He sighed. "Xane, you foul creature, you bring nothing but misery in your wake... Gods, now what am I to do? She'll return... She knows nothing else, and may not be so willing to trust Galbatorix..."

she was on ehr bed crying, her pillow in her arms, "i'm just me.......just plain old me.........." she was confused, she didn't know what to beleve, "mom...help me!......." she looked longingly at the picture of her dead mother...

He sighed. "I must give her time to sort this out for herself... And Galbatorix was always better with these sort of things anyway..."

he went to Tobius, "she will not listen, she hates everything. poor child..."

He sighed. "Leave her be. She'll return on her own will once she realizes that we're the only friends she has. She just needs time to herself to put things in order."

sh efell asleep that night crying and awoke the next morning to weird sounds...

he turned to her slightly shy, "um.....we need to gewt back to our time. so i need to brake this.." he held up a locket she had had for years. and then smashed it. a dark purple eruption came out.


sh elooked around at a grassy plane, Tobius and Galbatyorix where there too, "where the heck am I????!!!!!!!"

Tobias looked at Galbatorix, utterly confused. "I take it this was another safeguard the wizards placed after Xane's confinement?"

she looked around, spinning in cercles, "where am i!!!!!!!!!!!! whats going on!!!!!!"
