood in the center of the commanding floor with his elite staff surrounding him, each doing their own task. He stood as though at the 1st plate of a base ball game; ready to nail a home run. “Let’s make this quick boys!”

His words caused their battle ship to shift directions and then burst forward into the atmosphere of the planet. As soon as they were in ranger more than 100,000 train sized barreled guns fired. It was as if it was raining explosives over the Harvengers HQ. Once it reached close to the planet’s surface the ship leveled out and hovered over its prey like a bird feeding at a warm.

“s**t” Simon flexed a tentacle and punched the side of a wall.

“What happened?” Terra was curious. She thought things were going perfectly.

“They contacted Tithlitel for service claiming a genocide alert.”

“s**t is right. Dowser we might have a very limited amount of time. They just messaged Tithlitel.”

“Someone get these telthisian out of my sight. We are busy right now.” Dowser motioned for a soldier to escort the two from the floor. The armed human pointed for Simon and Terra to leave while following closely behind them with his rifle. “We will blast the mother ******** Tithlitel out of the air too if we have to.” Dowser commented to the side. The group that could hear laughed.

Tozzar laughed as Tauk responded to his taunt. He didn't see how he was going to get out of the battle alive without surrendering. The group had put up a good fight one big enough that Tauk would truly believe they were giving up as they had lost. He would be clueless to the fact that it was all part of the master plan. Tauk had a lot of resources, but so far had failed to show any type of cunning, aside from the usual. If Tozzar was underestimating Tauk though he would be dead, not being vain Tozzar knew he should keep a watch on everything to make sure that he wasn't being dupped.

Tozzar started to broadcast, "Alright you ******** six armed wannabee. You have us, but if you lay a hand on my friends I will corrupt, erase, scramble the remains, and destroy the only copy of this data in the universe." Tozzar with a twinge of anger and shame in his voice.

((Puppetting here for some epic moments))

“You wouldn’t!” You could see the worry in Tauk’s face. From behind the mech it construed into a combination of anger and fear. “I would… I would burn down everyone and everything you ever loved if you did that.” Tauk was exhausted of options. He remained dangerous looking by pointing the cannon over you but both of you knew he couldn’t fire.

“Well then it is a good thing I don’t care about anyone else.” You yell back at him with a mighty pound at your chest. You lifted your pistol slowly, glaring at him the whole time. His face moved from fear to disgust. You could sense that thought process move through his mind. You had won and there wasn’t much he could do about it unless he had a failsafe.

“I know you’re not going to do it Tozzar. You would much rather give me the information before you chose that route.” Tauk attempted to show he meant business by blowing a hole in the ground next to you. A few clicks of his cannon to the left and the blast knocked you over with a good shock wave.

“Either way Tauk and you’re done!” As you stood you lifted your weapon again but this time brought it all the way to your own head. By this time both of the Cor on the side mounts had been picked off by Das Berg. His shooting trumped theirs any day. Barney was still a mess over his missing wrench and Troyce was missing. All seemed to be still other than Tauk and yourself. There stare down raged on.

“TOZZAR!” Tauk was furious.

Suddenly a wrench shot across the hanger and into a nook in the chest plate of the mech. That very same wrench seemed to twist on its own until it pried the cockpit open. Tauk was completely dumbstruck. The mech shifted but it was no use. Within seconds blood burst out of Tauk’s chest. A below screech filled the dock as he disengaged from the mech, blood piling to the floor. He reached forward and grabbed onto an invisible cloud in front of him. His grip was firm enough to bring it into focus. Standing over him, with an assortment of jagged reckonings, was Troyce, covered in blood and angry.

“This is for all of the innocent people you killed, my mission, and my friends!” Troyce finished the job by tarring Tauk’s head clear from the body.

For the first time in his life Tozzar was dumb struck. He had seen crazy things, been asked to do inhumane and cruel things to people and he didn't have a second thought when asked. But seeing Troyce come from nowhere and tearing Tauk apart was out of this world. Not for a second did Tozzar calculate that as being possible. Staring down at Tauk's dead body Tozzar's entire plan had gone to ruin. Buying time to figure out what to do with the information was ruined now. Dowsers assault on the main base was pointless. ******** Troyce, by doing something heroic he ******** up Tozzar's plan. Didn't he realize Tozzar had wanted them to be caught? At least Barney's wrench was found and his sole friend in the universe was going to be alright. "Well ******** Troyce. I don't know what to say. Honestly I stand here shocked, for once in my life I was caught completely off-guard." Tozzar paused for a second and smirked, "but don't get use to it, it shalln't happen again." Behind his smile Tozzar grinded his teeth together in frustration. Nothing ever wants to go according to my plan does it?

