Darksol88 There wasn't anything done wrong, except for Aden thinking. Thinking how that Mareep, barely able to be considered out of the wild, would be effective against someone who's poured far more time into training their Pokemon. His thought processes saw a halt upon approaching the ruins, almost overwhelmed by the celestial chi. It was more than he was used to, no thanks to his present focus on fire. But he pulled himself together. "Uh... different?" He looked around, unable to really see the difference that Blizzard did. If anything, he was noticing that some areas hadn't been excavated, and wondered if that was the oddity. "I mean, I can feel the chi in here and all, but it's not like some apparition came in front of me and howled to get out." "Ehhh, its probably nothing." I said, rubbing the back of my head. "Anyways, this is pretty much the Ruins of Alph here. These have been here seemingly forever. Scientists are still trying to figure out when this place came into being. Its been suggested that the ruins here are bigger than what you see here. In fact, it may have been one grand civilization. Though you can only tell so much. People are given free access to this place to look around, providing that you don't desecrate these grounds any more than what time has already done. Otherwise, you're going to be 'best friends' with Officer Jenny out of Violet City." I explained.

"I don't think you have anything to worry about. When your sister was in something along similar lines as any other police force, you learn not to get on the bad side of the law." Aden shrugged. "But define desecration, just in case. I don't wanna end up hitting some tile and find out that put the ruins in worse shape."

"Littering, intentionally breaking things, and so on." I said. "So. Weird place, huh? I came here on occasion and never really understood much about it really, other than what was told to me."

"Oh, normal stuff. I woulda figured someone tried to unlock some secret that it might have, and broke something that way." Aden wasn't much of a ruin nut, but he figured that something like that was common sense. But given excavation efforts, he'd be surprised if something wasn't uncovered. "It is a little weird, though... especially the chi around here. But I don't think it's the ruins that'd be like that on their own. There's Pokemon around here, aren't there?" A guess, but one that wasn't unfounded.

Here, I'll show you something, since now you mentioned it." I said to him as I walked off towards one of the ruin sites.

"Huh? Really?" This seemed a little confusing. Pokemon strayed away from here? Aden couldn't really blame them, but he still felt something had to be giving off all this chi. If it wasn't a Pokemon's doing, maybe it was one of those artifact things. He remembered hearing about how Reno and Rude had one of such things. But he never would've thought it'd be enough to be detected, especially by himself.
Hearing about being shown something, though, he was quick to follow. "Hm? What, if you don't mind me asking?"

I walked inside the structure. Aden would find that this had a severely dirty, dusty smell, but what stood out even more so than that would be the fact that there were inscriptions all along the walls, almost as if actual letters. "This." I said to him. "These were supposedly at one time a Pokemon called Unown." I said to him.

The smell wasn't too bad to Aden, though it still remained a shock to his senses. He wasn't exactly used to something that smelled like it had gotten hundreds of years' worth of dust on it. Curiosity getting the better of him, he tried to pry one of the inscriptions. Nothing would come of this, though, so he opted to stand back. Especially when the fact that those might've once been a Pokemon sank in. "Wait... you mean to tell me that there was a twisted take of alphabet soup. In living form?" He asked. While he was aware of the name, that was as far as it went. There wasn't much to lend in the way of data on it, other than to provide validity to what Blizzard said.

I said. "Its said that the Unown were pretty much the only Pokemon to be in these parts, and they're probably why you and I can sense the grand amounts of chi." I said to him. "Here Aden, come on, since while we're here." I said walking down further into the building.

"No wonder..." As Aden thought, he wondered if all this chi would have any adverse effects. He doubted it since if there was, it'd be felt by now. But he wasn't quite so sensitive to chi, while his sister was. Letting the information sink in, he quickly followed, looking at the walls as he walked. Those inscriptions were practically everywhere.

Aden found himself turning around in a hurry, looking around and wondering what was nearby. He couldn't pinpoint it, nor did he immediately see anything. He thought of saying something in hopes of luring the sudden presence out, but decided to keep his mouth shut for Mareep's sake. It looked a little uneasy.

However, one thing to note. While the Mareep was there...the one that brought him to these ruins weren't.

"Was my mind playing a trick on me...? Blizz, you felt something here too, right?" Aden asked, turning around... and seeing no one else there but his Mareep. "Blizz?" He could've sworn he hadn't strayed off, but this was a little disconcerting. "Not here... uh oh." Keeping his guard up, he motioned for his Pokemon to follow and kept his guard up.
While he was a bit worried, he tried not to let this get the better of him. Finally thinking about it for once, he tried to let those thoughts fade for his benefit and amplify what chi he had alongside. If he had to attack, a small boost from Calm Mind surely wouldn't hurt.

The room was dead silent. Tunnels didn't howl when the winds from outside graced its hallowed halls. There was just...silence. "UNOWN!" A pokemon sprang up and shouted only inches from Aden's face.
