Personality: Upholi tends to be easily cowed by the more important pride members - which she regards as anyone not a Gatherer and older Gatherers. She's a little ashamed that she isn't as spiritually strong as some of the others, and she doesn't understand why she doesn't hear the Loa like some of the others do. She's got a bit of an inferiority complex, because she believes in the Loa with all her might- but they never make themselves known to her. She's convinced it's because she is a cheetah and not really good enough.

Aside from that, she's very dedicated at serving - first Gatherer up, last to quit, ever focused on doing whatever it takes to please the Loa and to help the pride. Right now, she's essentially a gopher- she'll skip her own dinner to be sure that this Mambo has what she needs, or that this Poupe is well prepared for the ceremony tomorrow.

History: That Upholi was accepted into the pride at all was a matter of chance - one day when out hunting, some Gatherers found the little cheetah hunting mice. She wasn't really hunting them - she was herding them into clever little trap she had created from some fallen branches and packed, dried mud so she could snatch them up more easily and fill her little belly. She seemed quite surprised at the size of the Gatherers, and didn't seem to have any language at all - how she survived while she was alone, and what became of her mother, is a mystery.

The Gatherers took her back to the pride with them, and after much deliberation and on the precedent of Ithambo's acceptance to the pride, they decided to raise the young cheetah as one of their own. They named her Parrot because she slowly learned to speak by repeating after everyone else.

She's especially good at herding live sacrifices and keeping them herded.

Description: Largely brown, with grey and pink. I'd like to see a wave or a cloud pattern on her, but her appearance isn't really important, so you could really do whatever you liked. I just pulled them out of my SoA idea notes.
