"Rain and tears"

Rain comes pouring down
like the bitter tears I've cried
and bathes this weary town
where many hearts have died

Woe forever with me
as I look forever out
How I long to be free
though I'm filled with doubt

Its all for naught
I'll never be free
A tear on black lashes caught
a single drop in the sea

Where is the sun
that warmed my golden hair
my work is never done
and life is never fair

And still I weep from heartache
Love forever lost
Till the lord my soul does take
For Love, no longer lost

That is so depressing. sad

Whenever I read it, I feel the same as I did when I wrote it.

It was raining, and i was at work. I was sooo bored and all I wanted to do was sleep. Inspiration comes at the strangest times sweatdrop
