"Connect it!" Ulla shouted as Riolu timed it to connect the aerial ace with his Iron Tail. Riolu held his position right there pushing back with all his strenth.

As Angeal and Riolu were caught in a deadlock between Aerial Ace and Iron Tail, Angeal started glowing, his body sheathed in a bright light. When the light faded, he was a Blaziken.
Angeal broke the deadlock by leaping back, inspecting his new body. "Hey, check this out!" he shouted in excitement when he realized he now had a crest - that reached his ankles!
"Guess you're not the runt of the litter anymore, huh?" I asked, getting an excited cry from him. I then recalled him to his ball, letting Sparrow out in his stead. I then handed her the Lucky Egg. "Now then, what say we get you Talonflame? Flame Charge that Riolu over there.'
Sparrow cawed at Riolu before charging Fire-type energy all over he body and lunging a the small Fighting-type.

Riolu landed on his feet as he watched the evolution. "Wow congratulations! She said excitedly as she looked back at Riolu. Riolu kept starring an the pokemon that just evolved. You still up to battle Riolu? Your up against a flying type. He nodded as he charged up his concentration as it looked like he was being surrounded by dark aura. The aura was going to the palm of his hand as it looked like it was being by mix with dark and blue aura. "Riolu....is that Aura Sphere? She asked as he was having a hard time controlling it. He released the aura sphere. As it started to go launching at the sparrow, it started breaking to more of a wave.

I watched Riolu charge his Aura Sphere, and I could feel the Shadow energy mixing in with the Fighting-type energy in the move. 'Dodge it with Fly," I ordered.
Sparrow launched herself into the sky as Aura Sphere sailed beneath her, her wings nearly touching the ceiling as she flew close to it, ready to strike.

Riolu Dig! The girl shouted as the dog started digging as itwas then underground where it cant be seen

Because of Riolu's Dig, Sparrow's Fly wasn't going to do damage. Thinking on the fly, I set the STR to generate a tree in the grasslands we were training in. "Go ahead and get some rest while you're up there, Sparrow. Use Roost."
Seeing the tree, Sparrow landed on a branch and did a motion similar to curling up. She then charged her body with Flying-type energy to restore her health.

Riolu quickly popped out of the ground with a charged Iron Tail. He then whipped his tail around to hit his face.

"Welcome back," I said mockingly when Riolu appeared from underground. "Don't get too lazy up there," I added to Sparrow. "Use Me First to cut him off at the pass."
Sparrow cawed before launching herself in the air, using Flying-type energy to make an energy clone of Riolu's Iron Tail, using her speed to ram him with it before his Iron Tail struck her.

Riolu was starled as he took the full hit of the Iron Tail. He fell backwards unconscious. "Oh no!" She ran out into the feild and caught Riolu. Riolu had his eyes closed but then opened them as he looked disappointed "It's okay buddy. You did your best. You even got a feel to use Aura sphere! she shaid happily and looked at Ter. "I hope your ready for my next star player. Togetic lets go and use Fairy Wind"
Ulla threw out a Pokeball as Togetic popped out as he started flapping his wings as gusts of winds wents toward the bird pokemon

I couldn't help but be reminded of Togen when I saw Ulla's Togetic. "Push back that Fairy Wind with Tailwind," I told Sparrow. She'd begin summoning a wave of Flying-type energy against Togetic's Fairy Wind, but the more she struggled, the more she shone. Eventually, the light faded, and a Talonflame hovered before me.
Before I could congratulate her, however, an alarm went off. "Looks like our time's up. Good job, all the same, Sparrow," I said, congratulating Sparrow before recalling her.
"Thanks for the training," I added, waving to Ulla. "We'll have to do this some other time." With that, I made my way out of the training room.

I'd managed to slip into the STR by myself this time around With Brunor, Angeal, and Sparrow having realized their final evolutions, that left only Sauron and Haku. They were about on the same level of training, but Sauron still seemed like he was closer to evolving, so I let him out of his ball and handed him the Lucky Egg. Then I set the field to grasslands, added in the occasional tree here and there and set up a small army of targets.
"Alright, Sauron, let's run a few drills and see how close we can get you to evolving," I said calmly, looking at the expression of equal parts determination and excitement in his face. "Let's start with the basics. Razor Leaf."
Excitedly, Sauron used his Grass-type energy to pull a few leaves from the surrounding trees, letting them orbit around him for a few seconds before launching them in a wide arc at the targets. Not every leaf hit, but the ones that did cut the target they came in contact with clean in half.

"Good job," I said simply, replacing the busted targets. "Alright, let's take it up a notch, then. Leaf Storm."
Sauron plucked every tree in the area clean before letting the leaves swirl around him. He then launched the attack with a loud roar in Pokespeak. The targets were all blown away by the attack without needing to come into contact with the leaves Sauron picked up.

"That was pretty effective, huh?" I asked with a smile as I restored the field - targets, trees, and all. While Sauron responded happily in Pokespeak despite feeling a bit worn down from that attack, I set the targets to bunch together, forming a line of them parallel to Sauron.
"Alright. Now, let's practice your classic signature move," I said, referring to what the strongest Grass-type move was when Kanto was the only regional member of the Pokemon League. "But you're going to need some sunlight for that, and you won't get any down here, so you're going to need to make your own. Use Sunny Day."
Sauron charged what little Fire-type energy he could muster and created a small orb of intense heat, allowing it to lift up to the ceiling. This orb served two purposes - to warm up the STR considerably, and to provide a substitute for sunlight that Sauron could use to charge the move I had in mind.

I held my collar out as Sunny Day's warmth filled the training room, cursing the fact that it lasted for five moves. At least Sauron wasn't holding a Heat Rock. "Alright, go for it with all you've got, Sauron. Use Solarbeam!"
Sauron took as much of the heat from Sunny Day as he could handle, his body converting its Fire-type energy into Grass-type energy using his natural photosynthesis before forcing it to burst forth into a powerful beam, decimating the targets I set in a line with unsurprising ease.

After restoring the field again, I looked through Sauron's moveset to see what might be interesting to work on. "Alright, how about this? Give your Seed Bomb a try."
I had the targets scatter once more as Sauron again charged Grass-type energy, this time expelling a seed from his mouth. The seed exploded, filling the area with the targets with energy, and a great number of them popped from being hit by Seed Bomb's explosion.
