Shikalee Captain Verd Juuyonbi_No_Peko_=3 Shikalee Juuyonbi_No_Peko_=3 When Asuma got slashed, it cutted through the vest =/ No it didn't. The spell only touches the flesh. Asuma -> Sitting up, blood rush down his front. Shikamaru -> On his belly; the blood could have pooled inside of his clothes. But we now know Shikamaru wasn't stabbed at all. xd he moved from the attack just in time =O, so the scythe cutted the capsule with the blood on it right? They stick themselves with the capsules. Shikamaru probably did it as soon as Hidan started to attack him. Speculation with no evidence. It does make sense, though. But it's hardly enough blood to make a difference, even if it was injected. I thought it showed Kakashi with the tiny needle sticking out of his palm. sad

Because I'm curious how blood reaches from his palm to his cheek just in time to be sliced, and for only that blood to reach the blade. Not only that, but he said, "Here, take THIS" and gave Shikamaru the ACTUAL capsule. That's why he was holding it in his hand.

I wonder what would happen if someone affected by Hidan's curse attacked themselves. Would the technique reverse and have Hidan take the damage instead of the target of the curse?

Shikalee Puma D. John No the sword cut the capsule considering the Scythe was clearly left behind. A good theory but can anyone explain his cheek, and the AMOUNT of blood that flew from the cut? It's not really a theory since the scythe was shown being dropped to the ground when Shikamaru got Hidan.

Ismaru Windsoul I wonder what would happen if someone affected by Hidan's curse attacked themselves. Would the technique reverse and have Hidan take the damage instead of the target of the curse? I don't think it would for three reasons. 1. Hidan is in the circle, wearing the amulet, and controlling the spell. 2. The attacked/attacker (Say, Shikamaru) is not immortal, and would die. 3. Even if it DID hurt Hidan back, Hidan is immortal. This is like asking if someone else can control Shikamaru's shadow.

It's not really a theory since the scythe was shown being dropped to the ground when Shikamaru got Hidan. Sure it is. Because the SCYTHE has NOTHING to do with the attack. Hidan could scratch you with his fingernails and his attack would still work. The scythe has nothing to do with Shikamaru allegedly not being cut at all. Very pointed out that the capsule is actually a syringe. Shikamaru was CUT.

Captain Verd Did he just use a kunai to stab himself? I can't remember. sad Hidan? He has this weird black pike... I can't tell what it is. Just looks like a long black rod with a pointed end. He used that to kill Asuma as well.

Extracted the pages from the book, and made sure I didn't miss a thing. xd Your observation of the capsule was excellent, by the way. I completely missed it until you pointed it out. :]
