The Froslass would wince at such a wail from Gardy, though it wouldn't do that much for the time being. "I figured he'd have his Froslass around at times. And if you know so well a Froslass's capabilities, then this may come to no surprise! Froslass! Blizzard!" Pryce commanded.

The Froslass would retaliate, bringing forth a massive storm, aided by the hail upon the Gardevoir.

The Froslass winced as the Disable took hold of it, but then looked back as if it was a minor setback. "Cute." Pryce said. Well chances are now, Froslass wasn't going to be able to take advantage of the hailstorm like that again and once the Disable wears off, chances are the storm would have subsided.

"Alright, in that case, Froslass, use Confuse Ray!" Pryce called out. Just because Sub had Gardy disable one of the big guns in Froslass's arsenal, didn't mean that there weren't more possibilities with this Pokemon.

(Random number to determine how long Blizzard is disabled)

As soon as the flash went off Gardy attempted to teleport away, trying to use the hailstorm as cover but it was no good, the Confuse Ray got her. Unfortunately it did reveal a trick Sub and Gardy had going, that is the Gardevoir had just pretended to be harmed by the hail so that Pryce would not be alerted to her Traced ability, unfortunately in her attempt to dodge it would reveal that she did indeed have Snow Cloak as her body briefly took on the white glow of a Pokemon activating it.

"Well that didn't go as planned." Sub sighed. He watched as his Gardevoir stumbled and swayed a bit but for now she seemed pretty okay. "Alright, Gardy, we need to do some damage, use Shadow Ball!"

With a cry the Gardevoir would gather her wits and conjure between her hands an orb of shadows, the Gardevoir promptly hurling it at her opponent.

(Rolling for confusion. Will finish post after I see results. 1-100, if 1-33 Gardy hurts herself in confusion.)

"Phew, it hit." Sub told himself as he watched Gardy's Shadow Ball make contact. They wouldn't have a chance to relax however as Froslass retaliate with an Ice Beam, the attack slamming into Gardy's chest, sapping some of her healthy away as the cold embraced her though Froslass wasn't the only one who was thankful for the earlier Calm Mind. though considering two stats were raised for both of them did it really make a difference?

"Any who, I'm feeling lucky so let's keep up the offense before it can use Blizzard again, another Shadow Ball!" The trainer ordered.

Just like before Gardy would conjure between her hands an orb of shadows and shortly after send it flying towards the Froslass. It looks like the battle between these two would mostly be long range assault.

(9-10, Ice Beam misses.)

The return fire rushed for Froslass, but this time, the Froslass managed to dance about the ball and avoid it altogether. That said, it wasn't an attack that Pryce nor Froslass was willing to take, not unless the ghost wanted to be in critical condition. They may of had the Calm Mind bolster, but that would only do so much to protect her. They needed to do something else. Worse still, Pryce was starting to notice something. Gardy wasn't registering the hail anymore. Sure, it was going to die out very soon, more than likely within the next minute, but still. It made Pryce realize what was going on. He knew what it was. Should Froslass continue on, he had the feeling he needed to hold off on summoning another Hailstorm.

The veteran leader started to formulate a plan rather quickly as his eyes narrow, intent on bringing the Snagem leader down a few notches. He might have an idea. "Froslass, Torment!" Pryce commanded. If anything, there was the need to stifle those ghost attacks.

The Froslass gestures towards Gardy, coming off as she's rather bored of the attacks.


(17-20, The Shadow Ball from Gardy misses)

(Forgot roll, I am not on top of things today. 1-33 is 'hurts self in confusion'.)

That was it for Gardy, the Ice Beam would strike true, its frosty might sapping away at what little strength the Gardevoir had left. Sub would recall his Pokemon right before she hit the floor as she fainted, not wanting to subject her to anymore pain than she already had been. The man would access the current situation as he pocketed the Love Ball. While they didn't do as much damage as he had liked to the Froslass they did get one super effective move in plus a decent hit with that Disarming Voice. He had some lost ground to recover but it wasn't anything too drastic.

"I can see where Blizz gets some of his craftiness from." Sub said, complimenting the gym leader as he took out a Dusk Ball to replace the one he put away. Without another word he would toss the ball onto the field, the device popping open to reveal not the tiny little yellow reptile he was expecting but a taller reptile with a mohawk. "Wait, what?" He muttered to himself as he eyed the strange creature.

"Scraft! Scrafty!" The Pokemon shouted at its trainer as it looked back at him, as if telling him to stop being stupid, at least that's what his expression said.

"Er...I guess you evolved. I would like to know when that happened but I guess I can worry about that later...Landor! Show me how much stronger your new bite is compared to your new bark! Use Crunch!" The Dark One ordered.

With a gleeful grin the newly evolved Scrafty would leap towards the Froslass, its mouth open as wide as possible as new 'fangs' formed, the dark energy of Crunch taking shape as Landor prepared to sink his fiendish fangs into the ghost.
