With everyone in the music room now, Katrina started to step through he doorway, but paused for a moment when a tingle raced down her spine. She glanced behind her down the hallway, then made a frown and entered the room, closing the door behind her.

Caitlin wandered down the third floor corridor, mentally debating whether or not to go through with it. She ran her fingers through her hair repeatedly. Then started fidgeting with the hemn of her shirt. She stopped abruptly, 'Maybe I shouldn't do it...But I told Sam I'd do it...I don't know, if I sound different, will he still like me...? Oh, I shouldn't have said I'd do this...' She thought to herself. Caitlin bit her lip, she had begun to pace. The Gryffindor nodded to herself and walked up to the door, then wimped out and turned away from the door, rubbing her hands together. "I can't do this...I can't do this..." Caitlin muttered to herself. She chewed her lip, wishing Sam was with her, he seemed to give her courage to do what she needed to.

Sam stepped off the Grand Staircase and smirked when he saw Caitlin pacing near the music room. Not going to lie, she looks really nervous. He approached her as quietly as he could and wrapped her in a hug. "Hey, I'm glad you came. I brought you something to help you with your performance."

Caitlin looked up when she was hugged, when she realized who it was, she returned the hug. She didn't want to let go for two reasons, one because she really liked it and two, because she was afraid she would fall. Caitlin looked up at him, paler than usual. "I-I...I-I d-dunno if I c-can do th...this," She managed to stutter out. She could go flying over an a thousand foot gorge, but she couldn't sing a song in front of a couple people. Caitlin shook her head, fear bubbling up inside of her.

He kept his arms around Caitlin, enjoying the feel of her in his arms. He nodded, knowing that this was right. He slipped his hand into his pocket and pulled a bandana from his pocket. Sliding it over his eyes, he took her hand in his and squeezed gently. "Here, this should help. Now it'll just be me and you in the room. I won't let go of your hand Caitlin. I promise. It'll be just you and me," he repeated.

Caitlin looked at him, still very unsure. When he covered his eyes, she nodded softly. "Okay..." She said, taking in a deep breath. She lead him to the door, opened it a crack and peered into the room. "Sam, someone is in there," Caitlin said, turning to the boy. Her free hand tugged at some hair nervously. It was a Gryffindor, who she believed to be Mel from last year and an older boy with blonde hair.

Sam patted her shoulder and nodded. "That's just Steele and Melinda. They're in the music club. But don't worry, it'll just be me and you in there. Remember?" He smiled and nodded, entering the music room with Caitlin.

Nodding for what seemed to be the millionth time she had done it. She grabbed his hand, worried that she might mess up or sound wrong. Caitlin followed him into the room, chewing her lip nervously. She looked at Sam, "Remember last year, when we went flying and that man dressed in white showed up? He said bravery without fear is ignorance? A-and I said everyone had a-a fear? Yeah? Well this is mine," She said quickly, before mentally scolding herself for talking to quickly.

Katrina stopped outside the door to the music room and waited for her girlfriend to catch up. She was smiling like a little child in candy shop as Ariana joined her. She could already hear voices from inside the room. "Aren't you excited? Our first real music club meeting! Oh, I can't wait to show everyone the song I wrote. It's going to be so much fun!"

Ariana followed Katrina towards the room where the music club took place. "I can't believe it took this long for us to get started with it!" she exclaimed with a smile. Her girlfriend was on fire when it came to writing songs. She could write many and they would all be fantastic. I hope mine is just as good, she thought, thinking about the song she had just finished writing. "You ready?" she asked, peering into the room through the slightly open door.

The Hufflepuff exhaled a calming breath and nodded to her girlfriend. She gave her a quick kiss and pushed open the door to the music room, stepping briskly into the room.

She stalked from the classroom and walked about forty feet as she began to cry. She slammed her bag against the wall and shrieked, tears streaming down her cheeks. She punched the wall and then collapsed against it. Hugging her knees, Kat rocked back and forth.