(I loved the puppetering! Tozzar so would have done that)
PostPosted: Mon Aug 20, 2012 1:41 am
“I did some poking. This zieath orchestrated the entire onslaught of my team and my friends.” Troyce looked out of control. He slammed the bloody head against the ground over and over again while screaming. His curling shrill echoed from the walls of the dock that had finally been sealed off by an automated repair barrier. “And YOU!” Troyce’s crazed glare found you glued to your spot.

“GIGET!” Barney sprinted to his beloved to be reunited.

“This has carried on for way to long.”

“Uhh Tozzar Troyce looks a bit weird?” Das Berg searched for another gun to wield in case things got messy. He couldn’t find one nearby among the ruble. Even with Barney’s shouting all seemed focused on Troyce.

“I thought I could really gain your trust in the end. I thought we would be able to team up and make things happen like my old team, change the galaxy for the best.” Blood dripped from the ends of his tentacles. “I needed you to get to Tauk and now he is dead, the company you work for is waist deep in the very project I seek to end, and you hold the most valuable information in the galaxy, same as I do. It is time for you to die.” Everything added up. Troyce could not continue his work with you around. He couldn’t trust you and needed you dead. The other frozen as Troyce charged you with his oiled strips ready to cut you down.

You fired your pistol in a small, your largest, effort to stop the fiend from ending your life but it seemed useless. Your aim minus his speed did not look favorably on your survival. Just before Troyce stuck you down a strange claw looking device grabbed a hold of Troyce’s dangerous tentacles and yanked him backward. The most peculiar part telth part mechanical being used its own 8 tentacles to subdue the surprised assassin. It easily over powered the telthisian flesh with its own metal gear force until finally Troyce was restrained.

“Is that Blitz?” Das Berg was astounded. He thought he was about to watch you get ripped to shreds. Das Berg had only made it a few paces closer to you before Troyce was onto of you so he was glad to see someone else showed up to spare you. Das Berg liked you better anyway.

“At your service Tozzar, as administered by Miss Terra Hearts, I will be your personal guard until you tow are reunited.” Blitz bowed after stepping aside from Troyce’s bondage. “Forgive me for not making my presence know. It was my path to remain undetected until you were in mortal danger. Your bullets never hit Troyce because they were not real bullets. I calculated a chance of you harming yourself as some may do in situations as these. My name is Blitz and I will serve you.”

“s**t is this thing for real!” Das Berg was actually tickled.

“Giget says he is safe.”

-I have just been notified that Blitz has taken action. He says he had to incapacitate Troyce.- Simon spoke to you directly. -It is important that you do not harm Troyce. We will need him for evidence or other routes if things get ugly. Please do not harm him Tozzar. We just about done with the HQ and then we can pick you guys up. This UA of yours; they are ruthless.-

“What is it Simon, is Tozzar alright?” Terra had a worried look on her face. They were so close to succeeding.

“He is still breathing.”

Tozzar heard Terra on the line and laughed as he eyed Blitz up and down, "I knew you couldn't stay mad at me sweet thing. Sorry about the viruses I uploaded when we met last. You can't go being naughty and threatening me, just can't happen babe." Tozzar didn't know for sure if Terra would hear him, but he figured chances are, well he hoped, it would. "Well now Troycey boy, what am I do....with you," Tozzar said, for a moment almost revealing his general confusion with what to do with the information. Tozzar was a lot of things, but a ethnic cleanser, even he would have to think about this one. The constant interuptions and fighting for his life didn't help him any. It just slowed down the process of deciding. Maybe he would now have a chance to think this through and figure out his next move. "Well if this is all good and done I am returning to my quarters, there is a lot that must be figured out. Dowser should be mopping up the HQ by now. Tauk being out of the way saves a lot of time. Troyce, he adds a problem, but one that I had simply hoped had gone away by this point...guess not. Biltz........I like you. You can stick around for a while."

Tozzar walked over and patted Barney on the back, "Women, they will tease you and threaten to leave, but they always come back. Don't ya worry buddy." Tozzar smirked at the Cor as he turned and went to his room. As he exited the room he looked back over his shoulder at Das Berg, "Das, come to my room when you are free. I think in this situation you are the best person to......seek consul with."

-Shut up you… you… you troll.- You could hear the thrill and the shock in her voice. –I am not forgiving you for what you did.-

“Calm down there Terra. Keep yourself professional.” Simon quickly whispered over to Terra. He was more worried about the two of them stuck in this questionable state of potential kid napping.

-Dowser isn’t much interested in playing nice right now so if you could be ready to present yourself that would be nice. Everything here at the Harvenger HQ is roasted. Once I pass on your coordinates the UA vessel will be there.- Simon was direct and didn’t seem to happy. You could even pick up on a small hint of jealousy.

“Tozzar, you need to get your head straight before you start making any choices.” Das Berg yelled as he limped along behind you. As the two of you entered into privacy he found himself a comfortable place to sit and started to fiddle with the loose ends of his machinery. “So what is on your mind?”

Tozzar was drinking a bottle of human whiskey. He pulled another glass from a drawer and poured Das a drink. "I have a question for you Das Berg." As he handed the cyborg the glass he took a sip of his own and continued, "Knowing that your company is protecting a galatic genocide doomsday device, are you going to keep working for the UA? OR are you going to side with Troyce and his revoluntionaries?" Tozzar needed to hear the cyborgs answer. Troyce had made his stance clear from the very beginning, whereas Barney would probably follow the lead wherever it took them. The only other person on this crew who must be conflicted about the information is Das Berg, knowing that his company are trying to kill the other races off. That was a lot to take in, loyalty to consider, morals. Maybe if he heard Das Berg's response he could decide what to do himself.
PostPosted: Wed Aug 29, 2012 1:14 pm
Das Berg had seen some s**t in his life but the past few hours trumped them all. He had not expected Troyce to assassinate Tauk in such a way nor in the middle of their fight. Das Berg thought they were all goners at that point. Now, regretfully alive, there was more to still face. He had completely forgotten about the conversation Tozzar and he had earlier, which means he too knows a limited version of the most expensive information in the galaxy. He gulped, unsure whether to take a drink or reach for his side arm.

“You know Tozzar it is hard to say….,” he was stalling. Truthfully he did not know what to do. He took a sip of the whiskey only to find it filled with anxiety as well. “What are you thinking?” He hopped you answering the question would give him an angle to answer by. “There is so much we still don’t know Tozzar. What if Dowser doesn’t even know that they are protecting such a device? What if we have all of this backwards?” Das Berg’s face fell into a factorial of questions. These were things you couldn’t afford to think about. The pressure was simply pulling at Das Berg’s sanity; the poor old veteran. “You don’t seem alright Tozzar. That was crazy. How are you taking all of this so easily?”

Barney had not moved from the dock quite yet. He was strapped to Giget with his arms pried around her. The two were finally reunited and Barney wasn’t going to let her go any time soon. Not after that traumatic of an experience. After awhile he lifted his head at an alarmed rate and looked around like a mere cat on the watch. “Well that ticking sound is either a bomb or a transmission.” Barney said in a little peep. Blitz, also alerted, ran from the side of the space craft you were in towards Barney and the dead Tauk. “I think it is coming from Tauk’s body.” Barney was now on his feet and backing away.

“That is the weirdest noise ever….What is that Simon?” Blitz suddenly turned to face Tauk on a dime and then began bludgeoning his dead body until the noise stopped.

“I figured it was a transmission.” Barney cooled down and moved toward the bloody mess to get a look at the machinery connected to Tauk’s heart. “Who do you think he was messaging?”

“It was probably a warning of some sort.” Blitz lifted Tauk’s heart and then dismantled the signal. “Probably best you don’t share this with anyone Barney.” Buckle said in a threatening way. Barney coward back until it was a safe distance to turn and move toward the space craft.

Tozzar poured himself another drink as he put the bottle down he kept his eyes on it. As he sipped he stared deep into the bottle, "No Dowser probably doesn't know. Probably very few of the agents know anything about it. But could you really live with yourself if you protecteda nd allowed the genocide to happen. I can do a lot of things Das Berg. I have done a lot of terrible things, and I don't even feel bad about it. But to kill two whole races, let alone my own. For one time in my life I am thinking about the greater good before my own. What the ******** man! If I join Troyce and his gang, what will you do?"
